My husband and I began this job and decided it was too much for us. We called Loayes Painting, because it got high marks on Angie's List. Eddie came the next day, gave us a good price, and scheduled the two days for the following week. The crew arrived on time, placed protective cloths from the front door to the bedroom, and did a wonderful job (SO much better than my husband and I could have done!). Eddie directed use to buy the paint from his regular supplier, and we got his discount. The experience could not have been better.

Scheduling and estimate were very easy and quick. Painters arrived on time. Pricing was a little higher than another quote that I got earlier that day, but decided to go with this contractor based on reviews on Angie's List. The overall quality of their work was just okay. They didn't get into the corners like they said they would, transitions from the walls to the ceiling seemed spotty in some areas, and I noticed a big glob of paint on the bedroom wall that had dried.

Pricing was too high for the space that needed to be painted.

they came to give me an initial estimate and then returned as agreed to do the work. They found more dmage than we originally thought. They showed me how the wood was just pealing away and how there was little undamaged wood remaining. We agreed on a higher price and they accomplished the work in a professional manner.

I was very happy with everything associated with the work. I was promptly contacted by Benigno and he arranged to come to the house for an estimate with a couple of days of my email. He provided a written estimate and the price did not vary from that estimate. He also provided a 10% discount as advertised. Most importantly, the work was performed perfectly. The wall looks great and you can't tell there was anything done that altered its original appearance. Overall, it was a very professional job and I would highly recommend the company.

Edwin was very responsive, professional and could start our work in a week. One worker, worked on our job for 2 days. Alberto has amazing skill with putty, it looks flawless. He completed the work on time and was extremely clean and courteous all while working around my son and two dogs. I would definitely recommend this company to others. I will be using them again in the future for drywall and painting the basement.

Loyas Painting did a great job in restoring a basement family room.

Loayes Painting are superior craftsmen. Their work is absolutely flawless. We called them in to repair a wall that was damaged by another electrical contractor. Not only were they able to repair it as new, they also repaired a crack in our ceiling that another contractor botched. I couldn't be happier with their work and will use them again.

It was a great experience. I ended up being home for a couple of days during the work period and was able to work and allow Loayes painting to work without interruption.. During that time I had water leaking into my dining room ceiling from my bathtub, my plumber couldn't find the leak. Edwin Loayes, who during his initial review of my dining room, had seen the leak not only found it and repaired the patch surrounding the leak. My daughter kept complimenting the work and it's true...It's beautiful.

As an Interior Designer I have used Loayes’ Painting Services for my clients for many years. I have always been pleased with his work and how he related to my clients. Therefore, when I noticed my house was overdue for painting I contacted Edwin, Contract Manager for Loayes’ Painting. I know the importance of a good paint job is prep and I needed a lot of it. We were also up against inclement weather. Edwin got his crew here the next day. His men were all courteous and considerate of my home as well as my family. From start to finish Edwin and his team did an outstanding job. Edwin came over the day after i contacted him for an estimate to replace and paint the upstairs ceiling and walls due to failing skylights. Before he could start the upstairs job we had serious water damage in the basement due to sump pump failure. We hired Edwin to fix the basement as well. The entire job was done in 4 days. We had two teams working at the same time. Everything was covered and taped to limit the dust from the drywall. Each night the team cleaned up which was great so we could enjoy our evenings without thinking we were living in a construction site. My husband is has very high standards and was so pleased with the work Edwin did we have since hired him to paint our office and to do some mason work on some cracked tile. Excellent work Edwin! We were quite pleased with the job that Edwin and his team did in our basement room. Edwin proposed a new type of insulation which we liked (Roxul), and did us a favor by pointing out to a problem in the siding (it turned out that it was leaking). We asked him to wait until we replace the siding, and Edwin agreed (we wanted to test the siding before installing the walls). The recessed lights were installed well, the wall and ceiling surfaces were smooth and the painting job was excellent. The only suggestion that we could make for the future is to cover the work area a bit better-- it took some time to clean up the floor. But we were planning on replacing the carpet anyway, so it wasn't a problem for us. To summarize, we thought the work was very well done.

we had spray foam put in our attic and they cut about 15 2' X 2' squares out of our walls and ceiling. Laoyes came and gave us an estimate (lower than others) then scheduled the work. Workers showed up on time and finished in one day! No breaks, no chatting, just fast, clean professional work. They got the paint match exactly. You can't tell there were holes and they cleaned up after. Highly recommend and if needed, will use them again.

He was very responsible and thorough. He did a very good job and we have used him since for subsequent jobs.

Use this company at your own risk. I used them to paint three bedrooms in my home, based on the recommendations on Angie's List. Loaye's seems more interested in rushing through jobs to make as much money as possible without taking any pride in their work. Despite communicating specific needs to Edwin (My home is plaster and the walls needed some cracks repaired and I wanted some hardware removed), he never communicated any of this to his team - therefore they did not do much of what I asked; they weren't even sure which colors were for which rooms. I could not get him to come to the worksite; he seemed too busy with other jobs. The team were different people on the two days (although we agreed it would be a three-day job, they rushed it into two, after delaying my job from a Monday start to a Thursday start). They did a very poor job, rushed the work, left paint splatters on my bedroom furniture, floor, kitchen cabinets, toaster, pots, dishes, windows, etc (not sure why they were washing their hands and brushes in my kitchen sink when I pointed them to a utility bathroom in the basement) and left deep scratches on my hardwood floors that I can only hope will come out when next I refinish the floors. They demanded payment although they finished at 7:00 on Friday night and I could not see the work. Only after significant pushback did they agree to let me inspect the work over the weekend before rendering payment, after which time I found significant problems (drips, trim color on the wall, wall color on the trim, cracks painted over, wall color on the ceiling, improper taping/painting of ceiling, caulking material on parts of my house they were not painting, etc.) It took them one full day to correct the mistakes of a two-day job, and even after that, I would consider the work sub-par, certainly not worth what it cost (part of the problem is that I used Benjamin Moore Aura paint - which I'm not sure the painters know how to use properly). They also held onto my key for three extra days, which is a bit nerve-wracking (between original job and touch up day.) Four weeks later, I am still finding paint drippings throughout my home. I almost feel as though their terrible clean up job and paint splatters/scratches on my floors (which I found only after touch up day and after I had paid them because again they finished late) rise to the level of wanton destruction of property. If you are meticulous and care about quality work, please consider using another company. (BTW - Edwin's parting words were, "If you like the work, please put a report on Angie's List, but if you're not happy, please don't say anything" - which might explain the lack of negative reviews.)

I started looking around Angie's List for the best painters, but what I really needed is someone who can do the job as soon as possible and not cause me a lot of headache. I contacted Loayes and Ed answered. I told him I needed the job as soon as possible and described it to him. Based on my description he quoted me a price that I felt was on the high side. I tried negotiating down but he didn't waiver, which didn't make me feel very good but he assured me they can do the job the day after the following day. True to his word, two guys showed up exactly at 8:30 am as promise (I also received a call an hour earlier to confirm). I showed the guys the room and the color I want. The job was finished by 2:30 pm and it looked perfect. Admittedly, the job was an easy one. But what really impressed me was the promptness of the team, their professional conduct, their speed, and the quality of the work even though it was simple. Besides, Ed is a nice guy and he seemed to be honest. I will definitely call him again if I have another paint job.

We decided not to use them as they are difficult to reach, and we couldn't get ahold of them.

I am very impressed with the service we received from Loayes Painting. The owner did an estimate one day and was able to start and complete the job the very next day. The team was polite, efficient, and did a superior job. They covered everything before painting, moved the furniture and paintings carefully, and returned everything to its exact spot when they were done. The team was meticiulous about details from the trim to the crevices. I am so pleased with the service and product that we are planning on hiring them for several more rooms in the house! I highly highly recommend Loayes painting!

From start to finish, it went very well. They came promptly when they said they would, finished when they said they would, and cleaned up when they were finished.
