Description of Work: We were very satisfied with our entire experience with Loayes Painting. They were one of 3 companies we got an estimate from, they were in the middle for the cost estimate. We chose them b/c I felt the most comfortable (they were not pushy) and they would do repairs to the water damaged ceiling, not just cover it up. They did a great job with the repair and great job painting. We had 4 different colors they used to paint multiple rooms, including a two story entryway. It was a 3 day job. Each day they showed up on time, were quick to get to work, finished at a reasonable time, and cleaned up the drop cloths, vacuumed, etc. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: We had some water damage in our finished basement - the team installed wallboard, primed and painted. Estimate was lower than other companies I bid with. The team arrived on time, was VERY clean with their work (blocked off the area, did not track dust through the house, cleaned up at the end of each day). You cannot tell where the holes in the wall were - they did a fantastic patch job!

Description of Work: Strip the wallpaper off all walls in a full bathroom, prime the walls, paint the walls/ceiling/window/door. Dramatically new color in the bathroom and it looks great!

Description of Work: Edwin showed up promptly to do the estimate and was very detail-oriented, laying out exactly what was covered. His team was able to start the following week. On that basis, we hired his team, though his was not the lowest estimate we got. We're totally satisfied with the work. He and the team showed up early the first day, and he frequently checked in. They were thorough, careful, polite, and cleaned up each day. The painting looks great and we will use them in the future.

Description of Work: After a branch damaged our house during a winter storm, we obtained an estimate and check from our insurance company, reviewed Angie’s List and then contacted Loayes Painting and Contracting. Edwin, the owner and hands on supervisor, came by the next day. After reviewing the damages -- and work to be done -- we decided to expand the project to include repairs to other rooms in our 50-year old house. Specifically, the final job involved replastering and repainting our Master bedroom and bath, a second bedroom, downstairs powder room, kitchen, living room and dining room. Edwin was most helpful in describing how his men would work and how we needed to “clear the decks” in preparation. Two men were assigned full time and not only plastered and painted, but carefully moved heavy furniure as needed; they were efficient, careful (nothing was broken), and competent -- their work flawless. Naturally, as the work progressed, we found other jobs to be done; no problem: we simply discussed with Edwin who gave us an estimate on the spot -- and it was done. He even brought in a carpenter to fix seven sliding doors, something we hadn’t originally considered. We highly recommend this company, and are now considering them for some oudoor work.
