Description of Work: I have used Virginia Window cleaners since the 1980's. They schedule their crews to meet my schedule, do a great job, and consistently arrive on time are polite, and do what I asked. They clean my Pella windows thoroughly and clean my chandaliers and replace all the light bulbs so I don't have to climb up and do that. I have no complaints after using them for 25 years.

Description of Work: window cleaning at one of my rentals. Took day off to meet them, did not show without a phone call. I called them to reschedule they did show, but charged more than estimate. Called to schedule to clean my own home's windows. Took day off to get it done. Never showed again. No phone call. Scheduled 2 more times and never showed for them. When I spoke with Pam the OWNER, she was down right RUDE and did nothing to correct the POOR customer service I recieved. Have reported them to BBB. Will not ever use them again and advise you to do the same

+ -1 moreUsed this company in 2005 & was pleased. Nothing has gone well this time w/ problems yet to be resolved. Service person was to give me a quote after our walk around; however, he began pulling out his equipment to start the job w/out discussing price. Price quoted was too high for outside only, but I decided to accept cost to get job done. I did not follow them around as they worked, but assumed they would clean all windows agreed on. Checked windows closely after workers left. Half of the windows were not touched. Have called several times & was told by owner that during last conversation that someone would call me to arrange for workers to return and finish job. No call yet. Owner was borderline rude - very snippy tone. I invited her to come to my home and inspect windows - she did not accept. Her attitude and tone was curt and dismissive, like maybe I was a liar or this problem was my fault. She has my money & my windows are still dirty a week later. Unprofessional personnel, did not do work agreed on & no interest in making this right. If you need clean windows at a reasonable price & want professional, courteous treatment, avoid this company.
Description of Work: Instructed service people re windows to be cleaned, outside only. Twenty regular windows and several larger ones.

+ -1 moreThey do a good job. They don't leave your house a mess, I usually don't like to have my windows cleaned because they take everything apart, but Virginia Window Cleaners are good. They send people who have been doing it for years and they know what they're doing, they don't slop water all over everything. They even move the furniture back in place when they're finished. I think their prices are fair.

When I called them, the receptionist and Tim, the manager, were rude and dismissive, essentially calling me a liar. They refused to even come by the house to look at the windows, even though we were a repeat customer. I have never been treated like this by any vendor in my personal or professional life.
