Description of Work: I contacted Capital Masonry via Angie's list to make an appointment. Someone from the company called me to let me know that because they just committed to a large project, they would be afraid they may not be able to get to our job in a timely manner. I find this very honorable and professional to decline a job by calling the customer and letting the customer know why they cannot bid on the job. If I have future work, I will certainly call Capital.

Description of Work: I used Capital Masonry to repair a 70 year old cinder block wall, approx 3 feet high, in the front of my property. It looks beautiful. They also resurfaced the cinder block foundation under my front porch and along the front of my house. Excellent work!

Description of Work: The entire process went very well. Mike came out and provided an estimate at the scheduled time. His team did the job exactly as planned and to a very high standard. There was one very minor issue which was taken care of very quickly. I would definitely use Capital Masonry again.

Description of Work: Installed a 12x16 foot flagstone patio, with additional, large flagstones forming path from deck to new patio. Work done exactly as promised, on schedule. Excellent craftsmanship.

Description of Work: I needed my front walkway and stoop replaced. Mike and the folks at Capital Masonry were exceptional in every aspect. I was impressed with every step. They said they would start at 8:30 in the morning and were there exactly at 8:30. The work was clean, professional and better looking than I had expected. I would have them back in a heartbeat. Description of Work: Installed a 450 sqft flagstone patio that included concrete base. Mike was a true pleasure to work with and his experienced crew got the job done in about a week. The natural stone patio looks great and we look forward to many years of use. Price was about right for Northern (Arlington) Virginia. We would gladly use Capital Masonry again for future projects.

Description of Work: He responded very quickly and came out right on time, but stated that there was a $1500 minimum for the job in order to apply the $400 credit coupon, which is not outlined anywhere on the website in the details of the deal.

Description of Work: I was really impressed with Capital Masonry. Mike was easy to get a hold of and showed up exactly on time to provide an estimate for our flagstone walkway. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained the types of stones available and the pro's and con's of each. I never felt pressured to go with one type of stone over another. He provided us a quote during the same visit. Unfortunately, the estimate was higher than we were prepared to pay for this project. I am certain that had we gone with Capital Masonry, they would have done an excellent job.

Description of Work: Repaired\replaced cracked bricks in wall. Removed mortar joints in existing flagstone walkway, replaced broken stone, reset and regrouted all stones. Built a new flagstone walkway. On first visit with Mike, received a cost estimate and schedule of when the work could be performed. Everything went as planned. Workmen arrived on time everyday and completed each scheduled task before leaving that day. Did an excellent job, including power washing and a total cleanup of the area. Very satisfied with the outcome.
