Description of Work: We had a problem with carpenter bees around all our porches. National Exterminators treated the areas and took care of the problem. The gentleman was pleasant, efficient, and explained everything he was using and the expected outcome. We have seen no more evidence of the bees.

+ -1 moreBecause the quality of work seems to vary by location, I will note that the job described was done in Williamsburg, VA. As noted above, we called the company to deal with ants on our back porch. The first treatment seemed to take care of most of the problem, but there were some ants remaining, and as per our contract we decided to get a second treatment When we called the company back, however, we had difficulty getting in touch with the technician, and when we did he never bothered to come back for the promised second visit. My wife spoke to the person she was told was in charge, but essentially was brushed off. In short, although the initial treatment seemed acceptable, there was no follow-up, despite the option of it being written into the contract. This experience was particularly galling to us because we had used National Exterminating previously (in Yorktown, VA) and were THRILLED with their professionalism and desire to please.
Description of Work: We had a problem with sugar ants on our screened back porch. We had a termite contract with National, so we called them to address the problem. The technician sprayed and placed ant traps, and said that if we had problems to call him back within a month for a second treatment.
