HANDY'S SEPTIC & DRAIN CLNG

The serviceman called me back within 30 minutes of my leaving a message with the receptionist that I needed help. This was on Friday afternoon. He said that if he could finish the job he was on he would come by that day. He called back a couple of hours later to say that their truck had been involved in an accident, striking a utility pole, and that he couldn't make it before dark. Said he would call tomorrow morning (Saturday) if he could come. He called Saturday morning around 8:00 am and asked if he could come out. When he arrived he told me that, since the tank had not been opened in 30+ years, it might be "frozen" in place but that he would do everything he could to not break the concrete lid getting it out. He was working alone and worked tirelessly to remove the lid without breaking it. When he finally did get it off, without breaking it, the tank was absolutely full to the top. He started pumping but very soon had to start pumping water from his truck into the tank to thin the sludge so he could pump more out. He worked long and hard but finally had it empty. He remained pleasant and professional throughout the ordeal. He even gave me pointers on things I could do to improve the condition of the tank and prolong the time between cleanings. He only charged $200.00, which was less than half I had expected to pay. It was so refreshing to see business conducted like it was 30 years ago - with integrity and professionalism. I'm telling everyone I know about this guy. He's wonderful! If you want the job done right and by someone who actually acts like he appreciates your patronage, call this company.
