Everything went great. I used to use them when I lived in Manassas and am happy that they now service Centreville.

From the initial call to the actual visit was top-notch! Called other companies - Woody's could respond the fastest. Receptionist was very polite and professional as was the serviceman on site. Found problem and fixed quickly. Did not try to sell us more than was needed.

We have used woody on several occasions to come out and do minor and major repairs. He has always been very punctual, friendly and thorough. The work performed is always top notch and his prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend his companies services!

He knows his stuff. We've used him before and he is very knowledgeable. Like most contractors, he may try to up sale to a new system when it's unnecessary. but he can usually fix whatever is wrong. "Sudden" service is a misnomer. Expect a next day appointment at best.

We were referred to Woody's by a neighbor who has used them for years. We were in the market for a new heat pump / propane furnace system and had received quotes from four other local well-reviewed providers. Steve, their general manager, was very responsive with their quote, which was almost the lowest of the quotes. Based on the positive recommendations, reviews, and price, we chose them. Steve, Evan, and a helper arrived on-time, at around 8:30 am, on install day. They were hard at work all day. They finished up around 4:30pm and Steve stuck around for another 45 minutes (on a Friday) to walk us through using the new system. Before leaving, Evan cleaned up the tile floors in our basement. The guys were very friendly, courteous, and professional. The system is working great and we're very happy with the work done by Steve and Evan of Woodys.

They were able to get to our house by 9 the next morning to check the problem. I had an appointment at 11 and they were able to find the issue and get it fixed very promptly. We've been using them for 16 years and have always had great experiences. It's not just that they are available and do great work but their prices are very fair, as well.

The serviceman Bryan showed up on time, was very personable and very professional. He took the time to explain what he was doing, made all required adjustments to improve the efficiency of the furnace, including adjusting and cleaning of a fan that sometimes caused a whistling sound. Even though Bryan appeared young to me (I'm retired), he is very knowledgeable about furnaces and extremely dedicated, because he took the time to ensure that everything was working correctly before he finished. Because of Bryan's work, I signed a new service contract, which includes a spring checkup on my air conditioning unit and discounts on any additional work that needs to be done. I will definitely ask for Bryan personally in the future.

Woody's was prompt, and professional. They went over and explained in detail the service check of our heating system. We were more than happy and pleased with the Company. We were so impressed with Woody's that we are definitely using them for our summer service check of our AC. I HIGHLY recommend Woody's Sudden Service.

He was pleased. Woody came out and gave the estimate. All four guys that came out to do the work were nice. He had a problem with not feeling the air in certain parts of the house. They came back that week to fix it. He was very happy.

Woody came out at the time he was scheduled. He was training a new hire. He was friendly, courteous, and polite. He and trainee had shoe coverings on and he also put a drop cloth down to prevent dirt from tools. We have a contract with him to do our annual spring and fall checkups.

Woody's have always been very responsive and provided quality service at a fair price.

They have given estimates in advance and have kept the pricing reasonable. One time I was out of town and my furnace went out. A bird had gotten caught in the vent over Thanksgiving weekend and they came out to repair it and also let me know that the wiring had been done incorrectly by the past owners. They said in good conscience they could not allow the problem to go unfixed and fixed the repairs over Thanksgiving weekend for no additional charge. They were most recently here to check the pilot light on my water heater and started it up with no charge. They also provided an estimate for a new water heater and installation.

They came out the same day right when they said they would and took care of the problem. I also think that their service was affordable compared to some of the other service providers. They were very professional and respectful.

We've been pleased with Woody's Sudden Service, Inc. We've used them for a very long time. We've been very pleased with their promptness, their pricing and their quality.

Steve came out and put in a lot of freon to get the system back up and running. There was a MUCH more expensive repair that he thought of doing but he talked with the old timers back at the shop and they determined the more expensive repair may or may not fix it. They jointly decided that they would not replace the more expensive part and what;'s more, they would not charge us for the freon ($360). Their collective thought is that it was our first experience with them and they did not want us to have a huge bill for something that may or may not work. They'd just rather we call them the next time we need service. That shows a great deal integrity and character on their part and we will surely call them the next time we need A/C service!

Our furnace stopped working, and I called Woody's Sudden Service because we have a maintenance agreement with them. They scheduled us for the following day. Their technician, Steve, arrived during the time frame they provided. He was able to quickly determine the source of our problem, a failed motor. He initially told me that since he didn't have that part on hand, the repair couldn't be completed until the next day. But he called me back shortly after departing and let me know that he had found the part locally, and would go pick it up now and return shortly. Since the weather was still freezing cold, I was very happy to hear that. He returned, completed the repair, and everything has been working great since. Very polite and professional!

Prompt and courteous, installed it and did a great job and was very knowledgable.

Heat stopped working during storm last nite, and we found a puddle of water under the unit. Called Woody the next morning and he came out quickly. He explained that the water probably came though the vent pipe during the storm, checked the unit and made sure it was working. Charged only for the service call, didn't try to sell me things/repairs I don't need. I will definately call this company again, and recommend to friends and neighbors!

Everything about dealing with Woody's was great from beginning to end, very prompt service, professional engineers, polite and courteous at all times. I'm very happy with Woody's and will be using them again for regular service of my HVAC system.

We requested and received three separate estimates on the work, all from Angie's List A-rated service providers. While all three were very professional, Woody's Sudden Service gave us the best combination of price and value - additionally, we met the technician that would be the lead in performing the actual services. That was a huge plus, as he saw fisrt-hand what he would be working with. The technician, Evan Young, was very responsive to our questions prior to our selecting his company for the work - he really seemed like he wanted to win the contract, which was another huge plus. The work was performed in professional manner. The team was conscientious and worked diligently throughout the day. They were always willing to answer our queries, regardless of how basic those questions might have been. Most everything went exactly as Evan had described to us with two minor exceptions: 1) the computerized control module was faulty - as it was the weekend, the supplier was not available - so they had to rig a temporary solution to get us through the weekend - Evan came by Monday and permanently resolved the issue; and 2) as part of the quote, we had requested that a whole-house humidifier be installed - unfortunately, Evan had miscalculated the space that needed for the humidifier he had specified in the bid - another humidifier, which he did not have readily available, will need to be installed. We agreed that it would not be installed until the Fall, as it is only needed when we start to run the heat. I would highly recommend Woody's Sudden Service. We will use them for all of our future HVAC needs.

I had work done by Woody's on the old system and found them always friendly and knowledgeable with reasonable rates. They never pushed me to replace the system. This time was no different. They were on time and friendly. The work was done in the time they said it would be done and took time to explain the new thermostat (I am technologically challenged). I will have them back again if needed.
