Woody's was great. They came out when the roads were still bad from the storm. We had been without heat for more than 2 days so their responsiveness was greatly appreciated. They replaced the necessary part quickly and our house was warm again within an hour. Thank you so much.

We have used Woody's for heat pump and furnace replacements in 2 houses now, and have always been satisfied with their responsiveness, level of service and commitment to getting the job done right. This last service - a complete replacement of our old oil furnace with a dual heat pump/propane system - required multiple visits for pre-installation inspections, furnace installation, installation of interior gas lines, and coordination with the propane tank provider to get the gas hooked up and final inspections completed. Steve at Woody's took direct ownership of the entire process to ensure that everything was done correctly and all of the visits were coordinated with us. Since the propane tank installation took some time to get done, Woody's installed their equipment, got the heat pump up and running, and followed up over the course of the next 2 weeks with additional visits to get the gas furnace running once the propane was installed and final inspections on the tank and interior gas lines were completed. Woody's did not request or accept payment until everything, including the gas furnace, was fully installed and operating to our satisfaction. We have also used Woody's on numerous occasions for heat pump and furnace service work, and have always been satisfied with their work and their level of responsiveness. I would very much recommend Woody's Sudden Service for your HVAC needs.

Provider was on time and provided good service. they did not try to sell me something I didn't need.

I have been a Woody's customer for greater than 12 years, and continue my annual service contracts based on the consistent level of professionalism from the office staff to the service technicians that I have received, and expect to continue to receive. Woody is fantastic, Steve who frequents our house at least twice per year is awesome, and I am never disappointed when I have to contact the office. I highly recommend Woody's Sudden Service.

Excellent. The Technician arrived promptly, was courteous and professional. He assessed the situation and told us he did not feel the pipe was leaking. He charged us nothing.

Wow, I cannot even begin to say enough great things about Woody's Sudden Service! I know nothing about heat pumps. The problem - when the heat pump would reach the temperature that I set it at the heat would go off and then the air conditioner would kick on. I knew that there was cold air coming out of the vents but I thought that the fan just wouldn't shut off (and not that the unit was turning on the air conditioning!) The only way to get the unit to kick off would be to physically turn the temperature setting down on the thermostat. I had another well known HVAC company come look at the unit two years ago and they had no idea what was wrong with it. When Woody came out he explained everything to me while he was working on the unit. As a side note - during our conversation I found out that Woody is a retired electrical engineer and he is also a licensed electrical contractor. He had the unit fixed within an hour. Now the embarrassing part - this had been going on for over eleven years. It turns out that the company that initially installed the new unit wired it incorrectly. Ugh. Again, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Woody's Sudden Service! I highly recommend them.

The Rep from Woody's did not concur with the findings of my previous provider, thus not condemning my whole unit. He spent a lot of time looking over the whole system. He did in fact find an A/C thermal transfer valve problem, which my previous provider did not find as he was looking at the heating system at the beginning of cooling season. Woody's replaced the valve 2 days later. Based on the service I got from Woody's I did not renew my previous provider's maintenance contract, and instead initiated a maintenance contract with Woody's.

Our heating went out overnight. Woke up to a freezing cold house on a Sunday morning. Called Woody's expecting to get a voice mail and a real person answered! That was surprising. The young lady I spoke with worked with me to schedule a service time that is convenient for me. Woody himself arrived at the scheduled time and VERY quickly diagnosed the problem; a capacitor went out on our air handler. He had the part on hand and within 10 minutes our heat was back on. Woody recommended a maintenance contract because we had one previously, but had let it lapse due to finances. He said that the dying capacitor would have been caught during the PM visit and would have been replaced; we wouldn't have been without heat. Needless to say, I just signed up for a contract. In all the years that I've worked with Woody's Sudden Service, I cannot say I had a bad service call. They've almost always arrived on time and if they were late, they called me often to advise me of their arrival time. I would definitely recommend them for your heating and cooling needs.

Although, I didn't arrange the appointment through Angie's List, I wanted to write a review as I have always been impressed by this company and their service. I have used them for at least 10 years and have always had good experiences with them. Their technicians always arrive promptly. They are very friendly and they listen to what I have to say about the problem I am experiencing. They diagnose the problem and fix it in a timely manner. Just a great bunch of people. I also like supporting a local firm which they are.

We've been using them for probably 20 years now and we've always had a very good service from them. When we started using them Woody was the staff and now the last guy was lovely. He was very responsive, he gave me his phone number and if I try to contact him he got back with a reasonable amount usually within 24 hours. They're not the cheapest people in the area but their service is good and when they're done your work their service is absolutely reliable. They would call us if they were going to be late. We used them because they've been consistently reliable.

It went very well. He arrived on time ,was very pleasant and efficient . The company had installed the system a few years ago and we were vey happy with the company then and now.

We've been dealing with Woody for over 20 years, and we've always had good experiences with him. He consistently does quality work, he's very pleasant and helpful, and he clearly answers any of our questions. Furthermore, he's very respectful of the house and never leaves a mess.

Job was done, issues were resolved. My husband was just frustrated because they were both repairs he should have been able to figure out and fix himself, but he didn't have enough time and the repairs were time sensitive. Luckily, the cost wasn't too high.

They were prompt. Their price was reasonable, and they didn't repair anything that didn't need to be repaired.

He came out and my mother in law was here. He took a look at the thermostat and aid yes its broken, charged us $150 and left. I think he was expecting a call back to fix it. I went to take a shower the next morning and it was cold water. I went down to the water heater which is next to the furnace and it was turned all the way down. We have been in this house 5 years and it does not move on its own. Someone had to move it and he was the only one down there. It was very obvious that an old lady was here and she had money and that she would call him back and he would sell her a thermostat and then fix the water heater problem. He was here the next day.

As always, the technicians are skilled professionals. They know a great deal, yet are not above calling the manufacturer to confirm their diagnostics. They are very responsive. I wish more contractors were like them.

I've been using Woody's for the last 4 years to provide all routine maintenance and unscheduled repairs to my HVAC system. The office staff and field technicians have never been anything but professional and courteous to us. They provide good insight into the condition of my HVAC and advice for us to better care for and extend the life of our system. I am military and went overseas for 1.5 years recently. While gone I counted on Woody's to maintain my HVAC system while I had tenants in the house. They went out to the house every spring and fall to clean and service our HVAC... I never had to call or make any additional effort to get them out there. They performed all work on time and as agreed to in our contract. When my tenant decided it was a good idea not to change the filters at all between the fall and spring maintenance and the HVAC overheated Woody's went out to the house and got the system up and running quickly, at a reasonable price and educated my tenant on when/how to replace the filters to prevent future failures. I'm back in the house and it?s time for my fall service so I'm sticking with the professionals that have done such a great job for me over past 4 years.

We've used Woody's services for the past 30 years. I wouldn't call anyone else but them if I needed A/C or heating services. They've been reasonable and dependable on each visit. They've replaced our A/C and Heating units in the past 10 years and we bought the maintenance plan with them so they visit twice a year to check out the units for potential issues. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Woody’s Sudden Service was good. We went with them because they sold the best options. They had very good customer service and explained everything very well.

Damage happened, I called, they came out the same afternoon and took care of everything. Completed in about an hour and a half

I’ve used them in the past and they’re actually going to do some work on my new residence today. In the past, they did pretty good. We called them and they actually came out like an emergency kind of thing and just worked on stuff. Then the next day, we had a new A/C installed and everything works. To be honest, the cost included everything, the installation and A/C. It was a top of the line A/C for that time. I like the proximity. They were very nice, very professional, on time and they came out in an emergency. We did get an on call from them for us. A/C providers don’t give you their prices unless they’ve installed it for you. I would use them again in a few years if everything goes well and the price is right.

Price was reasonable. They are just great and very professional. The guy knew what he was doing and he had the motor on the truck. These guys are no nonsense pros. We’re going to use them again.

Woody's technicians showed up on time and were very professional and polite. They cleaned and inspected my two central air conditioning systems and pronounced them good to go for the summer. I have had annual service contracts with Woody's for my heating and cooling systems for probably ten years now and have always been pleased with their work, professionalism and prices.

Repaired the flue on my furnace. Woody's staff is knowledgeable and give great service, resolve issues quickly and at a reasonably price. I had a problem with my furnace making a noise, and Woody took the time to investigate the flue, recreate the issue, and wasn't satisfied until he resolved it. He explained what was happening to it, how he was going to fix it, and how to avoid future issues. While there, Woody also showed me what I should do to avoid water backing up in the AC drain water line so in the summertime, I wouldn't have a water back-up or leak caused by slime in the line. I appreciated the useful tips to avoid issues later!
