Wine Energy Heating and Air Conditioning

E.E. Wine installed a fuel oil tank sometime after 2007. I was just told it will cost me $1,000.00 to buy a new one. The average life expectancy for an above ground 250 gallon tank is 20 years. I was told I was getting a break by being charged $1,000.00 instead of $1,800.00. I have been a loyal customer for almost 29 years. Have NEVER been late with a payment and have had maintenance contracts for over twenty years. I guess the contract doesn't cover inspecting the fuel tank. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and they know I have no other alternative. I will pay to have this new tank installed at 50% of it;s average lifespan. But they have lost a loyal customer. I estimate with oil purchase and maintenance agreements I have spent at least 60K with E.E. Wine and then they rip me off.

The service was very smooth. They were very professional and the results were excellent. I also felt the cost was extremely reasonable. It has really contributed to quality of life, and I will definitely use them again. I'm looking forward to using them for all of my heating and air conditioning needs.

They had the lowest estimate for the furnace. They had a discounted agreement for us since they installed our furnace, and so they gave us a discounted price for a few years. Then I went back to them because the previous company I was using raised their prices.. This year their price has gone down to about $.3.39 per gallon. The initial use was for them to install a new furnace and I was very impressed with the guy who came and gave an estimate. His price undercut the entire price I had gotten. He was the same guy who came back and installed it with one helper. He did it very efficiently. The helper was done for the day by lunch and after lunch he came back with the parts and did the duct work all by him. I thought that was very efficient. I was kind of impressed that the same guy that gave me the estimate did the work. They gave us the first year maintenance agreement for free and that was in exchange for allowing them to supply us the oil, so I guess it was a good trade off.

I received a phone call about the time I expected the estimator to arrive. The girl said "my director say we aren't licensed for gas work, so we have to cancel." I wasted over two weeks waiting for a no-show. These guys deliver oil and they OK at that. But I wouldn't ask them to rake leaves, let alone service my heating system. Bozos.

We have oil-fired central heating and we get the oil from them. They were recommended to us by our neighbors. The people we purchased our home might have had a very good experience. We had to get them in to fix it because the heating dye had gone. We have been pleased with them. I have another contract waiting for me to sign for heating oil for the winter and frankly I am just waiting to call them to make sure that they have a reasonable price on the heating oil. Other than that, I have been very pleased with them. We signed the contract for heating and got a free cleaning of our boiler which was worth $150.00 or $175.00. The contract we signed states that they would store our oil once a month. The oil we needed was probably around a couple hundred gallons and the cost was approximately $450.00. The price was good for last year. The quality of service they gave us was very good. They were responsive and professional. We had some issues as we had home owners insurance that we got through the person that owned the home. As it was an oil-fired boiler, home owners insurance couldn't use their people because they didn't have any. EE Wine was patient and they worked with us and put them onto an insurance company to sort it out. We got everything fixed in the end. I would use them in the future, but right now I am debating. If oil costs hits a dime or more a gallon I probably will use someone else that will give a cheap rate. It has nothing to do with their service.
