Description of Work: WEDGE put in a new kitchen for me and some miscellaneous tasks. The quality and craftsmanship of Steve their carpenter was very good at installing the cabinets. Unfortunately, WEDGE used a subcontractor electrician, Mike Jones from Virginia, and I am still spending money to correct the mistakes. Wiring is incorrect and was left hanging loose in the basement; electrical outlets are crooked; and circuits blow regularly. They actually used existing circuits after charging me for upgrades. I finally let them go without them completing the punch list because I didn't want them doing anymore damage. I had hired WEDGE because they put in a bathroom 20 years ago that was a really good job. Unfortunately, their work was not the same as it was 20 years ago.

Description of Work: Kitchen and family room remodeling. Great job! Wedge guys were very professional, and did wonderful work. They were were prompt, and when they left for the day everything was neat and clean. We would be happy to use then again.

+ 5 moreI went through numerous contractors before finding Wedge Construction, and have used them ever since for over 3 years now for all of my company's remodeling jobs(my company buys, remodels, and resells real estate). They do good work at good prices, and almost always get the job done on the scheduled date; in an 8-week schedule, they've never been more than 4 days behind schedule, which is excellent in the remodeling business. There are always punch-list items with any contractor, and they take care of them without question. Most importantly, their manager/owner is honest and dependable.
Description of Work: This company has remodeled 10+ houses for my business, with most jobs including remodeled kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, painting, landscaping, windows, doors, trims, hardware, lighting. Prices have ranged from 40K-135K per house.

+ -1 moreThey came out and did an ok job for me on the floors. I felt like I had to babysit the guy that came out just to make sure he was not breaking things because he was being a little rough and it was hard to get him to come out but when we finally got scheduled he was mostly on time.
