Description of Work: I have shrubs around my wrap around porch that had picked up a disease which could have killed them but with the spray that was used they look healthy again.

+ -1 moreI contacted Virginia Ever-Green for an estimate on a lawn program. My lawn is full of weeds which seemed to be especially bad this year. I was looking for fertilization, weed control, seeding, and generally an idea of how best to get my lawn in better shape. A friend has been using them for a few years and was happy with their service. Their rep came out the day after I called and left me a written estimate in the door. They offered several levels of service - basis, deluxe, premium - so I was able to choose the program I wanted. I called to discuss the options and they were very helpful on the phone in answering questions. Their price was the lowest of 2 bids. When I called to schedule service, they were helpful and scheduled me in within just a few days. Note that the price above is for a townhouse and not a single family home and I chose the deluxe option figuring I would start with a better plan to get my lawn in shape and could scale down to basic later.
Description of Work: To date, I have only received the first weed control/fertilization treatment in an annual plan of 6 scheduled visits. It is too soon to see results in my lawn, although some of the weeds are dying which is a good thing. The day they came for the service, they left a detailed note in my door to let me know they had been there, and also left instructions for lawn care (such as don't mow the lawn for at least 24 hours, contain pets for at least 2 hours after treatment), which I really appreciated.
