I contacted Virginia Ever-Green for an estimate on a lawn program.  My lawn is full of weeds which seemed to be especially bad this year.  I was looking for fertilization, weed control, seeding, and generally an idea of how best to get my lawn in better shape.   A friend has been using them for a few years and was happy with their service.   Their rep came out the day after I called and left me a written estimate in the door.  They offered several levels of service - basis, deluxe, premium - so I was able to choose the program I wanted.  I called to discuss the options and they were very helpful on the phone in answering questions.  Their price was the lowest of 2 bids.  When I called to schedule service, they were helpful and scheduled me in within just a few days.  

Note that the price above is for a townhouse and not a single family home and I chose the deluxe option figuring I would start with a better plan to get my lawn in shape and could scale down to basic later.
