Description of Work: Cannot say enough good things about this company and in particular Ray, who helped us fix many things around the house that had needed fixing for a while. He was prompt, professional, efficient and amazingly knowledgeable about electrical, plumbing, woodwork, appliance installation, etc. I will certainly use this company for upcoming bathroom remodeling projects--next on our list!

Description of Work: Caulked, replaced wooden joint on floor, replaced ballast on banister, handyman items. Very good work but too expensive for the amount they did. About $200 per hour plus they charged 3% for using credit card. Were at the house for less than 4 hours. Might use them again. Did good work just too expensive.

Description of Work: The company laid a new floor for us and the reason it has taken so long to write this review is my very ambivalent feelings. The work done was exceptional but Two By Four had to reschedule 5 times because of an overload of work They always called in a timely fashion but this was very aggravating. As I stated, the work is beautiful but I don't know if I would use them again. Maybe.....

Description of Work: Two by Four Construction sanded and stained my hardwood floors in our living room, kitchen and hallway. They were very professional and kept me informed through each phase of the process. We discovered after sanding - there were different woods laid down - but they took the time to match up the stain so the total surface looked even as possible. We were very pleased and recommend this business.

Description of Work: Representative came out on time, observed and described various repairs needed (roof, deck, siding), said he would work up an estimate. Never provided estimate. Repeated contact attempts via e-mail and phone were never returned. Moved on to another contractor.

Description of Work: Two different jobs. Handyman services took care of a new dryer vent, table installation, door repair and adjustments, and window screen repair. | |I was so impressed with their work, I had them install a sensor water faucet, for the kitchen, on a separate job, the next day.

Description of Work: The technician was able to resolve many household issues in an efficient manner. He actually finished everything on our list and then did several more things because we still had time.

Description of Work: So far, I have just received an estimate for some finishing carpentry work in the basement. They were on time for the estimate appointment, courteous, and professional. I first thought the quote a little high, but it is close to several others I have now received. I guess the project is just more expensive then I thought. I do plan to use them as soon as I save the money for the work.

Description of Work: I bought the wood refinishing for my son and daughter-in-law for a Christmas present. I worked Bob (I think that was the contacts name). what a nice guy!! (sorry I don't remember your name...) He did the estimate for the entire floor - which was more square footage than the special offer was good for. Very understanding in helping me stay inside my budget! He contacted my son - they set up the time. There was a small problem with the original date to do the refinishing. But the 2x4 Construction people reached out to my son to let him know and a new date and time was agreed on. When they showed up - they were professional and very detail orientated. My daughter-in-law LOVES her floors. Very Very happy with 2x4 Construction!

Description of Work: Took advantage of a 200 sf for $999 offer on hardwood flooring install. Company contacted me within 48h of booking to arrange an appointment to drop off samples and take measurements. We ended up doing our entire master suite (~450 sf) at a very reasonable cost. Crew arrived on time, removed old carpet, tightened subflooring, laid underlayment and put down new flooring. Nice crew, cleaned up very well and the flooring looks fantastic. Job took approximately 10½ hours to complete. Five months on and still very happy with the job. Would definitely use this firm again!
