Description of Work: For heating and air conditioning, we have a contract with a company called Shaw Services.

Description of Work: Annual HVAC maintenance. They were very professional and did an excellent job.

Description of Work: Evaluate HVAC system in new condo. We complaint of fan noice. He took the time to research and came back to advice on how resolve part of the problem. We had used Shaw In the past to install new HVAC system in our old house. The tech Kevin Crile is very knowledgeable and pleasant. He came out on Christmas Eve to install our furnace and did an excellent job.

Description of Work: My 1st floor A/C stopped cooling on one of the hottest days of the year. They came right out and checked it over. Told me that I had a serious coolant leak in the A coil. As the unit was 11+ years old and inefficient, I decided to replace the entire unit with a new, more efficient one. They answered all my questions about possible choices. After I decided what unit I wanted they kept the old one running sufficient to keep the house cool for several days while waiting for the new one to arrive. They then installed the new one and it has worked very well. They were a pleasure to deal with -- all the people I worked with were very professional. I also have used them to repair a furnace that did not start on a cold day. Kevin was great.

Description of Work: Shaw's installed a new 40 gallon water-heater correctly, efficiently, without disruptions, and with equipment documentation on water-heater, information, instructions, and responses to questions that were correct and polite. |

Description of Work: They got back to us quickly and sent someone out within the hour.The tech was great--very knowledgeable and courteous. We are definitely going to use Shaw again.

Description of Work: Our heater quit in the middle of the night--called Judy at Shaw Services (they have performed AC and Heating maintenance for us for the past several years). It was 8 am and we were not desperate --we had fireplace and small heaters. Judy asked if between 11 and 1 was OK. And the repairman was early--before 11. Quick replacement of a part and now we're warm again. Shaw Services is fabulous--they are there for you in an emergency.
