Sam's Floor Covering Inc

Had heard Sam's was often used by Lowes to install hardwood floors sold through Lowes. We called Sam's and told them we were looking to buy a floor (either through them or through another store) and have them install it. They came out and looked at the property to give us an estimate. We were trying to get the work done relatively quickly (within 10-14 days) and told them as such. Didn't get a quote 3 days after the guy came out to do the quote. Called the store and was told that particular saleman was off that day and that we should call back another day. Called two days later when we still didn't hear anything and the salesman said he would have a quote for us "soon." At that point we had to spend our time arranging for another company to come out and give us a quote. We were upset at having to waste our time. Finally heard back from Sam's with a quote - but by that time had already decided to go w/ the other contractor we had come in to give us a quote. If Sam's didn't have time to give us a timely quote, they should have told us as such up front instead of wasting our time.
