Description of Work: Did a very through and careful job of trimming and thinning our very gangly flowering pear tree.

Description of Work: Did an assessment of the trees in our yard. Ross was clearly an expert. Offered us a good deal for shaving down a tree, even though we went with someone us who had a better deal. One downside was that it took a long time for them to come to do an assessment because they were backed up.

Description of Work: They injected 2 trees with a treatment for black gloomy scale around the base of the trees. Also did minimal pruning. Very polite and professional.

Description of Work: Did a fair amount of pruning on some difficult trees. Very professional. Only minor complaint was they stacked the brush on top of some plants and shrubs, damaging them. No big deal though.

Description of Work: I had 8 large trees removed and one large tree pruned. Other than a scheduling snafu, everything was fantastic. I will be using Ross in the spring for stump removal and some additional pruning

Description of Work: I had Ross Tree Service look at one of my 80 foot Oak trees because the leaves were slow in coming out and I thought it may be dying. The owner initally thought it could use some growth injections (called Arbor Jet) but asked one of his technicians to take a look and give his opinion. The technician came out, looked at it and said he thought the tree would be fine--just give it some more time for the leaves to fuly develop--He was right. And the firm did not even charge me for looking at it. Good job and I appreciated their honesty--would use them again.

Description of Work: Nothing. I purchased a tree assessment deal with this provider on 9/4. It is 9/11 and they still have not called to confirm one of the 3 requested appointment times or to schedule another mutually agreeable time. Considering asking for a refund.

Description of Work: What they did: Removed 2 very large trees from my fenced in backyard and ground the stumps and major root systems. The trees were very close to my house and had caused some damage to the roofing by rubbing over the years. They were that close. |How did it go? RTS dropped the trees precisely between two fence posts (I had pulled down the fencing panel) avoiding any damage to the home, deck, or fence. One of the trees was nearly 2 feet in diameter at the base! For both tree removal and stump grinding, they quickly scheduled my service, completed the job with all the right, high-tech (and expensive) equipment and still beat estimates from companies with a lo-tech approach. Dan, Justin and the rest of the team were great!

Description of Work: Fertilized trees and treated Ash trees to prevent borers. | |I still don't know what I pre-paid $44 dollars to buy a coupon. No reply to my question to them. Is it deductible from the price? | |My only real concern was that it was a few weeks after I sent back signed agreements before I heard from them.

Description of Work: They removed 5 trees and ground down the stumps. They were very professional and friendly from the start. Dan Ross came out for the estimate, which he gave us that same day. Scheduled the job and they were there a few weeks later and did a great job. Removed and cleaned up all the debris. Would definitely recommend and use them again.
