Description of Work: I bought a deal for $49 for a tree evaluation and they did additional work.

Description of Work: Understood exactly my concerns and provided suggestions on best long-term solution. Arrived on time and completed job per their time estimation. Removed all debris and cleaned up surrounding areas. Needed to go into neighboring yard and were very respectful of their landscaping.

Description of Work: Trimmed two trees in front yard. Both look great. Cost to do that second smaller tree seemed a bit high.

Description of Work: Mr. Ross came out on initial visit on July 2 and provided advise on trees. He said there would be a follow-up. After a time I called the office for the promised follow-up. I received a call from a colleague some time later saying he was in town and could drop by. I told him (not Dan Ross) I had to leave for an appointment by 10:30 AM. He said he could make it prior to that time but he never showed. I called the office again. On July 24 he called and made an appointment for 2:00 PM. He never showed for that appointment. At that point I gave up.

Description of Work: Cut back & shape a large tree

Description of Work: They cut down and removed 4 large trees and two smaller trees, plus removed the stumps on three of trees.

Description of Work: Cut down extremely large oak tree, removed wood and ground stump which was approximately 4 feet in diameter. |Cut down a large oak which had snapped in storm. As is fell it took down a number of small trees and adjoining limbs and branches of trees in its path. This trees was cut down, hauled away and all debris removed.

Description of Work: Trimmed a large tree in back yard and cut down and removed another lg. tree In the front yard. Went very well, no mess, no troubles.

Description of Work: We contracted in fall of 2012 for substantial tree-trimming, shrub-trimming, tree removal, and tree feeding and pruning from Ross Tree Service. I was happy with the work except for some bushes which were trimmed too far. When they did not grow back as predicted, Dan the owner came out, surveyed the work, and replaced the bushes in question. They also honored their contract and replaced some bushes which did not make it through the first year after planting, even though the plants came from a highly reputable nursery. The struggling cherry trees which they pruned and fed now, a year later, look great. I am happy with their work and recommend them.

Description of Work: They came to look at our dogwood, which had been damaged by a neighbor's tree. They gave us good advice---just to leave the tree alone. The man who came was very professional and we trusted what he said. He was right, a year later, and the tree is doing better. We would use Ross Tree service without hesitation again.

Description of Work: A Bradford Pear tree fell on the house overnight during a storm 6-7 August 2011. Our insurance contacted Ross and they came out within a couple of days and cleaned up in one afternoon. They even stayed to trim our Japanese maple. They left the tree stump and it took a couple of weeks to get their stump removal team out but, when they did, they did a good job. I may use their services to plant a Crepe Myrtle in its place. They want to charge $300 for that, tree not included. By the way, insurance paid for most of the tree removal less deductible.

Description of Work: Took down Leyland cypress, raised canopy in front and side of house, chipped/shredded all debris and left in designated mulch pile. Left fireplace sized chunks of cypress as requested.
