RC Home Renovation

I contacted RC Home Renovations to repair the soffit on our front porch. Richard came out to review the work and provided me a quote via email which I agreed to and signed. I was told that the work would be completed on a Saturday (July 17th) which was 11 days away from the date of the signed contract. I received a text around 8am Saturday morning (THE MORNING OF!) stating that they couldn't locate the plywood for the soffit so they have to order it but its not coming in until the following week. I text Richard the following Wednesday asking for an update....no response. I followed up with another text the following Monday...no response. I never heard anything back so I hired someone else to complete the job which is being completed as I type this.

The moment Ramon and Richard walked through my door, I KNEW they were good people, fair and honest. I am very pleased with the work they did, the level of professionalism they displayed and the transformation of my house into a home. They have great ideas and concepts, they work fast, they are precise and clean up very well behind themselves. I have had major renovations done before but not at the level of expertise and professionalism this team displayed. I am greatly satisfied with everything from the time it took to the reasonable pricing. I WILL hire them again in the future.

Experience was very easy and hassle free. Written quote was clear and prompt and comparable to others. Communication with Mr. Chavez and Richard was prompt, professional and to the point. The gentlemen working on the project were very friendly and professional. The space was prepared before work began and cleaned well post work. Looking to hire again for future projects.

I have used RC Home Renovations many times both personally and professionally. I am a Northern VA realtor for over 35 years and have used or referred this company many times. I have NEVER had a complaint. Their work is always perfect. They are punctual and their prices as compared to most are very reasonable! First class contractors!

Very nicely done and finished in time despite they being busy

We were looking to finish the basement. After posting Angie list request, Ramon (RC Homes Owner) contacted us and came to our house for quote. His quote was lower than most of the other contractor and we like the way he explained his plan. We also hired him because he said he works himself in all the projects unlike other contractor just manage and hire people to do the work. As per his promise, Ramon and Richard (his son) were coming everyday until they finish the work. Every day he was asking our feedback regarding the work done and he made the necessary changes based on feedback without any extra cost. Most of the contractor I hired asking additional money if you want to make any changes. Ramon is not like that. He told us couple times that “if my client is not happy with my work than I am not happy”. He truly means that. They finish the work during the timeline they promised. They have very professional team. I would defiantly hire him for any future work and will highly recommend RC homes for any Home Renovation project. Drupad Patel

Bathrooms were done better than we expected! Mr Ramon took the time to helps us with our project, he went to the store with me to buy the materials and also gave us suggestions about and some design tips. He was responsive from day one to the last day. Mr Ramon and his team were very professional, meticulous and made sure that everything was always neat and clean at the end of each work day. His price was reasonable and I would hire him again for another project. I'm attaching before and after photos.

It went better than I expected and I can't believe I am saying that based on my past history with contractors, handymen and remodelers! We were provided a professional, written proposal., they started the job on time, cleaned up each day, workers were courteous and professional, and they finished the project on time and were flexible when issues came up- like needing to change the design. We will be using them again for another remodel and we have already told several of our friends about them.

These guys are great! I would recommend them to anyone looking for anything. They showed up on time. They did the work they said they were going to do. They paid attention to detail like they were fixing their own houses. They always had a smile on their face. I felt like I had family in the house! I cannot say enough about these guys. Just use them! I know I will be using them for my future projects.

This job was completed in less than a full week. All work was very high quality. I was kept in the loop several times when questions arose during construction.

Reviews and ratings seemed favorable and then reached out via Angie mail, no response at alI. I then called the contractor and we spoke. I requested that he come to see scope, and complete quote for the job that can be used for the insurance too. However in explaining to him what I needed and fact I needed a quote to send insurance so he would do the work, he was adamant that he wanted to be paid for the quote first even though I explained to him that the quote would be sent to insurance was so they would pay him directly as I was not being given money to pay him. He was adamant that he wanted to be paid for the quote and I can even check Angies list to see his work it speaks for itself and if I did not want to pay for the quote he would not do it and hang up.

Ramon and his crew are above the rest! He restored my faith in general contractors after having the worst experience ever with one in Colorado. His team was professional, fast, and the quality of work was state-of-the-art. We are so happy with our kitchen/downstairs remodel. Our vision was to turn a dark, closed and dreary kitchen/living room into a bright/open concept and his team hit the mark! Ramon understood we were on a tight budget and offered choices that were budget friendly, beautiful, and never compromised quality. We also had structural issues that were discovered and he made it his top priority to correct any and all safety issues. Our house now feels like a home and we are beyond excited to start making memories as a family. We will definitely have them back to do our master bathroom remodel in a couple months.
