The moving CREW was EXCEPTIONAL - they worked hard from the minute they arrived til the minute they took off the last item from their truck.

They were professional, courteous and most importantly, they were careful with all of our items. The team worked quickly and carefully throughout the move..

I have now used Randall Moving and Storage twice and have been very happy both times. They did a good job, packed everything carefully and worked very quickly (which is good when paying by the hour). I would recommend them to anyone in the Northern Virginia who is looking for a moving company.

From start to finish, our experience with Randall Moving & Storage was outstanding. When my wife and I were looking for a moving company and requested an estimate, the company responded quickly with an in-home assessment, and we had their estimate within a day. Randall M&S was in the middle of three estimates, but we went with them based on (1) our interaction with Randy, (2) the reviews I found on Angie's List, (3) that the company uses only their own 28-foot trucks (which would be more suitable for the private cul-de-sac at our old house and the site of our new house), and (4) our daughter's experience with the company in move from the DC area to Marietta GA in 2013. As the time approached for the packing and move, Susan (the office manager) confirmed the times and schedule. On the first (of two scheduled packing days), the packing crew showed up on time and worked quickly and carefully. Carroll, our crew chief, was with us from start of packing to delivery. (Side note: It turned out hat Carroll was also the crew chief for our daughter's move.) The two 28-foot trucks that would be dedicated to our move were scheduled to load on Thursday, March 5. But that was the day the DC area was forecast for a late winter snow. To keep our delivery on schedule, the company sent an augmented packing crew on the second packing day to finish the packing. They then loaded the trucks that day (Wednesday). By six pm, the trucks were headed back to their warehouse to ride out the snow storm (10 inches of snow) the next day. Carroll and his team left on schedule on Friday morning, and were at our new home in Gainesville GA on Saturday morning. Sixteen thousand pounds were unloaded that day, with everything placed were we wanted it. And, the final cost was very close to the original estimate!! Randall Moving & Storage was a class act with experienced, class people doing the work.

Carroll, the crew head, was terrific and very flexible. They were extremely careful with my items. He was very caring! They truly cared about my happiness!

Let me make this perfectly clear from the get go.... I think you should use Randall Movers for your next move. Having said that, let me tell you why. Randall Movers moved me from Annandale to Arlington Virginia. From the beginning, from my first conversations with both the owner and Susan in the office, they were polite, straight-forward and accommodating. It was obvious they respected their potential clients and wanted the business. My move, while not difficult, was a little shaky in terms of the day I could actually move, and they were more than willing to work with me. They made it clear to me that if I needed to store my possessions overnight, there would be a fee, and it was a lot more reasonable than other services. I told them I would not know until last minute my specifics and they still were willing to work with me, despite it being the end/beginning of the month, a busy time for them. On top of that, the day I gave them to deliver my possessions to my new place, there was a snafu in my closing, and it had to be pushed back another day. Instead of adding to my stress, they merely informed me they would store my items for another night at the same rate as the night before. No fuss. In terms of the crew....what can I say. I suggest you ask for Nate, Carroll and Wilmer. Those were my three guys. Professional, good natured, extremely fast and thorough, they moved me in no time and everything came through in perfect shape. The only thing that I lost was several glasses that I had packed too tight in a box. Literally NOTHING was damaged. The movers were punctual, respectful of both my house and my new condo and all the belongings. They earned their pay, and I would strongly suggest that you will want to tip them afterwards for a job well done. It was a pleasure working with Randall Movers and I would DEFINITELY use them again in the future. I cannot recommend them enough. It is a good feeling knowing that if I need to move again, I am at least certain of who I will use. I think the length and tone of this recommendation speaks for itself. Randall Movers...USE 'EM!!!!

Oh my goodness! This company is wonderful. They came to the house shortly after I requested an estimate. I'd asked three highly rated companies (per Fairfax county's buying guide) to provide estimates. This company was the lowest cost. They arrived slightly late on the morning of the move but were the most professional team I've ever used (moved 4 times). Pleasant, professional, quick, clean. Everything you'd want. They were the same on the MD end of the move. They finished by walking me through the house in case I wanted anything shifted or moved to another floor. They were so nice to work with. Then, the cost was lower than the estimate and it was finished exactly in the timeframe they promised.. The experience could not have been better.

Purchased the coupon thinking my daughter was moving to a new apartment. She changed her plans. I had several dealings with Randall Moving and Storage via email and over the phone. They were very professional and helpful. Should we need moving services in the future I'd definitely go back to Randall. I inadvertently hit the wrong button the original review resulting in an incorrect grade. It is not updated. The folks at Randall were great to work with. I am sorry that my error may have negatively impacted their rating...certainly not my intent.

The moving was smooth. The salesperson was nice and professional. We initially went with a cheaper option, however, they were not organized so we canceled that reservation and went with Randall. They only issue was that the salesperson underestimated the size of the move. However, I had that feeling and he was willing to come back and re-estimate, but I had to cancel the appointment for personal reasons and we never re-scheduled the appointment. The day of the move, the crew was able to fit all in one truck and husband and I took some boxes in our cars. Somehow, they made it fit in 1 truck. They took apart some furniture so it would take less space in the truck. The crew made me feel that they cared about us and my furniture/stuff. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

I referred Randall moving to a friend to store there furniture and household items for two months then delivered items to Delaware. They could not have been happier. They were courteous, caring and very professional. This family has moved many time and Randall moving was by far the best move they have ever used. I usually don't like to refer companies but this ones a winner. Thanks Randall

We had an outstanding crew of four gentlemen that worked their way through our home packing and organizing our belongings. The crew was early and worked as a team from the time they arrived until the time they left. They could not have done a better job. Randy Smith was terrific about answering questions and ensuring we were well served. Dana Clark met with us at our house and was able to answer all our questions and ensure all the services we needed were there for us. Thank you!

The truck pulled up right on time, and the gentlemen introduced themselves. We did a walk through and determined what would be removed first. Because there weren't many items it went quickly. It seems the standard for movers is a minimum of four hours, even if they are done in much less time. Clarence and Bennie were very careful of glass, took great care wrapping my items, and protected the walls, floors, and doorways. They were very polite and thoughtful, leaving my fridge in the driveway so I could clean it before they took it inside. I haven't moved in 20 years, but when we are ready to do it again I will call on Randall Moving & Storage!

We were very pleased. They were true to their price estimate. They were also prompt and courteous and did the job very well. They were one of the few companies that we could actually get us to move us in June because everybody else was already booked out for month-and-a-half or two months. The price wasn't the cheapest but they did a good job.

The guy came out and gave me an estimate, which was a little cheaper than the others. He was not pushy at all. It was also a short notice move, on a Saturday. They had no problems with scheduling it. Moving day, they showed up right on time, went to every room in the house with EVERY GUY helping in the move, even the guy that stayed on the truck packing everything. They started off, (slow I thought, but they were being careful, which I would have skipped and broken a lot of stuff) wrapping everything, asking questions every time anything was in question. These guys laughed, talked acting like moving this 300 lb furniture was fun strapped to their back going downstairs. Not a wall was scratched, no furniture was nicked. They even removed some of the old dust that used to be on the furniture. I would have taken a break after every trip up and down the stairs and taken 2 days to pack, these guys were like ants, up and down the steps announcing, "coming down" and they were done in NO TIME! Up on arrival at the new house, I would have pulled into the driveway, to make the move a shorter trip. No, they parked in the street, which required them to walk up an incline to get to the house. I thought it will take them longer, more about this later. They brought everything inside, waited on the wife to make up her mind where she wanted it. Placed it where she wanted it and went back to get more. Then she wanted it moved 2 inches to the left or right, which they gladly did with no problem. I would have told her to move it herself, or that is where you said you wanted it. They moved it 2 inches to the left and asked was that good. After everything was put inside and unwrapped, they once again asked, is there anything else you want or needs to be moved somewhere else? Which brings me to my last point, thinking that they were trying to waste time, run up the clock, longer walks take longer time, more money for them. They came in under the estimated time and did charged me LESS than the estimate. You cannot beat that. So I GLADLY tipped each guy. They did a GREAT and excellent job all around, will hire them again and recommend them to ANYONE who moves. U-Haul might be cheaper in the beginning, but, how many hours will it take you to pack, load and unload, and how much of your stuff is broken? They MOVED me in LESS than 1/2 of a day with nothing broken. These guys are work hogs! I can't say thank you enough!

The moving company came out and gave us an estimate, we scheduled the date of the move, they really flew with packing stuff up and really wrapped the fine china and glass very well. The move was quick and painless thanks to Randall Moving Company!

They were careful with everything and made sure they put everything in the places we wanted it. They were great and made this our best move ever!

These movers are careful, patient, & professional. They know what to do & how to do it even when it comes to getting big things up small stairways.

It went very well and could have so easily gone poorly! What a relief!

Moving is never easy and I've moved as if I were an Army brat but this was definitely the most painless ever. I have recommended them to family members without hesitation.

They had an accurate estimate and the movers were great guys and were very helpful and accommodating. The only thing I didn't like about them was that they weren't good on communicating before the move and I had issues with confirming that they actually were going to show up. I would recommend them and I think their prices are competitive and they're as good as the more expensive moving companies out there.

Each time I have used Randall Movers the staff has been on time and performed the job in a very professsional manner. Furniture has been protected and I have never had any damage to contents or property. They have always been extremely careful and have went the little bit extra in many cases to insure the job was done properly. The staff have been courteous in all the times I have contracted them.

They provide a great service. They are customer orientated and they took great care of my things during the move.

The job was performed by a three worker crew. One of the worker's was extremely rude. The owner Randy removed the hostile worker. They tend to talk back and they man-handled items during the move. I have used them three times on the past year. This pattern of talking back, man-handling, and breakage seems to be continuing.

THEY WERE BASICALLY PRETTY GOOD AND I WOULD PROBABLY USE THEM AGAIN.
