Randall Moving & Storage

I would grade them the highest marks for everything! I would recommend them to any person that needed moving help. I was treated respectfully as a senior citizen and without condescension by every employee. They did everything I asked and it was a very pleasant experience.

Great! Movers immediately went to work and took extra steps at every opportunity to protect the furniture, the floors and the walls. Quick, efficient and very pleasant group of movers.

Move was excellent. Team was professional. No damage or loss. Hate moving, but love Randall's. We looked at several companies, and Randall's was the only one to send out a pre-move surveyor. Final price was a little more than we wanted, but you get what you pay for. After 20+ years of military moves by the lowest bidder, this was a new level of service.

Carroll and his crew were excellent on both ends of the move.

Everything went well in our minds as this was a stressful time for us and everything was done as they stated and helped to relieve some of our stress. The only gripe that we had was that there was minor damage done to each property (house itself, not our packed belongings). Nothing that required any further action on their part.

Very well, took a long time because of elevator availability, but that wasn't the movers' fault.

Dana arrived on time for his in home estimate. He explained the process and did a thorough walk through. He was professional throughout and followed up later to see if we had any questions after we received the estimate from them.

This moving company is the best A++++. Randall Moving & Storage is extremely dedicated in all they do. The office staff was wonderful to work with. They were accommodating and efficient. And their experienced movers were so careful and made the job look easy. After six months storage at their facility, all my furniture arrived in perfect condition. Even the piano was in tune.

Perfect...very friendly and professional. Loved the music played to keep the move light and playful but there was no lolly-gagging...we hired 10 men and it took 4 trucks. They were all introduced themselves and we're polite the ENTIRE time. Nothing was damaged. It took 9 hours start to finish. They were the cheapest by far out of the quotes I got. I've already recommended them to 2 friends that are moving soon and they both said the the quote was definitely the best. I was even impressed they ate lunch in the truck, took 30min. and then right back to work. You can't go wrong with Randall.

Given the number of stairs, I thought the move went very well. All four guys were extremely friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. I also noticed the camaraderie between them--Clarence, Leon, Nate, and George obviously worked well as a team. While Randall Moving was slightly above my budget, I was happy to pay a bit extra for such conscientious movers. They even helped me figure out where to place the furniture in my new home! (I'm not so great at space-planning.) I would definitely use their services again and will surely recommend them to friends.

Wonderfully - the second time we've used them and went just as well as the first

The company called ahead of time to ensure their services were still needed. Very polite and professional interaction via telephone. Movers showed up on time, very polite, enthusiastic, and most importantly energetic. Treated our household items as if they were their own. Answered all questions and came up with solutions to packing some heavy and difficult items as well as fragile items. Estimate provided by telephone was spot on. Would definitely recommend them to anyone and would use them again if need arises.

The move took a total of about five hours and involved two stops after the household goods were picked up.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Randall. They were extremely responsive and accommodating from the time we made initial contact through final billing post-move. We contacted them only about 2 weeks prior to our preferred move date, and while none of the other companies we contacted were able to accommodate us, Randall made it happen. Susan was a pleasure to deal with in the office getting everything scheduled, and our crew was fantastic. Nate, Clarence and Hector worked tirelessly getting us all packed up, then showed up right on time the next day to complete the move. They were professional, courteous, and super efficient -- hardly stopping for lunch even when we attempted to lure them away from box-**** with pizza. Everything was delivered to our new home (and reassembled, where necessary) in exactly the rooms we requested, making for an orderly unpack. We don't plan to move again anytime soon (because moving is second only to death, IMO), but I'll surely be recommending Randall to anyone who asks. Honest, hard-working, and reasonably priced -- what more can you ask for in a moving company?

They showed up 2 hours after scheduled time due to another job they had. I used this company because there was a coupon for 549 for 4 hours but it ended up taking 10 because they were slow so still had to pay over $1000.

The three man team Nate, Clarence and Ron showed up on time and emptied my house in record time. They wrapped up everything, packed all my hanging clothes and my TV. Even took my flower pots full of flowers. I was completely moved in 3.5 hours. Everything arrived safely, the guys were professional and friendly. Moving isn't easy but they made it bearable.

Moving Team: Carroll, Benny and George did a great job moving our belongings (second time in 6 months) in a careful and time efficient way. I made it clear that I wanted to stay within the 4 hours we had budgeted for and they did, and respectfully.

It went absolutely great! They were completely meticulous and careful with my belongings -- wrapped everything before moving. I was touched to receive a thank-you note from their office after the job was done. I highly recommend this company to everyone.

Excellent experience!!! I can't say enough wonderful things about this company. Moving a household is always anxiety provoking, but this company made the move effortless. They were so easy to work with. My schedule had changed a few times but Susan and Randy always worked to give us the best possible outcome. Everything was expertly and professionally packed, wrapped and gently moved to the new location. Absolutely nothing was broken or missing. It was amazing. I had so many people telling me horror stories about their moving experiences with other moving companies but my experience could not have been any smoother. I was told Randall Moving would send 4 strong, reliable men to the house because I was worried about large pieces of very heavy furniture, but they picked them up and moved them like they weighed nothing. I have never seen anything like it. They had equipment to expertly protect the furniture and themselves from harm. The men worked tirelessly without taking breaks for more than 10 hours. They were friendly, courteous and treated my belongings like they were their own family heirlooms. It was entertaining to just sit back and watch the well orchestrated event. They reassembled the belongings exactly where I asked them to place them without complaining regardless of how many times I changed my mind! As far as the business end of the transaction, the trucks arrived in a timely manner, the invoice was well estimated, there were no discrepancies in any detail and all of my possessions arrived in the same condition they left the other house. Amazing....I have never seen another company such as this. They are a one in a million company with which to do business. If I should ever need a moving company for any reason again, I will absolutely chose no other company other than Randall Moving and Storage.

It went well. A lot of care went into making sure items were protected. Good, friendly team. They did take breaks that I did pay for.

Fantastic. The movers were helpful; clean; and made the process totally enjoyable.

I called to request an estimate to move and store my 1 BR apartment while restoration repairs would be conducted. I received one email saying they would like the work, can they call. I gave my number, and did not receive a call back. Then I emailed again, and said if I don't hear back I presume you do not want the work. Following two more phone calls from them, they set up a time a week and a half later to come and do an estimate. They did not show up. they did not call. I even took the time off of work to wait for them to not show up. Not worth your time. UPDATE 1/28/2016: Following posting of this review, the company called me to claim that the reason they did not show up is that the owners 10 y.o., beloved dog had died that week, which completely put the entire company into a tailspin. She claimed that all appointments were supposed to have been rescheduled that week, but I, for some reason was not on the schedule, so it didn't happen. I only tell the story, because they told me, and as a consumer, you may want to know why they didn't show up. The company then contacted Angie's List, claiming that this review was not for their company, that I chose the wrong one in Angie's list's database (I confirmed that this is not the case). The owner has contacted me now, as well, apologizing and offering to try and make it up to me. I've raised the rating a little, given that they have at least noticed that they screwed up. But it really has taken a bad review on Angie's List for them to acknowledge that they didn't show up, or reschedule.

The movers were professional, efficient and friendly. Move was completed without any issues. Very pleased with the service... would definitely use them again.

We checked out innumerable moving companies online and interviewed / got estimates from three. While the other two were good, Randall was a hands-down winner. Mr. Randall himself did the estimate, and his professional and courteous demeanor led us to give them the business on the spot. The quote was very reasonable and Mr. Randall showed that the understood and respected our needs. (By the way, one cool little item which helped make the decision easier was free use of wardrobe boxes, something the others charged for. Just a little thing, but everything helps!) The moving day experience could not have gone better. The crew showed up on time and went straight to it. A few things stand out: * These guys were pros who knew exactly what they were doing -- these weren't day laborers. * They weren't just exceptionally professional and courteous, they were downright cheerful. They enjoyed each others' company and it was infectious, making a potentially stressful day for us actually fun. And not a single inappropriate word or comment passed their lips. * Nothing was broken -- a first for us. To be clear about the rate, we totally and completely packed everything in the house, so all the guys had to do was load, transport, and unload. But the rate was still very competitive. More than that, it was a great experience. I couldn't recommend Randall Moving more enthusiastically.

When I had called to schedule the service I was so impressed with the customer service over the phone that I told a friend to use the same company. When I called, I informed them that I work nights and would not be home until 8am, which I was told that it would be fine, the movers would be there between 8am and 10am. By 10am the movers had never arrived, I called the company and was told that they came to my house but that I didn't answer the door so they went on to their next appointment. They came to my house at 745am, knowing that I was not going to be home yet. I was told that they could not come back to the house until 2pm. What was I suppose to do, being up all night, all of my belongings are packed and I have my dog!! I was told, "You should just take a nap" by the dispatcher. I was so angry. Then 2pm came and went and still no movers! When I called the company, they told me that they couldn't find the guys. They didn't come to the house until 4pm, I had paid for 4 hours of work so I knew it was going to be a long evening. When the movers arrived they were upset because they did not know that it was a whole apartment. They had no tools to take apart any of my furniture. At one point I caught them taking the screen off the window to get my bed frame out with out my permission of my rented apartment. I asked them several times to be careful with my dinning room table (my one really nice piece of furniture) while they were trying to get it through the front door. They kept saying "we got this" when I told them to stop because they were scratching the top. I worked overtime to afford movers to make my move as easy as possible and it ended up being one of the worst days ever!!! At the end of it the mover guy asked my if I was going to give them a bad review!?!? I couldn't believe it. Do not use this company!
