Pinedo did a fabulous job refacing my kitchen cabinets. They were a pleasure to work with. Always pleasant, very professional and definitely patient as I kept changing my mind on the selections! I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to use them again for future projects!

He answered all of my questions and even provided insightful input. Scheduling was very easy to and there was no shift in the timeline. His eye for quality and precision are unmatched. The price was extremely reasonable for the quality that I received. Paulo was great! Very prompt and responsive. He also left the kitchen clean which im seeing many work people today do not do. We needed old maple kitchen cabinets restored. They were in good condition and good quality, but had about 40 years of dirt and grime on them. He was able to get them looking almost brand new within one day! Much cheaper than buying new cabintes of a similar quality or refacing. I woukd definitly hire him again.

Paulo did a great job on our 15-year-old cabinets. He touched up all of the worn spots and scratches so the cabinets look practically brand-new. We are so glad we had it done. Well worth it!

We could not have been more pleased with the work done by Paulo and his team (Herman) at Kitchen Tune-Up. It was a good experience from start to finish. They had timely and effective communication, were prompt on their estimate, were honest in what needed to be done and were fair on the cost to do it. The quality of the work was excellent as well. We had solid cabinet base, but didn't like the color. Paulo and his team evaluated what needed to be done and made it look like new, exactly how we wanted it. You'd think they were new cabinets. You can tell that Paulo has a genuine interest in his customers and an equally important focus on the quality of work done. He (and his team) are friendly and genuinely want to ensure you're pleased with the work they do. Paulo was incredible, truly a pleasure to work with. He was very helpful answering all our questions and giving recommendations without any pressure or trying to upsell. Herman is an excellent carpenter. He did a great job with changing a cabinet into drawers and making 4 small drawers into 2 large drawers that are much more useable. My kitchen looks brand new in 1 week. I would highly recommend Kitchen Tune-Up. I love my new kitchen!!!

Paulo is true pleasure to work with. Based on my needs, he suggested that I don't need a cabinet replacement but just some finishing. I really liked that as he not only saved me some $$$ but made the kitchen look better with his artistry. He is a master at refurbishing cabinets. His partner Herman also did an amazing job. Paleo was beyond a pleasure. He truly knows but more importantly believes in the product. His enthusiasm is infectious but more important he cares about you. Look I am the most skeptical person I know and if paleo can win me over you would be a fool not to choose this service. We consider home depot and this was 30 percent cheaper. You will not be disappointed.

Superb experience! Paulo & Herman, the master carpenter, are first-rate professionals, willing and patient listeners, very easy to work with. Paulo’s business ethic is all about customer satisfaction & quality workmanship. No up-selling or pressure. He explains everything, took as as long as needed to address all my questions/issues. He is the real deal! Our 28 year old kitchen cabinets were looking mighty ugly. What to do – replace or refresh? We looked into both options and decided that we preferred to give our existing cabinets, which have served us well, a “like new” look – refacing, new doors, new shelves where needed, etc. We met with Paulo and Herman who confirmed that our cabinet boxes were in good condition. Nonetheless I worried about the 3 cabinets above the range area as they had begun to pull away from the wall, possibly compromising the integrity of the cabinet boxes. Paulo advised that if these 3 had been compromised in some way, Herman would build new cabinet boxes. Turned out all was indeed well. Herman took down these cabinets and noticed they had not been properly installed in the first place. He re-installed, reinforced, & stabilized them. Bottom line: The end result is wonderful! Herman’s work is par excellence! Our kitchen cabinets look brand new. Herman also graciously installed the door/drawer knobs and new range hood we purchased. And Paulo reconditioned/tuned-up the wood trim surrounding our countertops. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Paulo came in and saw that this was a rental house and looked at the cabinets and said no don't reface them let me tune them up. He made them look like new for a fraction of the cost of re-facing cabinets. He was prompt, professional and very helpful. They really look great now. Definitely would highly recommend the tune up process to anyone who wants to improve the look of their cabinets. Work was done in one day with no mess to clean up.

Excellent experience. We refaced old kitchen cabinets and installed pull-out drawers. We also had Herman (the carpenter) build a few new cabinets, and fix others. Both Paulo and Herman were a pleasure to work with, and were always punctual and pleasant. They had helpful suggestions for some of the work, and completed the job on time and budget. Herman was very neat while working and cleaned up after each day. They are true professionals, and we would use them again without hesitation.

Once we decided to go with Kitchen Tune-Up Paulo returned with Herman (the carpenter who did the work) to measure and finalize the contract. Herman did a fantastic job. This company was fantastic! My kitchen oak cabinets were 29 years old and outdated. I wanted a lighter look for my kitchen, but not want the cost of new cabinets. Paulo assured me that my kitchen would look brand me and to my delight, it does. Herman, the carpenter, was very exacting in his work and produced a beautiful product. Top notch pros! The photos speak for themselves! We are extremely pleased with our new kitchen - the cabinets look new! We met with Paulo to discuss our options, our kitchen cabinets are over 40+ years old and looked outdated. We did not want to get new cabinets because our existing cabinet boxes were still in good condition. Paulo gave us a good assessment of what he could do for us, was very responsive, courteous and to the point. Since we chose refacing, we saved about 50-60% over the cost of new cabinets, way better than we had imagined. We selected Kitchen Tune Up because their reviews were excellent, the price was fair, and Paulo did not try to pressure us. The Carpenter performed fantastic work, a master at his craft with the cabinets and refacing. I would definitely hire Kitchen Tune up to do work for us in the future.

I originally spoke with Paul back in Sep 2016 to get an idea of what it would take to replace all my kitchen cabinet doors and drawers. My existing cabinets were in excellent condition but I wasn’t digging the “shaker” style doors and drawers that seem to be found in most homes these days. Paul made himself available in the evening to take a look at my kitchen and offered up several re-facing and replacement options based on my preferred style and quality; I never once felt I was getting a sales pitch or being pressured to choose a particular option. In fact, it was just the opposite. Paul was extremely forthcoming with the pros, cons, and honest comparison between the different options. During our conversation it became apparent very quickly that Paul is passionate about his vocation, lives for attention to detail, and is personally fulfilled by true customer satisfaction. Having no idea what to expect cost-wise for this type of renovation, I found Paul’s on the spot estimate to be a little more than I was hoping – although totally within reason -- but still considerably less than the estimate I received from one of the “big box” stores. I decided the time wasn't right for this project given the money was better spent elsewhere. Paul totally understood, in no way pressured me to reconsider or dismissed by hesitation. I let Paul know I had every intention of going forward with this project at future time and had absolutely no desire to solicit additional quotes; my 30-minute conversation with him was enough to know he would be my guy. By fall 2017 I was ready to proceed with the project and again reached out to Paul. He immediately remembered our conversation from the prior year and offered to honor the original quote with a very minimum and totally understandable price adjustment. Paul and his extremely talented carpenter Herman stopped by one evening to finalize the measurements and offer their insight and suggestions on color and some other options. The cabinet doors and drawers arrived on time and Herman promptly scheduled the installation. Herman is a true craftsman who was nothing but professional, pleasant to work with, and cleaned up as if my house was his own. Paul and Herman’s patience and attention to detail are evident in their work and I’m more than pleased how everything turned out. Go with Kitchen Tune-Up, you won't regret it.

We are extremely pleased with the makeover of our kitchen. Paulo was extremely helpful from the initial selection process (no pressure tactics) to the completion of this project and kept in contact throughout. Herman was professional and very meticulous. We were very impressed with the amount of work that Herman was able to complete in a short amount of time. We saved thousands by opting to reface our cabinets instead of replacing them. Better than we had hoped for. We don't know anyone that has actually done a refacing / re-dooring before and we were a bit skeptical but, not anymore. We feel we saved about 40 to 50% over the cost of new cabinets.
