Wonderful, Scott came through for me when another company I hired never showed up or responded to calls. Job was done quickly and professionally.

Guys was nice, but the estimate was high so we decided to pass.

Scott's team did an excellent job and were very easy to work with. The foreman even met me at Lowe's to help pick out the new doors and trim. When our closing was delayed, they remained flexible and started as soon as we closed. They were patient as we changed and added to the scope of work and the finished product is great. Our new house looks beautiful!

It was a professional job well done

I received within two days an estimate of the costs to all needs which I found to be very reasonable considering the size and peak heights of my home. They started work the same week I approved the estimate. The crew started on time and were very professional and friendly. I was most pleased from start to finish, upon Scott taking my call for an estimate to their final cleanup. I would hire them and recommend them to all.

Very well. The painters were very respectful. Came, got right to work and worked quickly and efficiently. When I picked a bad color they were great about finding exactly what I wanted and changing it.

They did a great job and worked real hard to make everything perfect. Had it done in three stages so it took three full days with 3 painters each day. The painters and Scott are great to work with and completed everything on time and on schedule. They will definitely be getting my future painting projects

Patriot Painting did a great job. Scott was extremely helpful and even accommodated my request to move the scheduled date a week earlier. The work was completed on time and with great quality.

They arrive on time and worked steadily for several hours. They repaired screw pops, nail holes and cracks in the ceiling and walls. Two coats of paint were applied to all walls and most ceilings (as needed). They taped and removed any hardware before painting. They cleaned each room as it was finished. I am very pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again. Scott (the owner) gives reasonable estimates and checks on his workers everyday.

Excellent work painting foyer entry area of house with over 20 foot ceiling. The painter Rudy was on time and dose excellent work and I'm recommending Priority Painting and especially the painter Rudy.

The owner proved a very reasonable price and showed up at the beginning of everyday to review what had been done and talk with me about the progression of the job. Adjustments and even corrections - I had chosen an incorrect paint color that had to be redone - where not a problem.. I personally have not worked with a more professional contractor who takes great pride in the work he does and the satisfaction of the customer is truly his top concern. Wiill definitely hire him again.

Scott and his crew did an excellent job. He was quick in coming over to give us an estimate (the next day). The estimate was very reasonable. We were out of town when they came in to paint but came home to a beautiful house. They moved the furniture out of the way to paint and returned it to its rightful place. They removed the wall hangings (pictures, mirrors, etc.). We asked that they did not replace them on the walls as we were moving. They stacked them neatly out of the way.

They were professional. The paint store made a mistake with the color and Patriot Painting corrected it quickly. Small corrections were also made quickly and to our specifications. We are extremely pleased with the kitchen. We would hire them again.

Called over a week ago for a quote on inside and outside painting after reading these great reviews. I left a voicemail. Never received a call back.

Over the years, my husband and I have accumulated a list of improvements and repairs we wished to make to our home. However, as the list grew we realized we would never have the time to do them all ourselves. Therefore, we decided to have the larger jobs on our list which we really wanted done as soon as possible (interior painting, replace wood paneling with drywall, repair/replace some doors) performed by a contractor. After reading the Angie List reviews, I contacted Scott Runkle, the owner of Patriot Painting. Scott came by on a Friday to gather information to develop a bid. As we walked through the house and I went over the list of jobs with Scott, he appeared to have a good grasp of the job scope. We appreciated his advice on the type of paint and some of the improvements/repairs we wanted. I asked Scott to break estimate for the various jobs work down into parts (painting, replacing wood paneling with drywall, crown molding, etc.) in case the cost was more than we could afford. Scott said this would not be a problem, but getting the actual estimate took 8 days (Scott had to have someone else come by to develop the estimate for the carpentry work involved). In the end, Scott’s proposal was comprehensive, the work would take six days, and priced such that all our jobs could be completed within out budget. We accepted the bid, and Scott and Johnny (the project manager) showed up and went right to work the following Monday. Johnny updated me every step of the way, and never hesitated to explain and show me what he was doing. Johnny did the carpentry work. The decorative molding shadow boxes he made in the dining room are exceptional. All of the painters were very professional and conscientious. Everyone did a great job, they worked cleanly during the job and the cleanup at the end was good. All the work was completed in six days and I could not have been more pleased. I found Scott very easy to work with and was very responsive to any questions or emails. He came daily to check on the job. Scott confirmed that he does not take any money up front in advance of the job, which is quite a departure from normal industry practice. The final price for everything was exactly what was estimated. Patriot Painters did a superior job all around! I highly recommend their services and have no qualms whatsoever in hiring Patriot Painters for any additional work in the future, whether it be carpentry repair or painting.

First of all I only use Patriot Painting for all my repair and painting needs. Scott's crew shows up on time and works hard to complete a quality job. I've been through other companies over the years and no-one has the personal service and quality. They are accommodating to add ons and offer reasonable solutions to any issue. Whenever my friends or clients are looking for a painter I always recommend Patriot Painting!

Went great. They were very responsive and paid attention to the details. Cleaned the foundation wall with wire brush, rather than powerwash - that was hard work! Did a great job, would use them again. And didn't ask for a deposit up front!

We are very pleased with the whole process from initial discussions through the final results, including the cost. Scott, the owner, is very straightforward and easy to communicate with, as being able to bring his experience in the painting business to bear. We discussed typed of paint or stain for the various surfaces and the preparation. The siding was something we approached carefully. Scott even brought a paint company rep out to help us decide exactly how to proceed. The careful, systematic way he went about it made me very comfortable. No pressure, just good discussion before the final decisions were made. Also, in addition to Scott, his other painters, Angel, John, and Rudy, did a great job, that is, very neat, careful, and efficient - clearly very skilled - and were also very just plain nice to work with. They were courteous, friendly, and pleasant to have around, in addition to their skills. No muss, no fuss and no mess. I don't think they had any paint drips anywhere, no trash, and were careful of the existing windows, doors and siding, as well as the planting around the house. The weather was not good during a lot of the time they were doing the job, but they did what made sense and did not try to push past that. I liked the fact that Scott was not in a big rush to get his check. In fact, he waited a couple of days after they were finished before coming by to get paid. That gave us time to look at the job, which of course was great. He had reason to be confident of the results, so no rush was needed. That also says to me that he has a good solid business. In summary, I was pleased with the process, people, results, and price. I will be recommending him to anyone in the neighborhood who needs painting done.

Scott was great to work with and his crew was awesome! They had quite a task involving repairing and painting our walls and extremely high ceilings. The guys took their time and everything looks absolutely terrific. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We scheduled an estimate directly with the company. Scott stopped by ahead of schedule since he was in the neighborhood. We had received estimates from 2 different vendors late last year and Patriot's was very fair. Work was scheduled & started the same week. The 2 man crew arrived promptly at 7:30 AM and worked the entire day for 5 days . They were exceptionally professional and considerate of our home and yard. They communicated frequently regarding their finding & opinions related to additional wood replacement. The work was well done and made the house look brand new. Scott stopped by frequently to check the work and progress. We will definitely use them again for future inside projects.

Extremely professional from first phone call about estimate to finished project, All rooms were totally protected by plastic and walls and floors where cleaned up after sanded and painted. The professionalism of the painters was excellent and very pleased with the job and performance. Highly recommend them to anyone in the area of Prince William County and beyond. I would give them an A+.

The team arrived on-time. They completed all work exactly as planned and even completed trim work that I overlooked. Additionally, they went above and beyond and repaired rotten garage door sections before completing the paint work. This saved me from having to replace the door.
