Patriot Painting

Description of Work: Patriot Painting power washed then stained our upper and lower decks as well as replaced a rotting board and nailing in loose boards. We were really pleased with the work on first glance, but once the paint dried and we were able to take a closer look, we saw that the stain must have been applied as a spray because it was coating lots of things that should not have been stained. There was stain spray all over the siding of our house, the screen doors, the AC unit, the bushes lining our deck, our garden hose, our rock path, and my toddler's slide set. I was very disappointed that they didn't take care not to get paint everywhere.

Preparations included caulking, scraping loose paint and sanding, spot priming bare wood. | |Scott Runkle, the owner, was good to work with. Came over to give me an estimate and promptly sent me a clear and percise discription of the work to be done and itemized the price. His crew did everything agreed to. The were great - moved everything off the deck and returned a few days after painting the deck to put everything back on it. Also did a good job painting all the house trim. Never disturbed any plantings and never left any type of mess. |I have already highly recommended Patriot Painting to others. I would definitely hire them again. Very professional and proficient.

Description of Work: Overall happy with painting and wood replacement. 2 man crew came at scheduled time. Did not know they were supposed to replace wood around garage door. contacted owner and all work completed. Crew left in a hurry and didn't clean up. Nails left on driveway.

Description of Work: Patriot Painting took our job on at the last minute. Due were trying to get work done before putting our house up for sale. They squeezed us in their schedule. They painted crown molding and trim in the living room, kitchen, dining room, master bedroom, and they also painted multiple window trims, a bathroom, a bedroom, and a stairwell with previous damage from wall paper removal. They were punctual, professional and did not waste any time. They also made us feel comfortable with projects that were being done. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone. They did an excellent job!

Description of Work: We had them paint several hallways, the nursery, and a guest room. We got several bids and they were in the middle of the price range. They did a very good job, and we've referred them to several people who have also had positive experiences.

Description of Work: I contaacted Scott Runckle of Patriot Painters through Angies List to ompletely renovate the interior and exterior of my parents home that would eventually be put up for sale. Scott was the first painting professional to respond. He gave me an estimate within several days of initial contact. He is most professionaly and his workers did an excellent job. I needed his advice about paint and renovation and repair. Sadly, we had some vandelism during the painting process. Scott handled the problem with ease and fixed broken windows and doors. Scott ev en came back several months later when a home inspector needed some windows to be freed. I want to give Scott Runckle and Patriot Painters my highest recommendation. Description of Work: I called Scott yesterday after reading his reviews on Angie's List. When I spoke with him he stated he didn't know when he would be able to come out. Today (the following day of our first conversation) Scott called me, saying he couldn't understand my message yesterday. When I told him he spoke with me he said he could come out today at 5:00pm to give me an estimate. I rushed to get home on time (leaving a computer issue at work). I arrived at 4:55 and waited for Scott until 5:30pm. I finally called him and there was no answer on his cell phone. I waited another 5-10 minutes and called again. Scott answered his phone and asked me how I was. When I told him I would be better if he had called and told me he was going to be late, he said that he was in Manassas and to be honest forgot about our appt. Did I still want him to come out? I told him no, it wasn't necessary to which he replied "Okay". As a business manager/owner I found his demeanor unprofessional. Never was there an I'm so sorry, which would have been the difference between wanting to go further with his company.

Description of Work: Patriot Painting did a beautiful job getting the interior and exterior of my house in tip top shape. Outside, they replaced quite a bit of rotted wood , powerwashed my siding and deck, painted the trim & railing, and sealed the deck. Inside, they painted all walls, closets, doors, trim and kitchen cabinet doors. They were prompt, tidy and professional. At the end of each day, they packed their supplies away neatly so my family could move around easily. I have already had multiple compliments from family, friends and neighbors and would definitely use them again. They were not the cheapest estimate I received (came right in the middle at about what I was expecting) but their quality work is excellent!
