Review for NVB Contracting LLC of Manassas, Virginia. Jim H, Fredericksburg, VA. NVB Contracting LLC of Manassas Virginia, was working in our neighborhood in December 2018 and were offering a free inspection of our roof for wind/hail damage from a storm that passed directly over our subdivision. It was discovered that we did have damage that needed attention. We met with Raleigh L.; Jeremy T. and Dontaye W. of NVB, to discuss the many options and required actions to replace the roof. Although we met with each them throughout the process, Raleigh L was the liaison for project coordination. Dontaye, NVB Project manager and QC visited the work location routinely to observe the work and to ensure that safety standards were met. The roofing crew arrived on - time each work day ready to complete the tasks scheduled. The work site was left clean and unused roofing materials were safely stowed for the next work day. The crew was professional and courteous throughout the entire project. NVB completed the project per contract and we are extremely satisfied.

After the great experience our son and daughter-in-law had with NVB Contracting for their roof replacement, we decided to call them to inspect our roof. We were not disappointed! Jeremy and Kevin identified storm damage on our roof and guided us through the process of filing a claim with our insurance company. They made sure to be present when the insurance company adjuster inspected the roof, which was a big help to ensure all relevant damage was covered. They explained all our roof replacement options up front and the work was done promptly after the insurance adjustment was issued. They also promptly addressed questions we had and did a very professional job. We have been very pleased with the quality of the work and the great customer service we received. We needed a new roof, and Jeremy from NVB Contracting walked us through the whole process. We had a better understanding of the different options that were available and the benefits of each. It was a seamless transaction and once the the project began, it was finished days.

With all the severe storms this year, I noticed that many people in the area have been getting their roofs done. So, with all that demand, I assumed that getting someone to address our roof in a timely fashion (before any further damage could occur) would be difficult at best. But after receiving a referral from a friend, I gave NVB a call. They came out promptly, handled everything with my insurance company and have hit all the dates for delivering materials and installation. Jeremy has been very responsive and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

NVB is the best. Our small problem turned out to be big. Their inspection of our wind damage revealed significant hail damage from past storms. NVB navigated us through all the steps with agencies, insurance and lien holders in order to get our entire roof, wrap, and gutter systems replaced. Eric was helpful and accessible at every step, and listened to our concerns. The roofers were amazing. I wish I had their energy. They completed the whole roof, plus clean-up, in one day. Wow. I could not recommend NVB more highly.

Very pleased with NVB Contracting overall. We called them based on a referral from a neighbor who had an excellent experience with them. NVB helped us work with our insurance company, met the adjuster at our house and ensured that he saw the hail and wind damage that they had found, and agreed to do the repair work for the compensation our insurance company decided on. They took photos of everything before they did the work. The process of selecting our new shingles and other materials was very easy, and I understand from friends in the business that we got quality materials. When the work was completed it was done well. The only trouble we had was that since they are very busy, it was hard to get the work scheduled, and they didn't show up when we expected. But the work got done, and they were very professional, and cleaned up so well that messes they didn't even make got cleaned up! We also added gutter guards, and they did a repair of a vent in our attic. We are very pleased.

This company blew me away! and I'm an old cynic. I've never worked with any home repair company that even came close to this one. I had roof damage in March of this year due to very high winds. First I called my insurance company. They came right out and a week later I had an estimate of what they would cover for a new roof and other minor damages. I found NVB thru Angie's List and after reading reviews and narrowing my choices, (I like to go with smaller family owned businesses.), I called them and two others. One company never called me back, one said they could come out for estimate in 6 weeks and NVB called me right back and scheduled to come out to look at damages within a few days; even scheduled an evening visit because i work so late. From the young man, Brandon, who first came out, assessed the damage and discussed roofing options, to the front office and all their staff, they were exceptional. At first I thought it must be too good to be true; I was skeptical. I told the young man that I thought the price to be paid by my ins. for the roof was low for this area. He said that they would negotiate the price with the ins company for an actual price to include ice, water and drip edge etc. And other than my deductible $500 and the upgrade to better grade shingles, synthetic felt instead of tearable paper and aluminum ridge vent ($1000), they would negotiate the rest. (I was sure I would end up paying much more) But they did it! I didn't have to do a thing. Also included in the contract was the removal of an old solar panel that was no longer functioning. They disconnected it, closed off the intake and outtake vents and placed new roof vents there, and hauled the panel away. When they called to schedule the work, they were there right as planned. And the day they completed the roof, I noticed that the few pieces of soffitt that they were to replace under the eave was not done. So I called them the next day and asked if that was suppose to be a part of the contract (which I thought it was) and was told, yes. They had someone out that day and it was all taken care of . The insurance paid what was initially estimated, plus an extra $4000. (which they had negotiated) And as that young man told me the first night he was out, I received a final bill/statement of services rendered with no balance due. NVB was professional, efficient, reasonably priced and honest. They knew what they were doing, and they did exactly what they said they would. Other than the initial visit with Brandon, I only had to call them one time to go over all the contract details and make sure that we were all on the same page as to what was going to be done. It took about 2 months before I was actually scheduled but the high winds in the area had taken out hundreds of roofs and I understood that. My roof damage was not critical and I had no leaks. Plus it took time to negotiate with ins co. And now I have a beautiful new, terra cotta colored roof. And I can actually see the drastic difference between the quality of their materials and what I had originally. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. A ++

I had my roof replaced by NVB due to hail damage. Jonathan was my consultant, he was excellent and extremely helpful! He helped me understand the claim process and was present when the insurance company. I will recommend to anyone.

Nothing done yet. The owner of the company contacted me after a very poor showing by one of the sale persons. I am hopeful that the estimates and work might be done by this company since most of the ratings on Angie's list is good. The owner asked me to delete the previous rating but I decided to update it instead. I am willing to give this company a second chance so more to follow. I rated it an overall D but upgrading the rating based on the owner making contact and clearly wants to protect the reputation of this business. That alone is encouraging

It went very well and I highly recommend NVB and specifically Jeremy Trujillo. He handled everything and it included several sub-contractors so not an easy task. NVB kept their promises and contracted costs and stipulations. The work included installing an new roof (Excellent), installing carpet (entire house - excellent), painting the entire interior (excellent), replacing the drive way and extending it - concrete (Excellent), installing a new door (did not go well but done), renovating a bathroom (took a long time but well done), patching some holes in drywall (well done), installing new gutters (well done but not a good clean up). it took a little over 4 months. They took a little longer than expected but lived up to the contract (For any company - pit everything in the contract, everything)/ This is not a hit on NVB, they went beyond several times. For those seeking to do multiple renovations NVB is a great choice. Jeremy was excellent. When NVB did not quite make their timeline they did not try and get out of the penalty costs - very professional. The lateness was due to the wrong size door being ordered

Came out to assess for an estimate on a Friday and was supposed to receive an estimate following Monday. On Friday of that week I called because I never received the estimate. They didn’t know what was going on and promised a response by the following Monday. Now another week later and still nothing.

Unfortunately the individual that agreed to come to my home for an estimate failed to show up. Texted me 2.5 hours after our agreed upon time.

After a hail storm, my house was damaged to the tune of over $10,000. I called another contractor and was not happy with their lack of professionalism. I then called NVB and what a JOY to work with all of these wonderful people. I had roof damage to my home and shed, siding, gutters, etc... They did all of the work with in a timely manner and EVERYONE that I dealt with with professional, polite and a joy to work with. My home looked brand new after they were done. I was VERY pleased with all of the services rendered. I would happily hire them again!

It went extremely well. Roof replaced within 2 weeks. Professional work all around. I'd be more than happy to recommend NVB and use them again myself!

I had my roof replaced by NVB due to hail damage. Kevin Cokayne was my consultant from the company and walked me through the entire process! He was AMAZING and extremely thorough! He helped me understand the claim process and was present when the insurance inspector was there. He answered all of my calls and questions. I couldn’t be more pleased with my roof! It’s gorgeous! Several of my neighbors have come up to me and asked about my roof replacement. I don’t hesitate to give them Kevin’s name and tell them to work with NVB. You will Not be disappointed!!!

The painting project is now complete and we’re very pleased with the work. All needed wall repair was accomplished as they progressed, and the final results look great. They were very professional and worked long hours each day to get the work done quickly. They go the extra mile to make sure you’re happy with their work before they close out projects. In our case, they even came back several days later and repainted a couple of areas where the new paint was scuffed up due to a subsequent re-carpeting by a different company.

I used NVB Contracting LLC for a roofing and gutter replacement after my home received hail and windstorm damage. Jhonatan worked directly with the insurance adjuster and was able to get everything taken care of which took most of the worry and effort off of my mind and shoulders. His crew showed up on time and was very professional. The crew complete the entire roof and gutter replacement in two days with the crew working from sun up to sun down. After the job was completed they ensured all the debris especially the nails (I have dogs so this is very important to me) was complete picked up and properly hauled away. I would recommend NVB Contracting to anyone that has to replace or repair there roof and gutters.

I contracted with GC Jeremy Trujillo and NVB Contracting to repair hail and wind damage to my roof and siding. Jeremy shepherded thru the insurance process. I was able to replace my roof and repair my exterior thanks to that. I am happy so far with the quality and workmanship of my new roof; no more leaking and putting down buckets in the attic is nice. Could I have gone and bid this around for a bit of a better price? Maybe, but I was comfortable with the service and communication, so I am satisfied with getting good value and having peace of mind.

Jeremy and NVB team members helped me in getting my roof inspected, worked through the claim process with my insurance and getting the roof replaced. Process was very smooth and professional.
