This company rocks. Eric showed up to the house the same day I contacted him. He inspected my roof and identified hail and wind damage. He then explained the insurance process and walked me through the next steps. He then came back out when the adjuster arrived and made sure the adjuster identified the same damage. A few days later the materials arrived and by the end of the next day I had a new roof and gutters. If you live in NOVA and haven't called this company to inspect your roof you need to now. They are professional, courteous and provide quality services. Thanks Eric!

First the basic stuff: The work was done quickly (even with an unavoidable delay due to rain), the crew was polite, and they even did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. But really, I expect that. The real value here is that they walked me though the entire process of dealing with my insurance company (it was my first time) and made me feel involved and informed about the entire operation. Oh, and one point I almost forgot to mention: My new roof looks great.

When a storm basically tore my entire 6ft wooden fence down, it made a huge mess of my yard. NVB came to my house and replaced the fence and even collected and hauled away the old fencing. I had zero mess to clean up. The fence is very well built and i am positive i will not have to worry about the fence being tore down this time. I highly recommend using NVB, as they can do anything you need regardless of the size of the project or the task that needs completed.

NVB replaced all of the gutters on my house and now my house looks 100X better than when it did before. They arrived on time and were polite with everything they do, i would definatley recommend NVB, and will be using them again for sure.

Very well - Jeff Bradley was very excited about installing the sun tunnels. Brought in the local rep from the company to make sure the tunnels could be installed.

A storm damaged the roof on my house in July so i decided to hire NVB contracting to complete the work. I could not be happier with the decision i made. NVB can do it all and will complete the work in a timely fashion. Don't like negotiating with insurance companies? well NVB will take care of all of that, i didn't have to communicate at all with the insurance company making the process stress free. i highly recommend NVB.

NVB contracting installed all new siding on my house, and they did an outstanding job. They completed the job very quickly and my house looked amazing. Cannot say enough good things for NVB, they are dependable and do a great job!!

NVB replaced a window in my house after a storm damaged it and was unable to be repaired. They did a fantastic job and i would recommend them to anyone. The window was difficult to match but NVB was able to match the window and even painted it to the correct color. Great all around business.

NVB provided a schedule, kept the schedule, and provided a quality product. Excellent housekeeping and clean up also.

Eric provided prompt and professional service. He removed the water, unclogged the downspout, swept off the roof and took pictures of the areas on the roof that he showed to me as he was describing the issue. I contacted 4 roofing companies and Eric not only picked up when I called but came out right away. He came highly recommended by a friend but I had no idea he would come out same day so was thoroughly impressed with that level of service. When he presented me with the bill, it was fair.

The purpose of Angie's list is to find references from your neighbors and their experiences. I found mine directly from my neighbor but felt like I needed to share this with others who did not have my benefit. My neighbor, an attorney, game home last month to find a leak in their home. After investigating and finding a contractor, their roof was inspected and discovered that it was caused by hail and wind storms some time in the past. Their insurance adjusted was contacted and confirmed so the roof (22 yrs old) was replaced for their deductible. The contractor, NVB, came across the street and offered to check mine since we were subject to the indentical weather pattern. He took pictures showing the wind and hail damage that I was totally unaware existed. I called my insurance adjuster and made an appointment for him to meet with NVB. Needless to say, my repairs were also approved and the paperwork proceeded. In less than a week's time, I had my check and scheduled the repairs. The next week NVB was scheduled on Thursday. On Wednesday all the material was delivered and Thursday morning the work began. By that evening, all was completed including the clean up of the removed material. They even worked with my big dog wandering around them begging for attention. I could not have been more pleased. I graded quality as good only because I know you can get roofs for 40+ yr life and this was 25 yr. During this time span, another large firm that goes door to door in my neighborhood came by and their quote for an average life span roof ("before my discount card") was more than 3X the amount that I paid. I graded professionalism as good rather than excellent only because excellent seemed to relay a stuffiness that is not there. He was knowledgeable about his business but very personable to deal with as a client. I can not give NVB a better reference than excellent but that does sum up the service received. My contractor used to work for another company and then formed his own. One of this trademarks was a gift of homemade applebutter. I received a jar and have been enjoying it since. You would not go wrong with a contract with this firm.

Eric the contractor, could not perform the job on day promised because of weather and he needed to finish a job elsewhere. He did keep me informed on a daily basis. He wanted us to be satisfied. He was efficient and thorough.

NVB came out to replace my roof and the job went smooth. After the roof was replaced we had noticed some scuffs or tar marks on our siding. We called to ask for it to be cleaned and NVB came out and cleaned it the very next day. Over all we are satisfied with the roof replacement and the quick turn around on the scuff marks that needed to be cleaned. I would recommend NVB to friends and family in the future.

Things went very well. Eric arrived, was punctual and professional, started on time and ended within the time frame he estimated the job to be complete. His staff were courteous and professional. Hardworking. Quality work was done and an easy reconciliation for our insurance claim and damage loss. We appreciate his hardwork, follow up and follow through during the duration of our interaction with him. He then brought us a jar of his home made Apple Butter for our family to enjoy.

Once we received our first insurance check, he worked quickly to get the materials and get his roofing team out to do the job. Once on the roof, his team worked quickly and efficiently. The job, to include the skylight, was completed in 13 hours, to include a detailed cleanup of the entire area. Finally, we had a somewhat difficult time getting the adjuster at our insurance company to understand that the inital adjuter who came to our house had not done a detailed examination of the interior. We sent photographs and county building code requirements that applied to how roofs and skylights had to be built or repaired. I was surprised, but it appeared as if we were speaking in an unintelligible foreign language when we tried to explain to her why were were providing that information. Mr. Bradely submitted three detailed supplements to the insurance company and he finally got the adjuster to understand what was necessary to meet county code regulations in repairing the roof. Thanks to him, we will realize the depreciation, and end up recovering almost the entire cost of the new roof and skylight. His professionalism, his ability to communicate clearly and plainly, and his enthusiasm about getting each job done right is refreshing. I strongly recommend his services to others.

Eric Bradley and his crew just installed a new roof, a new skylight, and covered three lengths of gutters on our house. They did a terrific job!! I'd gotten six estimates on the project, and it was amazing how wildly they varied. Not only was NVB Contracting's the lowest of the six, but in discussing the project with Eric, I had the sense from the beginning that they'd do the best job. I was not disappointed in the least! They were very timely and efficient, and the finished product looks great! They also did a great job of clean-up afterwards. This was an especially significant issue with our house, since we had two layers (6000 sq ft) of shingles to be removed. I'd recommend them to anyone, and they'll be at the top of my list in the future for other projects.
