Description of Work: They were great. I worried because of bad weather delays but they covered my roof with a tarp and secured the tarp to withstand 40mph winds. Their clean up was amazing - my two patios and flower beds were so clean - not a scrap of material left behind. I had to go to work early and so couldn't really interact with them. They were super professional and I would highly recommend them. Please note that I could not afford, nor would my HOA accept the nicer architectual tiles. I used builder grade but what a relief not to have any more leaks.

Description of Work: We hired Northern Virginia Builders (NVB) to replace our roof after two bad hail storms. They worked/argued with our insurance company to get us the coverage we were entitled to and they did very good work when they said they would do it and as efficiently as possible. Excellent.

Description of Work: NVB came out to inspect my roof and find the source of a leak that was reaching the ceiling of my top floor. They quickly inspected the roof, found the source of the leak and sealed in. My roof is approaching the end of its expected life span and I will likely use NVB in the near future when it is time to replace my roof. | |Great company! Will recommend and use again!

Description of Work: They stuck to their roofing shingle product despite saying it matched, it didn't on inspection for other products by another vendor. But the big killer was despite the Salesperson's phonecal to his boss for better price, that result still made the Bid considerably over $1 K higher than three other proposals. Bottom line is NVB wanted to rip me off! Never deal with them again!

Description of Work: Took off 2 layers of shingles and a solar panel from the 1970's. Put on new architectural shingles, flashing and skylight. Added holes for 2 bathroom vent pipes. |Hard working team finished in one day.

Description of Work: Eric at NVB was wonderful to deal with. Very courteous and very professional. Most importantly he was very knowledgeable!! NVB replaced our roof and siding for an insurance claim. We were in a time crunch, and Eric did everything possible to expedite the process AND give us top notch service. Throughout the entire roof/siding replacement, he sent pictures and gave us regular updates since we were not actually there! I would recommend NVB to anyone who needed a roof!

Description of Work: Contractor replaced three pipe boots and calked ridge vent, inspected for popped nails and tarred damaged nail pops. When the work was completed, work area was cleaned of worn roofing materials. I very satisfied with contractor's work. An estimate for a complete roof replacement, while provided, lacked specifics, as to what work would be done and the materials required.

Description of Work: NVB did a wonderful job. They took the time to do the job right. They even took the time to fix my gutter which was not on the contract but out of quality customer service, they did it as an added bonus. For the last 10 years I used the roof contractor who placed the roofing material when the house was build but after taking a chance with NVB, it was a great decision. I would recommend this contractor to do your roof.
