They did a great job. They went back and fort with estimates and made sure that the estimate and the work that was going to be done was exactly what we wanted. They were responsive. If I can afford to have them do more work, I would. I would highly recommend them to people. They were definitely on the more expensive side.

From the initial estimate through the finished product, these guys were amazing. I am 100% satisfied with the work they did. They were flexible in scheduling, courteous, and one of the cleanest companies to do work in our house (which is amazing considering all the dust that was kicked up with the jack-hammering). If you're thinking about getting water proofing, consider these guys. In the future, I will definitely have them out to do more work on other areas of my house.

The job went very smoothly and our company contact (Jim McCabe) was very communicative and professional. We have had no water problems since. They also warrantied their work for 20 years. Jim even went so far as to return to the site when it was determined that the original quoted scope of work was larger than what was actually done. Since the amount of work was less than their cost minimum, he agreed to do some additional excavation for us in another part of the basement to allow installation of a new drain. Overall very pleased with the experience.

NV was the only foundation company that responded to my estimate request and was very responsive in scheduling an estimate. They also called a day in advance to confirm. Bruce came out on time, gave a straightforward assessment of the issue (cosmetic cracks in parging), provided explanations of what may have caused the cracks, and offered options of how a masonry company could repair the issue. He was friendly and professional. I'd definitely recommend Bruce @ NV for those looking to determine issues with their foundation.

We had a great experience. The technician was honest and suggested that we try to have our front yard re-graded before doing anything more extreme or expensive. NV was one of 3 companies that we called to give us an estimate, and only NV offered this solution. We did subsequently have the property re-graded and it seems to have solved the issue. If the issue does resurface, we will definite call NV when there is more work to be done.

They were punctual and on schedule.I thought the work was good, but not great. They were not very enthusiastic about coming out to look at the leak that we had. They finally came out. The price was good.

Contacted NV Waterproofing to schedule a site visit in order to a**** waterproofing needs for my basement. On the day of the scheduled inspection the inspector called to indicate they were running late and would I still be available that day. Yes no problem. A little later the inspector called again to indicate that they were still out of the area and would it be at all possible to reschedule our appointment. Things like this happen and I had no problem with rescheduling. The inspector indicated that they would call me later that evening or the next morning to reschedule. OK Great. I never heard from the inspector again. In fact the only call I received at all was from someone at NV Waterproofing 4 weeks later asking me if I would like to try to schedule something. I indicated that I was no longer interested. I would not be able to comment on the work quality of NV. My only experience was a failing grade for customer service and general responsivness

The work was done quickly and efficiently.

I was very happy with them. They came in gave, me an opinion, told me what I needed to do and then I sold the building but I liked them coming out. They were very knowledgeable. I had gotten them based on what I had seen on Angie’s List so I would definitely use them, in fact, I have already checked to see if there are any similar issues with our regular property. They didn’t charge me for an estimate. The people were fine. The quote was reasonable.

The quality of the work was excellent and the method used to support the walls (carbon fiber straps) was much less obtrusive than other companies we received quotes from. The customer service was also responsive when there was a problem. I would like to be able to recommend NV Waterproofing for these reasons, however we ran into so many communication issues with the crew and staff that I cannot recommend them for such a large and expensive project. Each time the crew was going to come out we were told we would receive a call the business day before telling us when to expect them - the office never called. The crew on site was not confident with English so there were many times when they did not explain what they were doing leading to unnecessary confusion and additional expenses for us when we needed to have things done by other contractors we expected NV Waterproofing would take care of but didn't have someone readily available to clarify with. After the work was completed the crew left a damaged water pipe for the utility sink and had moved the washer and dryer to a separate room - ultimately they did repair the pipe and re installed the washer and dryer but only after we complained. The representative said that it is their policy not to re install washers and dryers but we were never told that and it was definitely not necessary to move the appliances into a separate room. After the work was completed we also found that the toilet was completely clogged - probably a result of the seat being left up while building material was torn out in the bathroom. On the final day of work we were not off offered a walk through with a supervisor nor were we given an explanation how to maintain our new sump pumps - we had to call them and request a supervisor come meet with us despite one of us being on site every day of the work. All that said, the customer service was very responsive including the owner and they did satisfactorily explain the sources of our issues and shared plans the company has to improve (including English classes for the Spanish speaking crew members). So in the end, I am very torn regarding NV Waterproofing because I think they are headed in the right direction with regard to customer service, supporting their employees, and the quality of work is great. But in the end this type of work is a huge expense and the poor communication really hurts their rating for me.

The Production Manager, Rich, arrived at the agreed upon time, removed the necessary basement dry wall and patched the crack. They informed us during the initial visit that they do not restore the dry wall. We did this ourselves.

a friend of mine asked me to help him hire a basement waterproof-er. I found NV on Angie's list. the water was leaking into the basement from one main location. they dug the outside wall, did their thing and left. however after there was a heavy rain again it leaked in the exact same spot. the head contractor who originally dug it came out (Walter, nice guy). They dug, opened up dry wall etc. and found the leak was actually coming from around the front corner so it wasn't under warranty.. he ran it by the owner, had taken pictures etc. He was nice about it and seemed to feel bad. I called and spoke with John Forrester the owner.. I just explained that even though the leak was from a different location than they originally thought it was part of what we were paying for for them to figure out. He quickly agreed without argument and came back and fixed the area free of charge even though technically they didn't have to. I was impressed by this and that they stood by their work. They were also significantly less than the quote we got from Apex.

After noticing the leak after a few heavy rains I called NV Waterproofing. They were very responsive on the phone and gave me a date for Jim - technical advisor - to look at the problem and give me a recommendation. The appointment was set for a few days due to schedule conflicts I had. Jim arrived a few minutes before the appt. time. He looked at the leak and the basement wall - he took away a little of the insulation that is attached to the walls in my basement -and told me it needed to have a crack repaired is all it was. I was concerned it would involve excavating the front to fix. Jim indicated its was only a hairline crack but the wall was in excellent shape so a simple epoxy repair would do the job and it was guaranteed for 10 years. He wrote up an estimate of 850.00. He said it would take a few hours to do. We agreed and he wrote up a contract will a 30% deposit. I gave him a check for $300.00. The next day as promised I received a call to schedule the repair. Rich was available the next afternoon. Rich arrived on time and got to it. He took all the insulation off the wall in the area of the leak but did it so it could easily be replaced. As he was doing the work he told me that the crack didn't go all the way to the floor and was only about a third of the way down the wall. When he was done he asked how much of a deposit I had given them. When I told him he asked how I had paid - cash - check etc. I told him check. He got on the phone to their office and told them the work wasn't the complete length and I should be charged only $250.00. The office said OK and a check would be sent out to me. I was truly amazed at their honesty. They could have said that was it and kept the 850.00 and I would have not known any better and be glad for a good job done. To top it off the check for $50.00 arrived at my house in 2 days. I waited to write this report to make sure the leak is fixed and it is after many rains. I would highly recommend them

I was very impressed. Basically, the estimator told me I did not need their services as I was substantial below their minimum. Recommended I contact a landscaper to accomplish the work. I appreciate his honesty and professional advice. He took the time to walk around my house and point out other areas where the grade next to the house needed attention.

I called Jayne Hoblin and asked if she could send someone out to take a look at my back yard that slopes toward my house and occasionally fills up a window well and then leaks into my basement. Bruce showed up 4 hours later (on time) and took a look (of the X4 window wells X3 had drain pipes and one did not) at both the back yard as well as my basement and sump pump. He made a number of recommendations as to the care and maintenance of my system (extremely helpful) and then advised that he had several potential options in mind. The most simple one was to dig down in the window well and attach a Y connector to the one right next to it and if I was handy I could do it myself. He took the time to detail exactly what I would need to do with inexpensive parts from a hardware store. I told him what another company had proposed (for $2,700) and he professionally advised that solution would work (no competitions bashing) also but if I was comfortable I could save that money by doing it myself. Bruce is very knowledgeable and was super helpful, couldn't ask for a better resource. So the bottom line is, I called NV Waterproofing they came out the same day, told me how to maintain my system and then gave me an option I was very comfortable with that saved me $2,700. Even though in this instance they are not getting any revenue if/when I need any of their services again they will be my first call.

He answered all of our questions and provided more details when asked. He did not charge us for the visit. Overall, very pleased. Saved his business card in case we ever need his services for real.

On the first day's morning, it was not going well. There was apparently some mis-communication between the salesperson Jim and the foreman. The contract called for injection from the outside for the 1st wall, but the foreman refused to inject from the outside, and only wanted to do from the inside. It took some arguments, separate discussions between him and me, between Jim and me, then Jim and him, before the foreman agreed to it. What made me feel a lot better was the he now agreed to do it both inside and outside for that wall. They injected and repaired the 2nd wall as agreed in the contract. Minor thing: One of the workers accidentally cut the original drain tube coming from the front wall put in by the builder without asking me, but he fixed it by connecting a new one to where he cut it. They did very good work on both walls. After the epoxy and polyurethane were dried, the foreman cut the protruding ports, and smoothed the repaired areas along the cracks nicely. Nice job! I painted over them with concrete paint and they look almost as if there are no cracks. Jim came twice to my house for estimate and for further adjustments on the contract. He was very courteous and professional. He listened to my problems, and proposed several solutions to address the problems without pushing his way, as some of the other companies' salesmen did. There were many heavy rains, but there was no leaks. Job well done!

Efficient. Well staffed. Worked hard. Friendly. No issues with work 3 years on.

It went well. The entire job took about 1.5 hours, the technician explained clearly what he was doing, and he cleaned up afterward. We have had no prolonged, heavy rain since then, so we don't know for sure if the problem has been solved, but the work is warrantied.

It was easy to schedule an appointment for a free estimate. The office called a day before to confirm the time. Jim showed up exactly on time. He quickly determined that we have problems in our gutter system and foundation grading. He gave me exact step-by-step instructions for solving the problems. This is excellent professional service and I highly recommend NV Waterproofing for a fair and objective analysis of water problems.

Great! Randall Butterfield was the estimator. He advised waiting until we knew for sure where the leak was. Came out twice to give the estimate. They made a quick schedule. Their team worked all day and did a superb job finding the area an sealing it with their waterproofing material. Have had several rains since then and we are dry!

Mr. McCabe checked the crawl space, told me we did not have mold except a minor spot or two. Says we could spend 10s of thousands of dollars unnecessarily. Says you cannot easily stop a minimal amount of moisture from penetrating concrete block walls. He suggested replacing the plastic on the dirt floor to seal water from exposure to air and put a dehumidifier in the crawl space to remove what moisture does enter. I did as he recommended and since then there has been no musty smell in the basement. Regarding the moisture in the drywall, he says I should not be concerned unless it penetrates into the room side.

The company never responded to my request for an estimate or my follow up email.
