Established in 1986, NV Waterproofing provides below grade solutions for moisture control and prevention to customers in the greater Washington, D.C. area. Please call our office today to schedule your appointment at 703 690-3889. We employ only highly trained and certified applicators of the industry's most effective and environmentally sound waterproofing and drainage products. One Stop Shopping for Waterproofing, Moisture Control, and Drainage Systems. Over the past few years alone, our customer base has included hundreds of homeowners, general contractors, production home builders, and custom home builders. This base has been developed primarily through word of mouth. Our technicians deliver excellent customer service and results, and our company stands behind this work. NV Waterproofing is a member of both the Supportworks and Contractor Nation networks. Both are international groups of more than 130 foundation repair and waterproofing contractors that shares information, best practices and advice, helping each other be better together than they would be alone. NV Waterproofing just completed some commercial work at our condo building. After several bids from foundation repair companies, NV waterproofing had the best strategy and pricing. I, unfortunately, do not have the names of the crew members that completed the exterior work, but they arrived on time and finished the job quickly and restored the exterior/lawn almost exactly the way it was before any digging occurred. Rich Oliver did some injections into our underground garage walls to stop water from intruding. He was flexible with scheduling, due to the recent snowy weather, and showed up when he said he would. Very good communication throughout the process and did a great job. We will use them again if we run into any more foundation issues (hopefully not).

Description of Work: They were very responsive, honest and knowledgable about our sump pump issues and gave very useful and professional advice which was much appreciated. We ended up using another company when we realized we did not need their complete services. I would not hesitate to use them in the future for a waterproofing job.

Description of Work: Sealed a crack in our foundation. Diagnosed the problem right away after several other companies did not. Found the crack and sealed it with hydrophobic epoxy. No issued since so just finished repair work to damaged rooms.

Description of Work: NV repaired an earthquake crack and a settling crack in my basement wall as well as a crack in the floor of the foundation. They also put in a new drainage system to keep water off the foundation and installed a new sump pump. There was a one-day schedule slip due to weather - it happens - but Jayne was a pleasure to deal with on the phone about it. The estimator did the engineering drawings on the spot so that I'd know exactly what would be done and why. And, the crew were great. Everything was very well done, they were noticeably careful about keeping the mess to a minimum, and I can barely see where the trenching work was done in the yard. My basement is dry...I'm happy.

Description of Work: They tore out the walls up to 15 inches. Then they tore up the cement floor about 15 inches out from the floor. They installed drains and a sump pump and then filled in the floor. I had to hire someone to repair the walls.

Description of Work: Had water (Hurricane Sandy) come into basement through poured foundation wall. Received two estimates and NV Waterproofing was by far the superior offer. The sales person (Jim) was very thorough in explaining the process to correct the problem The technician (Richard) was very professional and punctual and cleaned up afterwards. He injected a urethane resin into the crack to seal it. We have a 10 year warranty and just to call if any signs of water.

It went well from start to finish.
Description of Work: NV installed a new exterior drain and new interior pipes and sump pump. They also changed our downspouts. They encountered a problem and provided a solutiion. They were responsive when something they had done had to be changed.

Description of Work: I had water leakage during the recent 7" rain that appear to originate about 4 feet under a large outdoor concrete stoop. All other waterproofing contractors wanted to waterproof the wall adjacent to the stoop where no leakage was occuring. Jim McCabe, the project coordinator, focused on the problem wall. He said NV could tunnel under the stoop, seal the problem wall and fill in the hollow, and if necessary, install an exterior sump pump for $3,600. This addressed the actual problem, minimized interior disruption, at a reasonable price. I am an engineer so I am in a postion to make this assessment. Jim McCabe is very knowledgeable and intelligent, and addresses the real issues.
