Showed up when they said they would and worked hard all day. Protected our house and cleaned up.

Initial return call from the company was very prompt, and all interactions with employees were professional. We believe we received a fair estimate at the initial visit, especially given the same day visit and on a weekend. Fans and dehumidifiers were provided to dry the area, and as promised, Nexters returned within a few days to replace the padding and resecure the carpet. We are happy with the results and were extremely thankful that were not required to replace our brand new carpeting, just a small piece of padding. I would recommend Nexters for anyone requiring work related to water damage and would use them again if the need arises.

He did a fantastic job. I was moving and the previous tenant did not clean the carpets at all. There were black stains everywhere. I thought they were ruined. I called Roland, and he literally came the next day. I had to leave so I left him there. I came back and he did a phenomenal job. All the carpets were sparkling clean. I was 100% sure I was going to have to replace the carpets . Not only is he trustworthy, he shows up on time.

I had a sump pump failure resulting in a flooded basement from Hurricane Irene. At 2 am, I sent out emails inquiring about estimates to dry out the water in my basement and the carpeting. Nexters Restoration Inc. called and woke me up at 6 am offering to come on Sunday morning to perform this task and quoted me a price of $675 via a written estimate by email. The price included picking up the carpet; placing blowers to dry the carpet; throwing away the padding away; and replacing the carpet with new padding. For additional $65, he would shampoo the carpet. I accepted the offer via the email and waited for Nextel Restoration Inc.to show up. When he did not show up by 12 noon, I called to determine the status and was told he had to make a stop in Brandywine before coming to my residence. When he did not show or call by 2 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm, I called to determine if he was still coming to perform the job. At first, he stated that he will soon be on his way once he completed what he was doing. At 7 pm, hestated that he was still coming but had gotten into a situation that was beyond his control and would call when he was finish and on his way. Nexters Restoration Inc. finally arrived around 8:30 pm. At that point, my carpet had been under water all day and started to smell moldy so I asked for the cost to remove and haul away the carpet and padding, as well as to extract the water. I agreed to the quote of $275. He extracted most of the water but I was asked to extracted many puddles before letting him leave near 10 pm or later. He left wet carpet and padding on my backyard for two days, which was picked up after I called to inquiry about them. He also left carpet tacks on the floor after I told him I was not replacing the carpet and was considering tile. When I asked him to remove them, he never came back to do so despite stating that he would remove them when he came to pick up the wet carpet and padding. To avoid removing the carpet tacks, he picked up the wet carpet and padding while I was at work instead of calling me. I asked him to call me at work when he was within 30 minutes of my house so I would not wait all day for him to show up again. I had to pay someone else to remove the carpet tasks.

My house had been occupied by residents other then myself, the owner, while I worked outside of the country for a year. When I returned I found that some damage had been incurred at the property. The finished basement had apparently been flooded at one point because outdoor drainage have been allowed to fill with leaves and other debris. In addition to extensive staining on the wall to wall carpeting in my finished basement, and on the walls, there was also unrelated water damage to the first floor ceiling, apparently do to overflowing of bathtub or toilet in second floor bathrooms during my absence. My center AC/Heating system was not functioning properly either. The AC would be on full blast but only a few room of the house would cool off. I found Nexters Restoration by referral on line and feel so incredibly lucky that I did. This firm has an incredibly conscientious owner and hired skilled, reliably workers whom he supervises closely. Nexters removed the water damaged drywall, patched and fixed it, and repainted expertly in the basement and the first floor ceilings. After making certain there was no health problems due to mold, Nexters cleaned the IVORY colored wall-to-wall carpeting in three rooms in my finished basement. This carpet was not without stains BEFORE the water came in under the back door! They did a remarkable job, leaving the carpet and the basement looking refurbished and fresh smeller for an extremely reasonable price. Nexters also fixed my AC/Heating system’s problems with a thorough cleaning of the ducts. This is a great family-owned, local company. Nexter's is extremely reliable and affordable and I plan to use them again and again!
