Description of Work: Contractor contacted me promptly about the job, scheduled to come out the next day. Arrived slightly outside of proposed window, but we were scheduled from 2-4pm and traffic around where I live can be bad. I really don’t feel like I got a definitive diagnosis, which is what I paid for. I did not pay to have the work done, or pay for a quote, I paid to have the problem diagnosed, which he did not do. I pretty much had already surmised that the problem had something to do with the wax ring. He said wax ring or flange without removing anything. That’s like a car guy not even lifting the hood of your car to diagnose the strange sound coming out of your car. He could have told me this based upon what I described over the phone. Driving out to my home was just for optics. I paid for a diagnosis, what I got was an educated guess because he did not open up a wall or move anything to confirm his haunch. I was disappointed and this was not what I expected. His quote to replace a $5 wax ring was $350 and quote to replace a broken flange (if that was the problem, he didn’t know for sure, which is what I thought I was paying for) was $750.

Description of Work: Navy Plumbing replaced my basement ejector pump, identified and repaired a difficult to access leak from a second floor bathtub drain pipe. After this job, I re-engaged them to relocate the bathroom water supply lines, repair sink wall drain, replace shower faucet, install new toilet, pedestal sink, and faucet.

Others wanted to make the job easy on them which created more work for me (drywall etc). Moe and I talked through the project and he did exactly what needed to be done.
