Excellent job and very reasonable price. I used them to asphalt my driveway before so I had no reservations about working with them again. This is a family run business so you always know who is going to show up to do the work. End product will always exceed expectations and is not finished until you are satisfied. As long as they are doing asphalt work they will be my go to company without hesitation.

Our driveway is on a hill and is quite wide as we have a 3 car garage. National was highly recommended by a trusted source--a good choice as they did a masterful job. Mr Hancock spent a good half hour measuring and preparing the detailed estimate. The proposal he developed reused as much of the existing driveway as possible so as not to incur extra expense. A good value for the money! The crew arrived on time and worked quickly doing the work as proposed. They were prepared and had all the right tools and equipment, to include supplies to protect the concrete garage floor and sidewalk apron. They preserved my flower beds on one side (I had been concerned). The work was neat with good clean edges and they actually improved the drainage by improving the slope of the asphalt. The crew was professional and pleasant and answered questions in a way that et me know they took pride in their work. They spent a good hour cleaning up and left the driveway and street in excellent condition. Work started at 800AM and the I hadn't expected the loud jackhammer noise in the demolition phase. I can't blame them for that but its a planning consideration if you do a job with them.

We were very pleased with every aspect of our dealings with National Paving & Repair. The quality of product was good, the work was done quickly and effectively, the schedule was kept, the people were very pleasant. I would recommend them without reservation.

Dean was great. He came out on a rainy day to give me an estimate. I had already had two other estimates. It seems like everybody has a different way of doing things but his estimate was in our price range. After I gave him the go ahead, it was about a week before he began. He did EVERYTHING EXACTLY as he said he was going to do it. I can't stress how important that is and what a relief it was to have it done right the first time. He provides a 1 year warranty on his work. The new area at it's widest is about 8ft across. This should allow me to park 3 cars in my driveway and still leave room for the car in the garage to get out. He put 3 inches of gravel (which equated to about 14 tons) and 15 tons of SM 9.5 Asphalt on top of that. He didn't try to oversell me and took extra caution to with the FIOS cable that was marked in the area by hand digging around that. Total work time was about 6 hours and they worked hard the whole time. I'm very pleased with National Paving and should I need anything in the future, I will definitely be contacting them. They aren't at the top of the Angies list reviews but if you got down this far and are debating whether to call them out, go ahead and give them the chance.

Dean and his crew are pros ... on time, great price, great job .. they know what they are doing.

It was a pleasure doing business with Dean Hancock. He arrived and walked me thru everything that he planned to do, which entailed rerouting a section of an asphalt driveway. He went to work immediately, clearing the path for the new driveway section and laying in a layer of rock for the base of the driveway. He came back a week later and put in the asphalt. The work was done quickly and the driveway looks great. Dean always returned my calls and kept me up to date on progress. Very easy to work with, his crew was polite and professional, cleaned up the job site when he was done.

Their quality control is impressive. I thought they were through when they started to throw water on the recently laid asphalt. I asked what they were doing and was told the water will make any seams appear so that they can smooth them out so the surface has no such blemishes. They want to do a good job and they do. I'm picky and I was totally satisfied. They treated my small job as the most important one they had that day. They are good to know about.

I have had my driveway resurfaced three other times by other companies and this was by far the best work of the bunch. No detail was overlooked in the work proposal and the work was performed as specified. What I liked most about this experience was the owner was the one who both wrote the proposal as well as did the work with his three sons. He explained to me what he was going to do with each step in the process and it had to meet his hight standards before he moved to the next phase. He finished the driveway as close to perfect as possible and followed up a week later to see if I was still satisfied. His pricing was competitive with other estimates I received. I hold the bar high on home improvement companies and this was one that I will look back on with a huge smile on my face.
