My Truck Buddy

My Truck Buddy provided a prompt response to request to move a bed that
was very fragile. They came in at a good bid (less than the others
contacted on Angie's List).
They communicated, were on time, and did a great job! They get an A+.
And,
my Mom was the person on site to coordinate the day of the move and
they were very polite to her and made it a positive experience for her.
The bed was moved without any damage, so they were careful
Kudos to My Truck Budddy. They will be the first person I contact for future moving needs large or small.

These guys are amazing! They showed up 10 minutes early and asked for a run through of what was moving. I pointed out all the furniture and they were happy that we were organized and impressed we already took apart the bed. The made maybe 3 trips to the freight elevator filling it up and taking stuff down to their truck. The were very cautious of the walls and incredibly efficient. They double checked the address of the house and showed up maybe 5 minutes behind us. They came into the house and asked where the furniture should be places. I told them and with incredible efficiency they brought everything into the house. The expressed some concerns about a couch and box spring making it upstairs a narrow staircase but said they were happy to try if we would like. We aksed them to and they artfully negotiated a couch up the stairs with not an inch to spare - the put thte feet back on the couch. Unfortunately the box spring didn't fit.

These guys are amazing. Top notch service, Efficient and came in wildly under budget. Told us it would about 350 to 450 and charged us 280! Use them and you won't regret it.

This was our second experience with My Truck Buddy, and they did not let us down!  They estimated 3-4 hours and told us the more we packed, the less time it would take for them to load, and the cheaper the end bill would be.  They were right!!!  Three guys loaded our POD in just about 1.5 hours, everything was packed in tight and secure!  The guys were right on time and left right when they finished - no start-up or wind-down time - which was great for our busy weekend!

The movers arrived early and were extremely professional and courteous and packed up belongings carefully and professionally in both the "delivery" and the "move". Their service was outstanding and very reasonably priced.

They were punctual, efficient, friendly, worked very hard, and did no damage to the house and furniture.  Cost was reasonable.  We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to a friend.

They arrived early (calling first to make sure it was OK), and took 90 minutes to load, drive to the facility and then unload into the storage unit. They were quick and careful (one large curio cabinet involved a lot of leaning and twisting to get around a wall and under a hanging lamp, but they did it without a scratch). When they were done, instead of charging me for the 2 hours quoted in the range (I was quoted a price based on 2-3 hours of work, with a price for 2 hours and price for 3 hours), they pro-rated it for the 30 minutes they didn't need. All in all, a great service to have available, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone who needs help moving stuff around.

They showed up five minutes early, were friendly and professional, worked hard and didn't take a single break.  They did the job for the
amount estimated and setting up our move was simple. 
Not a single thing was broken or damaged, they kept the furniture clean, didn't scuff furniture or boxes against the walls and were incredibly delicate with our fragile antique dresser. 
These guys are AMAZING!!!!!  This is as good as movers can get.

I had most of my belongings already boxed up, but these guys did a good job of quickly moving everything out of one apt. building into another... with quirky twisted hallways and elevators at both locations. They moved a very heavy couch through a hallway that I thought might be impossible, and best of all, NOTHING was damaged, dented, scratched, broken, or left behind. I was assuming a few things might get dinged in the move, but nope, everything was delivered without incident.

Wanted to purchase sofas at Costco, but couldn't lift or transport them ourselves.  Contacted My Trucky Buddy based on Angie's List search.  From first contact with David, to handing Pete the check, everything went as smooth as can be.  David was easy to talk to and gave a quote without hesitation.  He wasn't put off by a possible change of meeting point either.  
Pete and Sean met us at Costco at opening of business.  They loaded both sofas, drove them to our home, took our old furniture out of the home, brought in the new, and set everything up! They were friendly, curteous and professional at all times. 
We can definitely recommend this company and its staff to anyone needing a complete move or delivery like we needed.

They came in my place on time, quickly performed carrying boxes, furnotures, etc. Their communication is fantastic, they comfirmed which one goes where or not step by step. They do not waste time, kept moving & carrying during moving hours. Also their knowledge about 'moving' is great! I can see his passion to own his business. It makes me so confident to be with them.

They were great.  Easy online quote process, with prompt email confirmation.  They didn't have an hour minimum which worked great for our one-item move.
The guys showed up on time, were curteous and freindly.  We'd use them again in a heartbeat!

Based on an email description of the work to be performed they provided an estimated range of the cost and a day and time that they would do the job if engaged.  They phoned before they arrived at the pickup site (ahead of schedule), and in transit with an estimated time of arrival.  They told me what they were going to do, did it, and kept me informed of their progress - the move was flawless and the final price came in at the low end of their estimate.  The party that sold the desk informed me that they were most pleasant and competent - the same conclusion I had. 
They are certainly my mover of choice from now on.

From a list of five Angie's List movers, my friend chose My Truck Buddy based on their low price. My Truck Buddy sent two guys who were professional and on time.  They took the bed frame out without wrapping it, but wrapped it in the truck. They reassembled the bed in her bedroom in good condition. They were patient as she decided where she wanted to place the bed. She would definitely recommend them to family and friends.  She thought it was a nice touch that the owners made themselves available to her by phone.

This was likely the most complicated move I've ever done. It was only furniture and like 4 boxes, so I thought it would be simple. Instead, my center support on my bed frame broke as the movers took it apart (it was light wood), a washer was lost on my sofa legs when they took those off, and they ended up having to carry my 7 ft sofa up 13 flights of stairs b/c it wouldn't fit in the elevator (I measured badly). They were very pleasant about all of these things, and incredibly apologetic for breaking my bed frame support. Frankly, I think that could have happened to anyone who didn't hold the cam in place while removing the screw, but I don't really think it should have happened. Overall, ok move. I'm not sure I'd use them again, but I'm also very sure that sofa is never leaving this condo.

What took us hours to move in ourselves two years ago, the guys from My Truck Buddy got moved out and back in in less than 4 hours.  We had an awesome group moving our furniture and they did a great great job!  We could not have been happier with the move. They fit everything we asked for and more into the truck and made it look easy.  Fair price and great work!  Would definitely recommend.

Everything went real smooth, they gave us a very thorough and accurate quote when we first contacted them and even provided a link to a bunch of moving tips and letting us know that the better we were packed and prepared, the quicker and cheaper it would be for them to finish. They confirmed our move a few days before and asked if there were any changes or special details that they needed, great level of communication with them. They arrived a bit early, which was great, and got to work right away after we showed them where our apartment was and where the service elevator was to use. They were very fast and careful with all of our things and wrapped anything that needed some extra care and padding (like our one TV that no longer had the box. They asked us where we wanted everything and moved stuff around if we needed as well. The overall move took around 3-4 hours and had no hiccups. They were both nice guys and very friendly and took great care of every thing. Definitely recommend this service for someone moving.

Absolutely phenomenal! My soon-to-be wife and I were extremely satisfied with our decision to hire My Truck Buddy.

I have moved several times myself, typically with family and friends helping out, but since we had to move on a Tuesday, this was not possible (beer and pizza is considerably cheaper than movers!). We decided to hire My Truck Buddy after reading several review sites and obtaining several quotes from them and their competitors. The quote was recieved quickly, included both a high end (7 hours for what we needed moved) and a low end (3 hours for what we needed moved), and was the most reasonable of the offers. More importantly - the quote was 115% accurate !

To begin, the gentlemen that showed up for the move arrived 15 minutes early and were ready to get started. Pete and his crew were very pleasant, respectful, and machines! Once we explained what we wanted them to move - the all of our furniture and big items - they never stopped moving! I feel that we were properly prepared for them for the most part - ie everything broke down, drawers removed, table legs bundled together, etc.- which I feel is key in any move (and for future customers - read their Moving Guide on their website - some great information to make the move less stressful and get the most bang for your buck by being prepared). Anyways, within about an hour the 16' truck they brought was loaded and we were ready to go.

Once at the new apartment, the unloading proceeded even more quickly then the loading (since the walk was shorter and no stairs), even with a delay because the fire alarm was going off in our building for a still-to-be determined reason. They braved the loud and annoying fire alarm until the firemen has requested no one go back in for about 5 minutes while they checked the building.

After the 1st load, they asked if we would like them to do a second run for us for the large boxes and other things we had packed (about a roomful of boxes of everything else we owned ha!). We had planned on moving all that stuff ourselves (we have a SUV) in several trips to keep the costs down.

Since we were so impressed with their work habit and the fact that the first load of large stuff was done under the quoted time and cost (took about 2.5 hours), we decided to have them do a second load for us. They did not quit or just go home once the quoted job was done. Rather, they saw an opportunity to further assist us in our move (which after watching them work during the first load - we were more than ready to pay for the second load - something we were not counting on).

Their attitude was not "we quoted x hours to move ___" and therefore take the entire time of the quote. Their attitude was more "we're here to move___," and got to work.  It was this type of attitude why we decided to have them do a second load for us (and pay a bit more of our moving budget than we planned) since we truly believed they were capable of performing. 

That second load was worth every extra dollar we spent as it saved us time and stress the rest of the day during our move. I only wish we had planned on a second load with the boxes with them as we would have had more prepared for them to take.

Overall, we were extremely happy with our decision to hire My Truck Buddy. I would highly recommend them (and have already sung their praises to a few friends!) for their accurate price quote and assesment, their respectful manner, and tireless work ethic. Thank you very much for helping make our moving day much less stressful.

Free advice to future people moving: Make sure you are prepared for the move and have properly planned everything out. Not to toot my own horn, but I do believe that having everything ready for them to move into the truck helped out and expidited the process. While we were thrilled when they finished the first load under the quoted price, we recognize that only happens a smaller precentage of the time, however would still use them many times again for the afromentioned reasons.

Jimmy and David arrived early. They quickly loaded the washer and dryer. They unloaded them at the house and placed them  where I requested.  Everything went smoothy. I am very happy, as I could not have rented a truck for what they charged me. And they did all the work!

Talked with Cris to get an estimate., then filled in the request a quote on their web page. Received a quote in a matter of hours, that included scheduling the job for one of my acceptable times. In spite of my typo for my address, Jimmy and David showed upwhen promised. In spite of the job being more than they had expected, cabinets were successfully moved and charge was as proposed.
Kudos to Jimmy and David for getting it done!Would be first person I would call if I need gruntwork help in the future.

I had a great experience with these movers. They arrived on time (actually about 10 minutes early, which was great) were friendly, professional, and incredibly fast. I didn't have a lot of stuff to move and I worried about paying too much, especially since it was hard to find movers who didn't charge a two or three hour minimum, plus an hour of travel time. This company was exactly what I needed and I would definitely use them again!

I've moved a lot. In my post college years I moved at least once a year for a total of 11 move in 11 years. I always did it myself. Well after living in one place for almost 5 years, getting married and having a child we had accumulated a lot of stuff. Including heavy furniture. So this time we hired movers. I checked out My Truck Buddy after a recommendation from a friend and they did not disappoint. Made me wonder why I never hired movers before.

Getting a quote from them was super easy. Better than other places that never responded or then called to ask me the same questions I already answered in their on-line forms. I filled out their online form and received an email quote the next day. All I had to do from there was respond to the email with "confirmed" and it was a done deal.  I would have liked a call the day before just to re-confirm and for peace of mind, but it all worked out.  Their price was great and less than other quotes I got. They gave me an estimate on how long they thought it would take and they ended up finishing on the low side. Granted I was well organized, had all my boxes in one area and disassembled furniture before they arrived. Although they would have taking things apart if I hadn't. Still it took them 4 hours total to empty out our 2nd floor 2 bedroom condo and move us about 7 miles down the road to our new house.

On moving day these guys worked. No sitting around milking the clock. I was amazed at how quickly they got the job done and with the professional manner in which they did the job. All of our furniture made it to our new home in one piece and without any damage. My husband had some odd and ends he loaded into his car and when he pulled up right when they were about done they didn't hesitate to unload his car too. Oh and did I mention that it was raining the day of our move? They took great care to cover things a then took them down our long walk to the truck and put down moving pads at our new place to avoid soaking the floors. While I don't plan on moving again for a very long time if I do I know who I will call and who I will recommend to friends who are moving!
