Description of Work: I needed a mover just for three pieces of furniture (a small move). I looked around and their prices were comparable to others but chose them because they could make the timing work for me and I needed the furniture delivered in Maryland (outside of some companies' service area). Also I liked that they charged by 15 increments rather than by the hour. They were upfront about costs, showed up on time (early actually) and worked quickly - which is important when you are paying by the time.

Description of Work: I am not one to leave reviews but their service is so unique I felt I had to. You can find Craigslist movers for small jobs easily. But who pays if they damage the property where item is. They are worth every dime. I tipped heavily because they just did so much beyond what is expected. Linda

Description of Work: They moved a treadmill. At the first residence they were asked to be careful of an important object and they were not and damaged part of it. They were asked to be careful with the treadmill and were told not to remove a certain part of it, that it was unnecessary to do so. They told the person making the request that they knew what they were doing.At the second residence they could not get it into the residence and manhandled it in. They then set it up. It is a very computerized model, but they said they knew what they were doing and didn't need to use the manual. They trapped the starter key under a cover (tightened the screws down, we had to remove the cover to get it out). The unit would not work.We followed all the troubleshooting in the manual and on the online support website. Still, nothing. We e-mailed Truck Buddy and they e-mailed back saying that the delivery persons did not remember any of this happening (not damaging the item, not being careful, etc.). I contacted the manufacturer of the treadmill.When they came to service it, they said whoever set it up did not know what they were doing and did not hook up a cable that should have been hooked up, but was stuck up inside of the unit. This cost me $198, but the treadmill works now. The delivery persons were polite and on time, but clearly did not know how to move this item. I decided not to re-contact them since they said they could not remember anything about the move.

Description of Work: These lovely gentlemen moved all of the furniture and heavy items from our apartment in Fairfax to our new home in Centreville. They were early (called to confirm it was okay to come early before arriving), were very friendly and moved quickly. They were very respectfully and candid about moving our items. I would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to all.

Description of Work: They moved our one bedroom apartment and made a second stop to move additional items from a basement. All of the guys were great and they really worked their tails off.

Description of Work: My Truck Buddy exceeded my expectations. Excellent communication from beginning to the end, and I was able to schedule the move within one week. The team of 3 for the move, led by Leon, arrived a few minutes early, and started immediately. Although one individual seemed to be in training, it did not slow down the move. Very professional. Have already recommended them to others, and will definitely use them again!

Description of Work: We used this service to retrieve items from two separate storage places and delivered them to our garage. The guys were on time and had no trouble handling the full job to our great satisfaction. They were courteous and careful with our belongings, and we would definitely use them again. |

Description of Work: These guys are great. Came out to Reston for a free estimate. Prompt, courteous and professional. Total bill came in under the highest estimate (they provided a low end and a high end) and they were still cheaper than our last move.
