Description of Work: Exterior painting--they ran out of paint twice after they told me how much to purchase; installed colonial moulding on columns instead of traditional and told me they no longer make traditional; installed a door and damaged the wall, then completely ignored the fact, and took 5 time longer to install it; the entire job took twice as long to finish and they didn't complete the work because they needed a third day which would have tripled the original quoted price that they doubled.

Description of Work: Replaced some wood on exterior portion of house near the roof. They replaced it and painted it. Job was done well but I believe it was too expensive, although I have nothing to compare it with. Unsure exact date used. I would use again if I find it is cheaper than anything else I could find.

Description of Work: Called Mr Handyman to replace the faucet fixtures in our tub/shower. I was told it would take 2-4 hours, but it ended up taking 5 1/2. I was really disappointed, but I guess that's the gamble you take. I guess I thought with a professional, it would not take longer than the estimate, but I know that our house is normally more complicated that we think. Overall, the work was good, but based on the price, I will likely not use this service again.

Description of Work: We had a tree come through our dining room window. It broke one storm window, screen and one pane of glass in our colonial window. The 1st repairman that came out, left caulk all over the colonial window, it really looked bad. He replaced the screen and used the wrong size of spline, so the screen came right out of the frame. He did a very poor job of cleaning up. He also had to borrow some of our tools, because he didn't have the tools that he needed. They had to send a second repair person out, to fix the mess that the first one made. I don't feel that when your paying that amount of money, that it should take someone to clean up after your first repair person. The second gentleman did a really great job, but, I think the first one should have done that in the first place, so there would be no need to send someone out to fix it....I think they are over priced.

Description of Work: I called four times and never once spoke to anyone from Mr. Hanyman. All calls were placed during normal business hours (1400-1600, weekdays). I can confirm, however that Mr. Handyman has contracted a friendly answering service.
