In this summer heat, we are so happy that we were taken care of a few months ago by MJA when we noticed our A/C wasn't working. It's almost 100 outside... but definitely not inside :) Last year we dealt with so many horrible A/C companies... things turned around when we called MJA. The owner came out and explained everything in terms we could understand, got us up and running super fast, and was even there for the install. Great service, great team, and a super happy (and cool) customer!

We had Mike and his team come out to replace our hvac and water heater with new units. Mike was extremely knowledgeable which helped set us up with systems that both keep us comfortable, save us money, and provide some peace of mind. His team worked diligently, they were polite, clean, and always on time. We've never come across a company that provided so much at such a competitive price.

Their team worked quickly and meticulously. The finished product (stair railing) looks better than expected.

Whitney, by far, is the BEST person to work with when it comes to refinishing hardwood floors. We called 4 major companies for quotes with SPECIFIC DETAILS of our project. Whitney was the only one who actually LISTENED from the very beginning. Not only did he show up on time for the estimate, he phoned to call he was on his way AND was well prepared with what was discussed on the phone. He arrived with with photos, suggestions and was more than willing to work with our desired schedule around the holidays. I have to say the following only because anyone who thinks that everything goes "as planned &/or estimated" has a lot to learn. When we had bumps along the way (due to OUR floors - not Whitney or MJA Design). Whitney & his team had the patients and the knowledge to come up with solutions. They made, what was NOT their issue, their issue. They were not going to be happy until we were. Alex made a stain color JUST FOR OUR FLOORS. It took sunlight, clouds, evenings and several sample areas throughout the house to see the actual stain before we had the right one. MJA Design treats your home like it's their home. It's not done until there is 100% satisfaction. We highly recommend Whitney & Alex.

Really really well. The owner and staff of MJA design were nothing short of phenomenal. We felt like we had new family members. Would do this again in a heartbeat. Bathrooms next.

From concept through construction, things couldn't have gone better. MJA Design was very professional and took time to explain everything about the job. We're very happy with the final result.

In all the homes I've remodeled, I've never met anyone who knows HVAC and heating like Mike and MJA Design. They redid an older home for me in Alexandria. Excellent work at a reasonable price! I recommend them 100%, they are timely, ethical, professional, knowledgeable and communicate throughout the process. Mike knows A/C COLD ( no pun intended)!

Great!Can't say enough good things about their HVAC guys. We didn't pick them as the service was done thru our home warantee. The entire process they were proactive and called us before I even had a chance to call. Their service guys are fantastic, super nice and clean cut, put booties on and covered the work area with a tarp. Very professional and always with an honest opinion and a smile. Thanks to the HVAC team we are sitting cool again!

The attention to detail is absolutely fabulous, the care in construction is an A+ They're just a pleasure to work with. When you find a contractor that says what they're going to do and then they just do it and you don't have to argue about it or think about it and they're looking after you, there's no punch list at the end, that is a good contractor.

MJA helped us to redesign expand and renovate the master bathroom. The bathrrom was expanded into the close with sink and custom cabinets added. Room was installed with designer tile and a double fully glassed in shower was custom built. We had used these folks for the kitchen ten years ago and their work and attention to detail is still there.

Matt Sbitani came to my home to discuss the project. He spent much time in creative discussion, brainstorming how to best utilize the space we had available. We ended up making a jack and jill bathroom into a hall bath and an en suite bathroom for a larger bedroom in the house (in addition to doing the master bathroom). As you can imagine, these were huge projects. Along every step of the way, there is someone at MJA to advise you and work with you, from design throughout the renovation project. During the design phase, Matt is very helpful in determining the best solution for your needs. We spent quite some time evaluating possible design solutions. Ultimately, we came up with the one previously described and then moved on to picking cabinets and fixtures. Matt makes his own cabinetry, so you can have anything you want! We chose everything and priced it all out, in detail. Once the price was determined, there were only additions and subtractions when we chose to add or eliminate elective items to the contract (for example, we sadly decided not to install the heated floor in the master bathroom at the last minute, and so were credited that amount). The most important part of working with Matt is his integrity; he stands by his work. So, after the renovation, if I had any questions or concerns, he made an appointment to see me and came to help. I highly recommend Matt Sbitani and MJA design.

We used MJA to renovate our kitchen which is their specialty. We were pleased to see that they were now doing bathrooms which was not the case about ten years ago. They designed, planned and expanded the master bathroom. The bathroom was expanded about 200% by taking some of the closet and hallway. We added a glass enclosed double shower with full tiling and cabinets. They are not the cheapest in town, but they design your job from start to finish and will stay on it until they are done. Ours took about six weeks to do, so it was a major renovation.

They do not miss a detail. The workmanship was superb. The staff and workmen are exceptionally responsible. My wife and I were most impressed - every day. They came well-recommended by a friend and she was right. We actually did not even get other bids. They are high-end but totally worth it. Totally. They want satisfied customers and we are. That is why we asked them to come back to redo our bathrooms and powder room. We are expecting the same great experience.

It went very well. They were organized and professional. They are experts in kitchen and bath remodeling. They took care of us and a pleasure to work with.
