 + -1 moreThe work was scheduled. They cut out the door in the brick wall and provided support and once the work was done in the area, they framed the area with brick and installed door and lock. The weather was inclement at the time of the work, however they placed down wood planking to use to move concrete and materials to the area without damaging my yard. They dug out the area and prepared the area with Rebar and mesh and concreted the area. They came back late in the evening to ensure that the concrete was properly finished. Their work was nothing but first class. I would and will use them again when I have masonry work. I may use him for framing work also as they do that type of work additionally.
Description of Work: This was one of two contractors I requested estimates for work. The other was a large company with lots of high ratings on Angies List and they sent an estimator out that quickly looked at area and without making any calculations gave me an estimate of $8,500. Initial communications with Daniel made me concerned that I wouldn't be able to communicate effectively and wasn't sure about the work. Daniel came out and did a detailed review of work and measured and provided me with an estimate the next day. I was impressed with his understanding of the work and he provided me with an estimate the next day. Lazo Construction cut into a brick wall and dug out and prepared and concreted a floor in a room to be made into a wine room beneath a house adjacent to a finished basement. He also waterproofed a wall. Once concrete work was completed, he installed door after completing the framing for door.

 + 1 moreHe is a great guy. He charged a fair price and did excellent work. He designed the walkway himself and did the work quickly and efficiently, all while providing great customer service. We are very satisfied with the work and would definitely use LAZO Construction again.
