Description of Work: Removed a wall between family room and living room. Hardwood floor was matched perfectly. Support beam was hidden in the ceiling very expertly. Unexpected extensive duct work was needed and all was done in a very timely manner. Added an island in the kitchen and increased opening between kitchen and dining room.

Description of Work: Total remodel of 4 bedroom home including all new insulation in exterior walls and attic, all new windows and siding, all new doors and hardware, including garage door. Removed wall between tiny kitchen and dining room to make an open concept kitchen masterpiece including a granite countertop, stainless steel appliances, kraftmaid cabinets and crown molding. Moved and resized window so it would be centered over the kitchen sink. Master bath, full bath and powder room have all been totally redone, each with their own distinctive look. Removed troublesome floor to ceiling bifold steel doors on closets and replaced them with standard free-swinging doors with new framing. They installed an overhead light in each bedroom, and added ceiling fans to the master bedroom and family room. Installed new tile entry and powder room floor, hardwood floors throughout main floor, and new carpeting on stairs, upper level and basement. Painted all walls throughout entire house and trim on the outside. Also brought house up to current electrical code including all new outlets and switches, rewired the main breaker panel and also wired rooms for cable. Also built a custom closet in the basement, cleaned and stained outside deck, built a new banister when the old one didn't meet current code.

Description of Work: Finished basement and performed a number of repairs: repairing MBR ceiling, replacing plumbing, painting and minor electrical repairs.

Description of Work: I would highly recommend KR Construction. Kevin R. came into my home and assessed two projects I was considering. He listened to my thoughts, answered my questions and provided his opinion. One thing he stated during our first meeting was he hired professionals that I wouldn't mind having in my home. He provided timely estimates for both projects and I decided to go with the kitchen project The removal of a lighting fixture and replacing it with recessed lighting and replacing the original countertops with granite counters. Once the date was nailed down everything start to move along. Mark arrived promptly on the first day and started the lighting project. The project was completed in three days. The work was done efficiently and professionally. Kevin was correct, I did like and trust the people that came to work in my homes. I would definitely recommend KR Construction.
