Kirby Kerns Contractor, Inc.

I solicited proposals from four companies selected on the basis of Angie's List ratings. Kirby Kerns was one of the two who conducted a thorough inspection during their site visits, and they offered a better constellation of services that met my needs--and at a better price. The roof, gutter and downspout replacement and the soffit and chimney mortar repairs were completed to my satisfaction by staff and contractors who comported themselves courteously and professionally. What impressed me about Kirby Kerns was their willingness to visit my home a second time to discuss options and alternatives and what should appear in the contract, necessary because of things I had learned from on-line research after the first visit, and a third time to resolve minor anomalies in the contract. I was surprised by a fourth visit a few days after the work had been completed, the purpose of which was to inspect what they had done. I would highly recommend Kirby Kerns Contractor without reservations.

Excellent service. Had 8 estimates prior to selecting Kirby Kerns. Excellent service, fair pricing, courteous and prompt service. Worked with insurance agent to assure maximum coverage. Neighbor also used Kirby Kerns and was likewise pleased with service. Recommend without reservation.

He worked fast and explained everything in an easy to understand manner. These problems now seem to be permanently resolved.

We were extremely pleased! Everything went without a hitch working on our tin roof. They were timely, extremely professional and did quality work. Highly recommend.

Once it was determined that are roof was fine. Scott took on the hard task of locating attic fans that would fit in our crawl space attic along with laying insulation. Our attic is small and almost impossible to get into and Scott along with Tony crawled into the space to install fans and sheets of insulation that the sub contractor Alex and his blown insulation could not reach. The job was difficult other contractors wanted rip out drywall in order to install insulation adding to the overall cost. This was not an option that we wanted to do. Scott said he could do what we wanted without disturbing our drywall. Scott and his crew were up to the task and came through they did everything that they said they were going to do. Scott kept us informed and was a pleasure to deal with. Amanda kept the paperwork/emails in order.

Every time we have had Kirby Kerns Contractors to work for us, we have been extremely satisfied. Their work is done in a timely manner and is always done right the first time. When we have any problems, we contact them first. I have also recommended them to other people as well.

The new roof works well and looks great. They did an excellent job.

From my first contact with Amanda to the completed job. Working with Kirby Kerns has been great. They came in to re-caulk my windows after another contractor failed to properly prepare for the job. Funny how things workout, not only did Kirby Kerns come in with a better price, they were also able to provide the replacement shutters. The first time the technician came out, they were some issues with the shutters not being correct, but not Kirby Kerns fault. The shutter people sent the wrong items. After the work was done, the caulking looked great and the shutter installation was perfect. I would use them again. And will be asking about other work in the near future.

We were very pleased with the work. I was very impressed with the work. With the company, I kind of liked that they were a family run business, very intimate and friendly. Because it was such a small job, they actually got it done in two hours. They sent a crew of about half a dozen or so guys and they just went to work immediately. It was very quick; they knew exactly what they were doing. It was like they could do it a million times with their eyes closed.

That went well. They did a fine job. I think the price is pretty good. I'd give them a B on quality because they did put up the wrong color and had to come back and it took them a little while to come back. We use them anytime.

We had limbs fall, it damaged the pipes, the vents and some shingles. They were fine.

We were very pleased with the work and highly recommend Kirby Kerns Contractor, Inc. They replaced our old, builder-grade skylights with Velux skylights and metal flashing. They also did some roof repairs and cleaned our gutters. Kirby is a knowledgeable, helpful and reliable professional. In addition to the roof work, he answered all of our questions, gave us good options and a fair price.

We had some water from our downspout coming at an angle to the shingles which caused some water to occasionally seep through. Kirby's contractor added another downspout elbow to redirect the water and they ensured that area had a membrane and new shingles. The job was professionally handled in a timely manner.

So far things appear great. However, we will not know until the next torrential rain. The crew was polite and punctual. The office staff was accomodating. Would definintely recommend the company.

Perfect in every way! Between the -big freeze- and the current flood watch Kirby got out here after a rush call to reattach the gutter and prevent serious leakage around my front foundation. I wouldn't trust anyone else with the exterior of my home. Thanks again guys.

As usual, perfect in every way. Over the last 8 years Kirby has 1) repaired a basement leak PERMANENTLY for a fraction of what others charged to do nothing 2) installed leaf guards on gutters 3) replaced a leaking solar tube 4) fixed leaking siding and wrapped the area with insulation 5) replaced 2 exterior doors 6) put in additional attic insulation 7)installed an attic fan His workers are on time, efficient, clean courteous and his price is always reasonable. I would use him again in a heart beat but I've run out of work for him to do!

I met with Kirby and discussed what was needed. He took a look at the roof and door and asked if we also wanted the dish removed. I had forgotten about the dish and my son wanted it removed so I was glad Kirby asked. I called their office the next day and gave the ok for the work and they ordered the materials that morning which was great because my son needed the roof fixed as there was a leak. They got busy and as soon as the shingles were delivered they did the job. They cleaned up so well my son didn't even know the roof had been replaced! They arranged for someone to be home a day the following week and installed the door. All the people who work for Kirby Kerns Contractor, Inc. do good work and are very professional, not to mention nice.

The work was fast and high-quality. It seems like the problem I was trying to fix was actually fixed so I'm happy with the work. The sales consultant was experienced and was able to recommend a solution that looks good and fixed the problem on the first try.

PERFECT On budget, on time Kirby Kerns is a pleasure to deal with! Alas, no more for him to do. Since I bought the house from my ex 8 years ago.. All my windows have been replaced, siding leaks fixed, attic fan installed, new entry doors/screen-storm doors, skylight installed, attic insulated, gutters cleaned and gutter guards installed. I'd have used him for the bathroom re-does if he did that! All I can do now is sit back and highly reco him to anyone needing work.

The job went extremely well. Scott, the employee, took before pictures of his inspection of the roof. He explained the job process in detailed which I allowed him to repair a few hours later. After the job, he provided after pictures of the job which was excellent. From the pictures, I saw neat work and that he left a cleaned up all the debris.
