They were not professional, had to contact them 5 times in a month to rescheudule and get updates on my estimate for flooring.
Description of Work: Called for an estimate two weeks out, they never showed up. They were apologetic and rescheduled. He told me he would send me an estimate, two weeks never got an estimate. Spoke to owners wife Ms. King told me that her husband would send the estimate and they still haven’t sent the estimate over two weeks later. I have had to call them 5 times in over a month from the beginning to the end.

We asked Dave King to come and give an estimate for several flooring jobs in our home. He came on time and was very professional. He was easy to talk to and completely understood what we were asking for. He never tried to get us to purchase something extra that was not necessary for the job. We will hire their company to do the flooring jobs as soon as we get a completed estimate, as we highly value their honesty and professionalism. He was also able to work around our work schedules and come in the late afternoon, even if it meant that he got back home quite late. Thanks!

King's did the insurance replacement Pergo for our flooded basement and we were pleased so we went to them first. We went in just before Thanksgiving 2010 and looked at carpet in the shop. The owner (Denise?) was very helpful and let us have a sample to take home. She also noted she would be leaving for England soon. A man came out a couple of weeks later to measure. Then, *crickets*. Nothing. We heard nothing. Called a couple of times, left messages. Even talked to a Nicole(?) and asked for a callback to schedule, "what's the deal". Nothing. Called and left a message asking if they were interested in the business, left full phone number and details. Nothing, no response, no callbacks, nothing. Very unprofessional. We speculated maybe they were going out of business or something. We still have the carpet sample. Ultimately went with Clawe's Flooring in Fairfax.

We mailed estimate to the homeowner the beginning of January - as stated above we had said that we were traveling during the holidays and were going to be delayed getting estimate to them. We are disappointed to have not been able to do work for homeowner, we understood that their no response to mean that they weren't having us do the work - I do apologize for not following up with them after we sent out the scope of work/ estimate. Happy and thankful to say we are still in business and providing excellent work and product though. We have worked with USAA and other insurance companys for 18 years and work hard to service our clients and maintain our contracts. It is a achievement we are very proud of.
