I contacted the provider to repair a leaky dishwasher. The provider was very responsive and professional. He discussed options over the phone prior to the appointment to ensure he would have all the supplies he needed upon his appointed arrival. His concern was to save me money by not needing to make two visits to my home. He also had me send photos. He arrived on time and was very friendly. He spent approx. 30-45 minutes trying to duplicate the problem so he could initiate repairs. Unfortunately, the dishwasher would not leak while he was at my home. He suggested I try using a different brand of dishwasher soap and advised me to call him again if needed.

The experience was a waste of my time and money. He wasn't punctual. He gave us a four hour window from 8 - noon on Tuesday. At 11:55 he called to say he had a flat tire and would be here after 1 pm. I said that would be fine but I needed to leave by 3:40 pm for a doctor's appt. He called back maybe an hour later and said his truck wouldn't be fixed and that he couldn't make it. We rescheduled for Thursday between 10-noon. He didn't show up or call. We called him after 1 pm. He said he was in Alexandria and had forgotten about our appointment. He came after he finished in Alexandria. I had to leave before he arrived so I had my father-in-law meet him. When he arrived he said the dishwasher needed a new valve, but that first we had to call a plumber to fix a different valve under the sink that was stuck and preventing him from turning the water off to the dishwasher. Here was his message to me about needing a plumber "YOU ALSO HAVE THE PROBLEM WITH THE WATER VALVE THAT SUPPLIES THE WATER TO THE DISHWASHER THAT IS NOT CLOSING OR IT IS STUCK, AND MIGHT BRAKE IS WE TRY TO CLOSE IT, YOU NEED TO GET A PLUMBER AND FIX THAT BEFORE ANYTHING IS DONE TO THE DISHWASHER." He offered to recommend a plumber to my father in law. I called my own plumber. The plumber arrived and said there was nothing wrong with the valve under the sink and that it turns easily by hand. There is a dual valve system under the sink and the plumber thinks the dishwasher repairman probably was trying to adjust the valve to the faucet and not the one to the dishwasher. I called the dishwasher repairman and had the plumber talk to him by phone. He told Mr. Mynor that the valve was functioning properly and did not need to be repaired. The plumber?s visit cost $146. For the return visit, Mr. Mynor messaged me through Angie?s List and said "the unit needs a new water inlet valve, the part is $96, second trip is $65, and the labor to install the part is $90 comes to a total of $251? I said fine but that I thought I had already paid for an hour of labor by buying his ?$74? deal on angle?s list. He said by message "THE COUPON IS FOR ME TO GO TO YOU AND DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM, ANY LABOR OR PARTS IS NOT INCLUDED,? Purchase amount does not expire I pointed out that the deal I purchased said an hour of labor was included with the diagnosis. He said only diagnosis of the problem was included. I understand he needs to make money, but if he can't make money with a deal that offers a free hour of labor with the diagnosis that he shouldn't offer that deal. Finally gave up and had someone else come out and fix the dishwasher.

THIS BIG DEAL OFFER THAT YOU GOT DOES NOT COME FROM ME DIRECTLY, IT IS A PACKAGE THAT ANGIE'S LIST HAS TO OFFER SO I CAN HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO STEP INTO YOUR HOUSE AND GAIN A NEW CUSTOMER, ON MY DESIRE TO GAIN MORE CUSTOMERS AND AFTER TRYING ALMOST EVERYTHING AS ADVERTISEMENT AND FAILING I GOT INVOLVED ON THIS PACKAGE, I DID NOT READ PROPERLY THE CONTRACT WITH ANGIE'S LIST AND THEY ARE OFFERING THE REPLACEMENT OF THE CLOTHE WASHER HOSES FOR FREE, WHICH I CAN NOT AGREE, OUT OF THE 149 THAT YOU PAID I GET 75 TO GO TO YOU AND CLEAN THE UNITS AND CHECK THAT EVERYTHING IS WORKING PROPERLY, I AM WILLING TO DO THAT, BUT I WILL NOT PAY FOR STILL BRAIDED HOUSES MYSELF, I SUGGEST YOU TO CALL BACK TO THE PLACE THAT YOU BOUGHT THIS PACKAGE FROM AND GET A FULL REFUND FOR IT, BECAUSE THE BIG DEAL FROM ANGIE'S LIST IS OFFERING THINGS THAT I CAN NOT COMPLY WITH, I AM IN THE BUSINESS OF REPAIRING APPLIANCES AND HEATING AND COOLING TO MAKE A PROFIT NOT TO GIVE MY LABOR AND MONEY AWAY, PLEASE CALL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS 703-944-8571, IT IS NOT MY INTENTION TO BACK UP FROM THIS, BUT I CAN NOT WORK FOR FREE, AND YOU WILL HAVE TO GET A FULL REFUND BACK FROM THE BIG DEAL FROM ANGIE'S LIST. The provider claims that the offer is for a diagnostics only and does not include any labor.

I followed up to clarify, since the deal specified labor was included, and he simply replied that labor wasn't included and told me to get a refund. Very sleazy, in my opinion.

Professional behavior, courteous, knew his stuff.

Their ad says that they cover my area, but they do not. The information they give is misleading. It is a waste of my time for me to be fooled into thinking they service my area. He will come to my home if I pay him over 50 dollars for travel fee.

Very well. Mynor was responsive and helpful. Work was professional and timely.

They suggested me to find a local service provider in a very nice and professional way.

The company was very prompt in replying. He was very honest that he could do the repair but it would not be worth it since he would have to charge for the travel so the coupon price could not be honored.

Mynor and his helper got the work done efficiently and I am very satisfied with the result.

HVAC EVOLUTIONS services technician Mynor Morales was very promt and friendly in his services. He arrived within the hour I had contacted his company when my furnace suddenly stopped working the day before a very large storm was to hit our area. After finding the problem he was able to get the part and install it without delay. I found him to not only be helpful and fair but honest, which is pleasantly surprising sometimes in this industry especially when you are faced with a sudden emergency. Instead of calling the big names I took my friends recommendation and called HVAC EVOLUTION Home Appliance Repair Heating and Cooling Services. I was very glad I did and will certainly not only pass the referral on but I will also feel good about calling them in the future.

I KEPT SEARCHING FOR LOCAL COMPANIES AND HVAC EVOLUTION CAME ON THE LIST I CALLED THEM AND WITHING 2 HOURS THEY SEND A TECHNICIAN, WHO WAS VERY PROFESIONAL, HE PRESENTED HIMSELF AS MR.CORDON, HE STARTED TO CHECK THE UNIT AND FOUND OUT THAT THE OUTDOOR FAN MOTOR WAS DEAD, HE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THE OUTDOOR FAN MOTOR WAS BURNT AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, HE DID NOT HAVE THE MOTOR WITH HIM BUT HE WOULD BE ABLE TO PICK IT UP TODAY HE SAID. HE GAVE ME THE PRICE THAT I AGREED ON IT, HE LEFT AND IN ABOUT ONE HOUR HE CAME BACK INSTALLED THE NEW MOTOR, CHECK THE PRESSURES ON THE UNIT, AND WITHING A FEW MINUTES I STARTED TO FEEL THE COLD AIR COMING OUT. HE ALSO EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR COILS NEEDED TO BE CLEANED, I AM PLANING TO CALL THEM BACK TO CLEAN MY SYSTEM, I AM GLAD I FOUND HVAC EVOLUTION ON LINE, THEY WERE FAST, RELIABLE, AND THEIR PRICE WAS NOT AT ALL THAT BAD FOR THE KIND OF SERVICE THEY PROVIDE. I WANT TO THANK HVAC EVOLUTION FOR THEIR PROMPT SERVICE, AND I WANT TO THANK MR.CORDON FOR THE PROFESIONAL WAY THAT HE HELPED ME. THANKS MR. CORDON AND THANKS HVAC EVOLUTION.

It was excellent service

Mynor is excellent. I told him my problem over the phone and he told me what parts to get beforehand so he could fix my dryer without having to come back. I didn't have time to get the parts beforehand, but the fact that he gave me the option shows how conscientious he is. He arrived the next day, figured out the exact replacement parts he needed, made a quick trip to get the parts, and fixed the problem. This description is for the last time I had Mynor fix something, but I have actually been using him for years. In the last few years, I had him install a new disposal, fix my washing machine, and a few other things. I have never had any problems with his work. He is very trustworthy, and if I ask, he takes the time to explain to me exactly what he is doing. I will definitely be calling him whenever I have any problems with any of my appliances.
