My wife and I are both very pleased with the excellent asphalt repaving job the crew from H&H Paving did on our driveway. They showed up on time, unloaded all their paving equipment, then the entire team went to work repaving our driveway. The brought a pretty large crew to do the job, and each team member seemed to really know their job, and they all worked together really well. Within just a couple of hours they were finishing up the job before cleaning up, and loading up all their paving equipment before leaving for their next job. We were pleasantly surprised that they were able to get our driveway done so quickly, and their workmanship is as good or better than anything I have seen. I know when we need paving work in the future we won't hesitate to call H&H Paving again.

H&H did an absolutely fantastic job on my home driveway. I've had a bad experience with an asphalt contractor in the past, so I took my time to research all the options this time around. I am so glad I went with H&H. The entire experience from the moment I requested a quote, to the completion of the job was handled perfectly. Justin, one of the owners, came out to quote the job less than 24 hours after my request. His price was very fair, and he gave me a great deal of confidence that my driveway job would be handled well. I asked if he had done any driveways near my house and when those driveways were completed. Later that day the H&H admin team sent me a document with several nearby driveways and the year they were done. The H&H driveways look great the day they are installed and also seem to hold up years down the line. Scheduling was a breeze thanks to Sarah in the H&H office. I had a day on the calendar three-weeks after I agreed to the quote. I had to re-schedule once and it was no problem. On the day of the project, a crew of 9 guys showed up right on time. They were all total pros, led by Jeff the foreman. They demoed and removed my old driveway, laid a fresh crushed stone base, and then a beautiful layer of new asphalt that was compacted to perfection. Even the edges look great, which is not easy to achieve. All this was done in 4 hours. I can't say enough good things about H&H. They restored my confidence in the asphalt contractor industry.

H&H did an excellent job. The job foreman keep me informed thru the whole process what they were doing. Very professional and the end result was excellent. If you don't use H&H I think you are making a mistake.

Although their website clearly says they work in Arlington, they never responded for a quote but when I called them directly I was told that they only work in "West Arlington". Very strange response considering I have lived here for 35+ years and never hear that term. Rather misleading.

Several neighbors in our court had our driveways resurfaced today by H&H. I live on a pipestem and they did the pipestem and our driveway. I thrilled with not only how great the driveway looks, but the overall experience. They arrived right on time, put a good size crew on the job and got right to work. It’s always fun to watch folks who know what they’re doing and are really good at it. It was fun watching these guys.

We are elated with our new driveway which had an irrigation problem, so not your average job. I’m an engineer, watched the whole process and was amazed by the H&H crew’s professionalism and mastery with their equipment. They looked like they had done it a thousand times and all of my concerns about the irrigation were put to rest. The office managers were also super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. From start to finish, this was an awesome experience! The office staff arranged a set time for the estimate, rather than just showing up unannounced. Jerry was extremely accurate in his estimate of the work to be done. I was concerned about a massive tree root beneath the existing driveway and they totally took care of everything. From there, Kathryn was very informative with the process and even letting me know when they would arrive. The crew was respectful of Covid protocol and arrived with masks. They completed the 1000 sq ft job in less than 3 hours including adjusting and rehanging my drive way gate. Definitely recommend them for your paving projects!!

If I had to choose one word to describe our experience with H&H Paving, it would be "outstanding." We could not be more pleased with our interactions with H&H, from the time Justin first provided an on-site estimate in August, to the completion of the task in September. On the appointed day, we were told to expect the crew sometime early afternoon, and that the work would take several hours. Both predictions were spot on. The crew arrived at 1:45 pm and "Domingo" promptly introduced himself. The last truck departed at 4:30 pm. During that time, the crew was exceptional in every way. From my optic, it was a well-organized, well-orchestrated process from beginning to end. The attention to detail was impressive. The way the crew worked with one another to accomplish their respective tasks, and the way in which the different phases of the process seamlessly transitioned from one to the next, were also impressive. Everyone we interacted with was truly professional and friendly. When they were finished, they did a great job cleaning up the worksite. It is always a pleasure dealing with a company that keeps its word and does stellar work.

Those working the job ignored an iron gate set in a brick column that abutted the driveway, which we had discussed before they started. The re-paving raised the driveway level, so that we could no longer open our gate to the backyard. Their “fix” was to re-heat the tar in the affected area and tamp it down. We were told it would be impossible to see a difference after. Look at the attached pictures. The gate does (just barely—like by a centimeter) clear the driveway, and I have my new driveway marred by the “fix”. I wasn’t offered any break on the fee paid (I felt I shouldn’t have had to ask). I wanted my driveway done without issues, for what I paid I should have received that, and a more careful treatment would have saved both aggravation and a less than perfect product.

Needless to say our driveway was in bad condition from the settling of the ground. H & H Paving came to us hot and heavy with a fast moving and efficient crew. From start to finish the process was seamless and everyone was extremely nice from the office assistance to the on site workers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND H & H Paving. Thanks everyone!

H&H Paving did a wonderful job on our driveway. Their price was competitive, and the quality was much better than any of the competitors work we checked out. Was surprised to hear some of the crew have been together for 18 yrs!

We so appreciate your crew! We received a call from your office explaining a change in schedule and asked if we were amenable to move our pre scheduled may 15th project to today (2 weeks early). Crew would be here between 8:00am - 8:30 am. H&H showed up at 7:55am, along with crewman supervisor, Jeff, who was very professional and walked through our entire project to make sure we were satisfied. The crew worked non-stop for 7.5 hrs (minus not more than 10 min lunch break). The results are fantastic! So impressed and love my new driveway!!! Thank you. Thank you. Great!!! In both instances, the crew arrived when promised and quickly and neatly finished their work. The new surface looked great and the newly sealed surface won't need another application for 3 years. We selected them because several neighbors had used them and their driveways still look sharp. H&H refused to consider resealing my driveway because they didn't pave it in the first place. Angie's List did not disclose this restriction. Also, contrary to what Angie's List stated on their website--that H&H serves the 22207 area, H&H stated that they do not serve this area.

Amazing results! Crew is professional, all know their jobs, got to work immediately no BS. I bought lunch for the crew, which was the only real break any of them took. A Dedicated crew that powered through the job. I believe H&H paving has gained loyalty with its workers., which shows based on what I am describing. They are detail oriented. Jeff the crew manager, is a people person, is hands on, has the respect of his team and a great interface with the customer. Every step of the way was explained. I highly recommend to anyone!

I have thoroughly researched paving companies having been a former HOA President, so my decision to use H&H was a well thought out decision. This was a difficult job as I wanted the driveway moved and material under the existing asphalt asphalt to be removed and replaced with a higher quality material that could withstand heavy loads. They also had to tie the end of the driveway into another project I had going on at the time while dealing with my existing slope and drainage problems. The crew did their work to perfection. You will not find a paving company that provides better value, higher quality work or a better work ethic. Jerry was there the whole time for this 3 day project providing timely advice, listening to what I was looking for, and communicating that to the crew. His crews take pride in their work and won't leave until the job is done right!

H&H contracted to 1. Remove & Replace existing asphalt driveway 2.Widen it. Neither was done. Foreman announced out of the blue that the existing driveway presented an undesirable base and instead of removing and replacing, he was doing an Overlay. It was so unexpected, I felt bullied and had to agree to it, or they’d not do it at all. I never expected it to turn out into a hazard due to the added height. The widening , or “new area”, turned out to be the supporting curb on the side—not a usable surface. Yet foreman Todd led me to believe that the line he traced a foot off along the edge of the existing driveway was to be the widened extra foot. The combination of the added thick layer of asphalt and the absence of additional usable surface created a steep 10 in drop from the edge to the adjacent ground. So steep that if you turned the wheels even slightly to back out of the driveway, you ended up with the left wheels down on the ground below , unable to drive back up; the only way out was to straddle the ground and the edge of the driveway, ending up with a scraped exhaust. This limitation forced us to park the cars over away from the dangerous edge and too close to each other. Hard to open a door, to load a wheel chair, to step out of a car without dropping into a ditch.. This was in December. I asked for a solution, and the owner’s son promised one after they came back from vacation. Two months later, when the owner finally came, he spent 30 minutes boasting about his company being a family business for decades, and of how great they were; yet, his disregard to my distress was appalling—the instrument has not been invented to measure his indifference. His only solution to the hazardous steep curb and the lack of widening was to drop a load of dirt on the front yard and for me to fill in the gap by shoveling it myself. There is a true professional for you. It took 6 months of complaints and entreaties, countless emails, for them to finally agree to add on a filler with gravel, in exchange for my keeping quiet about it. However, the filler was done on the cheap, without a holding bar and pavers to make it useable. It is not drivable, as the gravel spreads and a wheel leaves an imprint. I even offered to pay for the pavers that would have made the surface usable, yet they refused to do it right. In addition, H&H never credited me for the switch from remove and replace to the Overlay, a less costly and less time consuming job. This is the worst experience we have had with a contractor in 30 years . I hope this account is helpful to others seeking a paving contractor.

This was a commercial job at an small office building. H&H brought out a large crew and lots of equipment to remove the old asphalt and install a new parking surface. Easy to work with and excellent work.

H&H did a great job. Our driveway improved 100%. They were very professional and completed all the work to our satisfaction.

Called 4 companies for bids - 1 no reply, 1 too late, 1 came out but was a little sketchy. H & H was very responsive, came out one day, gave me a good prices since they were in my area the next day anyway, and ended up doing the job. Jerry was super nice and patient explaining the process and didn't try to upsell me on a complete demo - said that my existing pavement would be a good base. They cut around the other hard surfaces and took great care around the lawn and hauling away all the debris. They were in and out in 90 minutes (8 guys, 3 trucks) and so far, so good. They suggest we seal it in a few months and that should help it last. My neighbor had it done 4 years ago and it still held up, so that helped sell me. Would recommend without hesitation.

Received quotes from H&H and another smaller company. Both got good reviews, and I liked the smaller company better, but my husband thought we should go with a bigger name on such a large project, since neighbors had used them. Quote was slightly higher with H&H, so I called and asked if they would match the other company. After a long salespitch about big name and you get what you pay for yada yada he agreed to come down $200 (on a $6k project). So we went with H&H. When they arrived, it was Friday, headman was very cocky and seemed bored, first thing he told me was TGIF, ready to start his weekend...Then he asked where I wanted him to put the old asphalt that they were digging up. I said I assumed they would haul it away. he said no, he was told since they discounted our job price didn't include haul away?!! They had bobcats there! They'd already torn up half of our driveway by this point so I felt stuck, and I was late for a meeting. When I got home they had left a huge pile of heavy asphalt piled to side of driveway. Took my husband and me days to move it, it killed our grass, and H&H was obnoxious when we complained. Then they had the nerve to try to sell charge us $800 to seal the new driveway or warranty would be voided. We found a great company to do high quality sealing for less, and I have told everyone I know not to use H&H. All because they came down $200 on a $6k job.

They did a fantastic job. The new driveway exceeds my high expectations. I highly recommend H&H if you need to replace your driveway or need a new driveway or parking lot.

We are very happy with H&H Asphalt and their services. A highly professional company that answered all our questions. They took the time to clean sidewalks and to hose down other areas as machinery applied gravel and asphalt. They regraded as they proceeded to make sure there was proper drainage of water away from the house. We are delighted with the result.
