Flooring Now

This project went incredibly well. Marc was very knowledgeable and had useful recommendations and advice. More importantly, he was flexible and responsive. The flooring was being installed as part of a purchase agreement for a new home, so there were negotiations going on between buyer and seller at the same time that we were working out the type of flooring to be installed. Marc was incredibly helpful and cooperative through the process. Once we got to installation, it was completed efficiently, on time and on budget. One of the best contractor experiences I've had.

Everything went great. The ceramic tile was installed about a week after our purchase by one two-man crew on a Thursday and Friday. This was a one day delay from what we had planned, to allow them to finish another customer's project, but this delay was well communicated to us and was not a problem. The carpet in the stairway was installed by another 2-man crew the following Monday. While the work crews were not direct employees of Flooring Now, they were both crews that the owner works with a lot and does good work for him. The tile specialist from the store came with the crews when they showed up and inspected the work after they were done. The installers were very polite and respectful. They were very careful not to cause damage to walls, rails and moldings. They did a great job cleaning up after their work. I was very satisfied with the quality of their work. The Flooring Now store is hidden off the beaten path about a mile east of Sudley Road just off of Balls Ford Road. It is not a fancy showroom, but has a pretty good selection of various types of tile and carpet that they have been able to purchase. They have a lot of remnant carpets. The people working there are very friendly and are not pushy at all. They seem to know their stuff well. I do not hesitate to recommend them at all.
