It was fantastic and they were extremely professional. They were actually a lot of fun to kind of hang around while they were working. Also I’d like to just say **** those people who gave them an F it’s clear that they hadn’t even spoke to Mike

We are a military family living in Europe and have recently purchased a home in Northern Virginia for our pending return later this Spring. We want to do some minor renovations and, after noting Flash Services’ office hours, I called the number listed at 6:50 AM, from my European cell phone. The call went to voicemail and I left a detailed message stating the work I wanted done and gave my American phone number as a call back number. A couple hours later I saw a text on my cell from the number I had called for Flash Services. The message was F - - -Off. I again called Flash Services and again the call went to voicemail. I left a detailed message expressing my disappointment at such unprofessional behavior. I have not received a return call. Bottom line: There is no excuse for such rude behavior. I don’t care how fantastic Flash Services might be; this is not someone I want working in my home. Ever.

We had a large tree fall on our house. Mike quickly repaired the roof, siding, gutter and chimney for a great price relative to other bids. The roof work included fixing and replacing some roof structure in addition to replacing the shingles in the affected areas. The chimney work was to essentially rebuild half the chimney. Mike's team did a great job of making the new part of the chimney match the rest of the 60 year old chimney.

The company does everything and they have been outstanding. We actually have been with the person who is doing the work and he is very well informed, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. He is on time, his rates are reasonable and he is quality conscious; he gets things done the first time. His prices were reasonable.

Mike from Flash Services provided an estimate that was low bid but because of a current job in VA he could not meet my short time frame start date. His estimate was great, he responded to take a look at my project immediately, his method of performing the work was superior to the contractor I used. I will definitely use Flash Service again

We evaluated several contractors for the construction of a basement bedroom. We found the contractors through Angies List and other sources. We only looked at the highest rated contractors on Angies List. Flash Services came out the clear winner, which was backed up by our experience. The big edge was that Mike Fleshren, who owns the business, is also the one doing the work. He occasionally needs an assistant, but was the one in our house doing construction, drywall, insulation, door installation, window installation, and much more. All the other contractors were only and quot;supervisorsand quot; who hired other people to do the work, and no doubt took a markup. These and quot;other peopleand quot; we would not meet ahead of time and would have no idea of their qualifications. Good craftsmanship is vital to getting a room done right. I have witnessed and heard of tremendous problems with construction workers doing less than stellar work, and a lot of time you only find out about it the hard way. Mike did the work very well and very quickly. He has a thorough knowledge of home construction, and uses it to do the work very efficiently. He is very easy to communicate with and did exactly what we wanted. Other people we talked to did not listen and ignored instructions, even when it came to what we needed in a proposal. He also always explained what he was going to do. His price was in the lower range of the others, and the best price for that quality of the work. The building inspector praised his work, and, when I mentioned how fast Mike was, said and quot;it does go fast when someone knows what they're doing.and quot; Total time to construct the room in an unfinished basement, including framing, drywall, insulation, window, doors, resolving plumbing issues, and rough electrical was just a couple of days when you took out drying times.
