I have had no less than a dozen different contractors doing work at my house over the past few months. I have had many bad expereiences, but I cannot say enough about how these guys treated me. Cal came out for a $59 winter "tune-up" and ended up going way out of his way to help me fix an issue I already knew about for way less than anyone else would have done it for. Not to mention the time he spent, and the things he showed me so that I knew what I should expect out of my unit in the future and why. I really could go on. Trust is the #1 thing when it comes to hiring tradesmen to work at your home, and they have earned mine. I will use this company for every service they offer that I may need in the future, from now on. Hire these guys with confidence!

Kal was super friendly and knowledgeable. His prices were good and a no pressure sales attitude. Installation went very well with two very hard working and professional installers. Very happy with the the whole process, with Kal, and Fire & Ice.

I used the Angie's List Big Deal for the $59 maintenance check. Shawn was the technician who came out and performed the service. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. This was actually the second time Shawn had been out to the house. He had been out to the house in the fall for my humidifier yearly maintenance. Both times he has been extremely friendly and professional, and certainly knowledgeable. I highly recommend Fire & Ice and Shawn in particular.

They had to come out and fix us, but they did come out and fixed it. One of the guys was drinking, but all the other guys were good. I have the furnace to prove that, but they fixed it. It was good. I did not have to go back and forth. They immediately corrected the situation so that was good.

Shawn Hatton from Fire and Ice did a great job with our tune up. He checked to make sure everything was in proper condition , answered all of the questions I had, and even had suggestions for how I could maintain the system and alleviate some of the issues we'd been having. Super professional, and considerate, I will definitely be contacting them the next time we need any HVAC work done.

Perfect, My time window was tight because I was on lunch from work and had to get back. Shawn was awesome he showed up on time and was very respectful of my time. Shawn was very knowledgeable and took the time to teach me and my roommates a couple things on how to utilize our AC system better. He unclogged the water run off pipe for the ac system. Fire and Ice was wonderful on our HVAC inspection. The woman scheduling the appointments was responsive and as sweet as could be. Shawn was our technician. He was on time. Very pleasant. Knowledgeable and went above and beyond to answer all of my questions. I was very pleased with the whole experience and would definitely use them again.

Went great. Person did a follow up after inspection of my a/c system. He called to say he found a defect in the compressor. I was low on freon. I had choices to either repair or replace system. He did a very detailed analysis of the system and gave feedback.

The Fire and Ice Service Manager/Master Technician Kal Davis came to our home and, almost immediate after looking at the unit and the wiring, told us that it had never been wired or setup properly ... fan basically never ran, configured for wrong motor size, not working as heat pump (or something like that), etc. He fixed in just a few minutes (less than 5), and we now have a home where the difference between temperature on all three floors is within 1 degree AND that temperature is the temperature that we set it to. We weren't charged any more than the special price (don't think re-wiring was included in the checkup). Just awesome! Kal was surprised that the motor and compressor of our unit were still functioning. When they die which will probably sooner than they should have, we will most definitely be going to Fire and Ice for our next unit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company! In addition, Kal showed up at the beginning of the 2 hr appointment window. That never seems to happen for us anymore. We really appreciate that.

Fire and Ice arrived slightly behind schedule, the appointment was from 9-11 but the technician didn't arrive until 11:15. They did attempt to contact me, however they had the wrong phone number to advise me of the technicians tardiness. But other than that, throughout the visit, this was the only slightly negative remark I have. Otherwise the technician was very professional and responsive to all of my questions. He was thorough in inspecting the A/C unit for optimal efficiency and safety. He did find two issues with my furnace that may need attention at a later date. But instead of pushing services and additional repair costs. He simply provided a field quote (not an official quote) and recommended the repairs prior to the winter months. It was quite refreshing to have the technician simply recommend and not push expensive repairs during the service. This type of recommendation and attitude can certainly retain me as a customer for future HVAC needs as well as improved my overall customer satisfaction with Fire and Ice. I will certainly contact them again to have the issues attended to and appreciate their excellent service quality.

Service I requested for two AC units but technician who came not aware of that. He verified only one AC unit and not other one, since other machine in ATTIC and technician don't have ladder.

I had a company come out check my air cond which is only 8 years old. They sent 2 different mechanics on 2 different days. They both said my compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. Their labor cost seemed very high so I called Fire & Ice because they came up first on Angie's List and had a good rating to get another opinion. I talked with Kal, he came to my house within 5 hours of our first conversation just to look at what I had because I did not have a serial or model number available when I called him. He came out to the house and while I was cutting my grass, Kal took it apart and "WITHIN15 MINUTES MY AIR COND. WAS UP AND RUNNING". "KAL REFUSED TO CHARGE ME ANYTHING JUST TO REMOVE A BUG" but I insisted mainly because he just saved me so much money, time and grief. The problem was a bug was burnt on the end of my plug so it was not making a connection. Kal removed the bug and my bedroom is ice cold again. So I assume the other 2 mechanics saw the same bug but were not as honest as Kal. Also, Kal could have played the same game and not tell me the truth and replace my 8 year old compressor when it did not need to be replaced. I am extremely happy that the next time I need air cond or furnace repair, I can simply call Fire & Ice without calling numerous companies and reading their reviews before making a decision. Fire & Ice was extremely professional and efficient and got our AC up and running in a very timely manner. They explained everything clearly and thoroughly and I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I received quality service from this company. I initially contacted Kal Davis from Fire and Ice to discuss and receive quotes for a new gas furnace and a/c unit as my current unit was 20+years old. Kal took the time to present me with a proposal detailing several units he recommended for my home without any high pressure sales involved. He thoroughly explained all the units on the quotes and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. He gave me ample time to think about the proposal and after careful consideration and research, I chose a 4 ton high efficiency Fire and Ice system along with a humidifier. Air conditioner was not working. I made an appointment and they showed up on time. As they began troubleshooting procedures, they feared it would be an expensive repair, but continued to correctly diagnose the issue and did not just swing parts into the unit. Great service, good prices and they are honest.
