Decks of NoVA

It went as well as expected.

The initial connect with Decks of NOVA was excellent. All email communication was responded to immediately and extremely professional. Jeff was willing to work within my budget and produce a quality product.

Prompt estimate, sought approvals and did extras at no change to enhance the value when installing the patio. Very professional and always cleaned work area and secured as indicated. Paid attention to details, and was very customer focused.

They were professional. We called them and they provided an estimate of $8000 for wood and $12,000 for composite as we had a fairly large deck. With regard to punctuality, they did call as they were running late and we had rains in our area and they were getting more late.

The first day two men came, a leader and a helper. The helper did not know enough about how to do the job, so the leader returned without him to complete it. Weather caused some complications, so completing the work took a few visits, but in the end everything was done well, and it was done long before the vines started their spring growth.

Jeff was very personable; no high pressure sales and listened to what we wanted. (We got 3 bids all around the same price.) He drew a picture on the spot and add several bump out features that we liked immediately. He took care of the permit and started working on the removal about 2 weeks after we decided to go with Decks of NOVA. It took about 3 weeks for the new deck to be completed because of rain, otherwise I think it would of been completed with 2 weeks. He also rebuilt 2, 6 foot wooden gates, that were warped. At first we were not extremely happy with the work his carpenter did, with the gates, but Jeff was quick to fix the issues we had. I would be happy to use Deck by NOVA again... The price was very reasonable, and the imagination of Jeff to make a plain ordinary deck into a place that is a joy to get away on is worth the price.

They were prompt, and reasonably priced. They were very good, I spoke with Mr. Chrobak who is the president and he was very quick at responding to my voice mails.
