Not well at all. They misdiagnosed the problem costing me over $1200 in un needed "repairs". I even inquired what codes were showing and they provided a printout showing the charge air problem (and as I recall none for the transmission). I took the vehicle to BMW where they immediately diagnosed it as a failed turbocharger bearings. I would NEVER use this shop again and probably never use Cottman's for any service to my vehicles.

Job went very well. A little pricey but probably would have cost a lot more at the dealership. Overall everything went well. Took a couple of weeks because wrong version was ordered. Needed a California version of the converter. I had to rent a car for this period of time so that more cost to me. Overall though, job was well done. No complaints.

Transmission went out in our older Cadillac Escalade. I didn't want to buy a brand new one because it cost so much money and I wasn't sure how long we would keep the SUV. We found a deal with Cottman and went there to ask questions. They recommended a used transmission with low mileage that would be good for several years to come. The cost was still a few thousand dollars. The transmission went out after a year and when i called them back, they said there was no warranty and that there was nothing they could do. They also fried the electrical panel by telling us that the amp we had professionally installed was wired incorrectly and when they "re-wired it correctly", everything zapped. I've tried to get it repaired, but the cost is extremely high so I go from everything working to nothing working in a matter of minutes. I never know from one day to the next if things will work. They also yelled at my husband and I and threatened us while in their lobby with many other customers around. I will NEVER use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone. Whether this was an isolated incident or how they do business, I would not trust them with a wiper blade replacement.

Job went very well. A little pricey but probably would have cost a lot more at the dealership.

The work was done in record time. They were very professional.

They were much less expensive than everyone else in the area for the same work. They did all the work within one day. They are very fast and drove me to and from my house. I was very happy with them.

Absolutely an "A" rating.

It went great, even though the new transmission died in a few months. They were good to their warranty and put in a new one and started the 3-year warranty from the start of the second installation. And they will do it again in 2 years and 364 days if needed. I have used them before and they are honest,professional business men.

They are a very terrible group and they are absolutely miserable. As a matter of fact I would not recommend them to my worst enemy unless you want to have incorrect parts installed into your transmission. It took about two to three days to repair the transmission and what they didn't tell me was that they used incorrect plugs in the process of repairing it. In other words the people there were incompetent.

I would go back this instant if I need transmission work done.

I took my 2001 Ford Cobra to the shop to have my transmission looked at. I knew that some of the sychros were bad in the transmission and was told this was a good shop to go to.... What a mistake that was.... First, the shop told me they didn't even have the right tools to take apart the transmission and asked me if I had the tools. Are you kidding me??? What kind of supposed professional shop doesn't have the right tools to take apart a transmission? Transmission work is the only thing they do and not having the right tools is a joke. Then the shop told me that I had a 6 speed transmission, the car was stock and came with a 5 speed . Cobras never came with a 6 speed transmission til 2003. I had to call their corporate office and complain about these idiots. I had to pay the up front charge of taking out the transmission and having it diagnosed. I refused to pay anything else. I ended up buying a brand new performance transmission, having it towed to someone else to get install. Avoid this shop like the plague.

It took me several attempts to get my transmission problem fixed. Numerous trips back and forth dropping off the car then driving my husband off to pick up the car only to drop it off again. Ultimately it finally got fixed. We probably won't use them again. It was a nightmare and totally inconvenient. It took too long to get it right.
