Long story short...great price for the work, but can't really recommend to others. Look at some of the other negative comments and I can say I had similar experiences.

The crew arrived on time and we discussed what need to be done. Since we have a vent less gas fireplace the branches close to the chimney did not have to be trimmed as closely as they did when we had a wood burning fireplace. The crew chipped all the branches and made sure even the tiny ones were removed from the yard.

I purchased the deal coupon for $99 back on 9/17/13. Mark was so busy that he couldn't get me scheduled in October. I was out of town for a while the beginning of November. We had to reschedule because of weather one time. Finally, though, the job got done. I'm very pleased at the work they did. Everything looks so much neater & brighter. I would call them again for any of my tree needs.

Mark was very responsive to the initial call and he was super flexible in making an appointment. Although CleanCut do not service our area (primarily), he was willing to make the hike all the way to Alexandria. Mark and his crew (with two men) arrived on time and performed the task as planned. There were zero surprises at the end and the crew efficiently and effectively cleaned up all the debris as planned. I plan to hire Mark and his company again in the future.

I purchased a deal from Clean Cut Tree Service for $200 worth of service for $99 on 10/29/13 and the vendor came out 11/14/13. He was supposed to have shown up between 10 noon, but didn't arrive until after 2pm, no phone call or email to let me know he was going to be late. I wasn't planning on taking the whole day off from work. He gave me an estimate well over other providers that I receive quotes from ($200 higher). Then he told me it took them one hour to get to my house from where they are located. I told him if that's going to be an issue then he needs to state he does not service my county like other vendors do on their websites. He's supposed to be sending me an official quote but I haven't seen it yet. Will not be using this vendor.

Mark and his team are thoughtful professional and careful in their work. Mark demonstrates amazing breadth of knowledge and expertise in his trade. He and his team took our overgrown and unhealthily crowded backyard and thinned the trees out with an eye to removing the MANY leaning scrub pines and damaged or spindly trees. The backyard now looks great...still "woodsy" but now with areas for my kids to play. They pruned and "elevated" the trees that they were leaving so that grass will be able to grow and we can enjoy more shaded but not dark areas. My family and I truly feel like our backyard was transformed!

It was okay. It ended up costing more than the Bid Deal offered, but the work was high quality.

Great company. The work that they did was first rate. They were responsive, keep me updated on their status and were professional. I would use them again. I used the $99 for $200 Worth of Tree Service coupon, which saved me about $100 of the entire bill.

Provider arrived on appointed time and started removing branches that over hung the back yard to such an extent that no light was able to penetrate. trimmed the tree in such a way as to allow the growth of the tree to look more natural. Removed all of the debris that was made so that you would not have known they were there.

They are very professional and extremely careful to do exactly what you want.

Clean Cut did an excellent job. showed up exactly when expected. got the job done quickly and cleanly. discussed various options including what i asked for and beyond -- but because i was on furlough i couldn't afford any more service. would definitely recommend this company. it did a great job. i would definitely use it again.

A young employee arrived on time and had a good attitude and was very professional. Wise beyond his years. He had above average knowledge in the tree field for his age. He climbed a tricky tree, found the right branch and used quality and reasonably sized equipment to cut the branch. I did the haul off and he stayed long enough to talk briefly about the tree biz in the area and his vehicle.

The team was very professional, safe, and efficient in their work. They explained the process and kept me in the loop when a decision was needed

Mark and one of his men came out when he said they would be here. They were professional and friendly. They clearly knew what they were doing. They made quick work of it and did exactly what we had discussed. They cleaned up after they were done and short of a little saw dust they left the place better then when they came. Over all I am very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend them.

The work was to be performed at my rental property back in the September. I use technology to make appointments and I asked for a date that the service could be performed. I would not be at the location; but I would let the tenant know that the tree would be trimmed that's out front on the property. Could not get a date from the provider? This service need to have been completed before 09/27/2013 to satisfied the Homeowner Association Inspection requirement for the tree to be trimmed.

CleanCut Tree Services weren't responsive to requests to set up an estimate appointment then didn't show up when the appointment was set.

Excellently; the owner comes out and does the estimate, provides ideas. He then communicated excellently about the final scheduling. When they came out, they were super efficient and cleaned up everything very well. All the crew (there were 3 others with him) were very polite and appeared very professional. Even a couple of neighbors told us later how they enjoyed watching their work and how efficient and clean it looked.

It was fine. It was $99 for the deal, and then it was $50 more, so $150 altogether. They started work right away. He was coming to look at my tree, and then he was able to do everything that day.

I found Mark on Angie's List and called him. He answered the phone and took my information. He called and came by to give me an estimate the very next day. He gave me a verbal quote for the work and then later followed up with a written quote via email. He gave me two possible dates for the work (within less than a week!), which I said worked fine. He later emailed me with the final date and time. On the date of the service Mark and Dillon arrived on time and ready to go. Mark had estimated that the job would take about 4 hours. They worked safely and efficiently and were done in three hours. They were friendly and answered our questions. They also cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't be happier with the service. I would recommend Clean Cut Tree Service without hesitation.

Work performed in a timely fashion, with no damage to the shed under the trees. Good price for the service performed. Mark even reconfirmed with my neighbor that she was OK with removing the tree before doing so. Roots were on her property, but the tree was 90% in my yard. Good cleanup. May even use them for moving a shed.

Unfortunately, we were not able to take advantage of this Deal, but the comapny was very professional in their dealings with us, and we plan to use their services at a later date.

They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. I had cut down couple of pine trees on my own and let them on the driveway. He took those trees away as well. When he was done with the cherry tree, he came over and asked if I had anything else and so, I pointed out some pine trees and trimmed those up for me too. He went beyond the Big Deal offer and did some extra things for me, which I thought was really good.
