He came by previously and gave me an estimate for pruning the two trees I needed done. The quote was quite satisfactory to me, so I authorized the work. He came by at the appointed time and did an excellent job with the pruning and the clean up service. I am having him return at a later date to do another tree! Very down to earth man.

We bought a home that came with a large cherry tree growing in the small front yard, very close to the house. We called Mark for his opinion on whether it could be pruned or needed to be removed. He explained some options, pruning the roots heading towards the house and trimming the crown, or removing the tree. We agreed that Mark would come and evaluate the situation and take whatever action was needed. He inspected the roots, checked our foundation and the sidewalk, and concluded the tree should come down because it risked damaging the masonry. He had the tree and some unwanted bushes out in a short time and came back a few weeks later to remove the stump. We are extremely happy at the quality of the work performed and Mark's professionalism throughout the process. If I had another tree to remove or prune, Mark would be the guy for the job.

They arrived on time. Sized up the job and were done in an hour.

The owner of the company, Mark Hawthorne, responded to our request for a free estimate the same afternoon we contacted him. The work would involve significantly trimming a large cherry tree in the front yard of our townhouse. The tree had gotten very large -- broad and tall -- way too big for the small yard. Mark suggested we remove some large branches. That would narrow the tree up a bit, away from the houses. It would also let more sunlight get to the grass. We made an appointment for 5 days later weather permitting. Mark did a thorough job; he was knowledgeable, listened to our concerns and requests to cut additional branches, and gave us good advice. He also hauled away all cut branches. Communication -- from getting an estimate to making the appointment -- was excellent. Our tree and yard look great. We highly recommend CleanCut.

The gentleman is a true arborist and knows his way around trees. He did an excellent job for a very fair price, and the tree looks great.
