Description of Work: Had water in the basement and had to tear out patches of drywall and molding around floor and a door so extensive drywall patching was required and floorboards and door framing had to be repaired. Then everything needed to be painted to match the paint in place.

Description of Work: Tim Clayborne showed up, went over the job, took notes and said he'd send me a quote "right away." I had to email him two weeks later to get him to send me the quote. He sent the quote a few days after that, and it was nothing but the notes he'd taken during the first meeting. In that email he stated that he would contact me in early May with a start date for the work. It is now late June. No word from Clayborne. I can only rate him as professionally incompetent and unreliable.

Description of Work: Painted the family room (panelling), doors, and hallway. |They are meticulous, professional, and knowledgeable. They may be more expensive than some other companies, but they do excellent work.

Description of Work: I found Clayborne Painting when we had a leak in our upstairs bathroom that blistered our plaster walls below. They did a remarkable job at repairing the plaster walls and trim. Since then, we contracted them to paint all of our interior and the exterior of our home. On the exterior they painted the trim, garage doors, columns and shutters -- replaced rotted wood where needed, primed and painted. They then moved inside. We have plaster walls in most of our house -- they repaired any damaged plaster, caulked all areas before painting, filled nail holes, and stained wood beams and columns. They also removed a considerable amount of wallpaper on both plaster and drywall walls, prepped and painted.
