No one showed up for scheduled appointment nor did I receive a call. I called back, 2 days later. The conversation was hard to hear, apparently they were on a job. The phone was answered with a Hello.... I asked if I had reached "C&S" and if I could talk to someone about why no one showed or a call for my scheduled appointment and whether they were interested in the job. Only to be lectured whether I had only called to give him a hard time by asking and of course, they wanted the job and how busy they were . said he was unaware of my appointment and asked if it had been with the showroom since I asked to speak with an office manager. I told him I was just trying to figure out who to talk with about an appointment. I had wanted to reschedule but by then the conversation continued on lecturing me on how I asked and good luck with........................ I hung up.

In October of 2011 we started communications with a few companies on the installation of glass shower doors in our home. We selected mostly Angie-list vendors plus a few other local companies we found via the web. The estimates we received were $2803, $3020, $3279, $3700, $3900, $4041, and $4300. The estimates were all for the same design (I either sent drawings to the vendor, or they came over to our home and measured). Now for the fun: Our situation wasn't the easiest to install the doors in due to some unevenness in the walls & tile of our older home. Some of the vendors came over and grumbled a bit... and one simply told us that for $4000 we'd get a shower door that was not warrantied against leaks (I'm not sure why one would buy a shower door, other than preventing water from getting out... LOL). About half the vendors made it past the first cut. Due to budget constraints we had to leave things off until this year, and when we reached out to the vendors again, the only consistent player in the list was C&S. They already had the second best bid, and we asked if they would match the lowest bid we had because we preferred to work with them to which they agreed. We signed the contract, gave them the credit card and they were good to start the process. As I indicated, we had a tougher than normal install and there were a few blips during fabrication of the actual glass panels due to the edge requirements. Chris called us and told us that they opted not to charge the first payment until they nailed down a design that would work, and they came over and remeasured. On the second pass, the glass met their goals and we scheduled the installation. Considering they did all this forethought without my asking had me impressed with their customer service-focused tilt which seemed absent in the other 6 vendors (especially the one that wanted $4000 and didn't want to give us a warranty! LOL). Chris, Sandy and crew arrived and installed the first shower door on day 1 (it was not an easy install considering our tiny bathrooms barely allow one person to work in there comfortably, and they wrapped up the other shower in day 2. The vendor had included the incorrect hardware for one of the doors which they took care of in a 3rd meeting (they fully installed the door on the second trip allow us full use of the shower while the replacement parts arrived). All in all, the shower doors look great! We got great service, an amazing price, and we were treated like paying customers (unlike how you get treated by most other vendors nowadays). Chris & Sandy are definitely a pleasure to work with and in retrospect, I can say I'm glad I went with them rather than the other folks.

If you need a glass door in your home - call C & S. We received several estimates, theirs was by far the least expensive. You often hear, "you get what you pay for." In this case, we got more than what we paid for and saved more than $400 dollars. Chris came out on a Sunday to accommodate our schedule. He walked us through the different options and helped us find the perfect fit for our new shower. The other contractors said it would take several weeks, some more than a month to get the glass installed. That wasn't the case with C & S. Chris and Sandy made a point to get our door installed on a Saturday, meeting our request to get it in before a visit from family. They are friendly, professional and good at their jobs. I highly recommend anyone who wants to save money and avoid headaches call C & S first.

Overall it went very well. The price was fair, the guy was very friendly and knowledgeable. He saw that the original contractor did a crappy job and that's most likely why I had problems in the first place. The cleanup was as good as can be expected for having many shards of glass in the bathroom. The replacement of the glass was excellent. Very professional work and looked and worked great. I would recommend using this company for glass repair!

C &S came, measured, fabricated and installed the shower stall in a timely, professional manner and at a fair price. I would hire them again.

It was a positive experience. Their quote was comparable to other quotes we received. They were knowledgeable and seemed professional. If we need glass work, I would contact them again.

C&S Custom shower Doors were very response and explained everything very clearly including the types of hinges being used(i.e. how they were more heavy duty than what is normally installed for the frameless shower to be more sturdy). Before the bathroom remodeling was about to begin, they came and took measurements and gave estimates based on different sizes. Then after the remodeling, where new tiles had been placed in the shower area, they came back again, and remeasured. They indicated certain areas where the tile needed to be cut in order for the glass to be flat against the wall and they took care of cutting the tile. Overall, the estimate was on point, they were very professional and made sure the frameless shower enclosure fit correctly and properly.

The existing door had a frame that the installer said was necessary because this is a steam shower. C&S had no problem in coming up with a good looking frameless design that works perfectly. It has been in place for more than a year and is just as tight as the day they installed it. We couldn't be more pleased.

They closed for Christmas so it took longer than expected. The project was satisfactory.

C & S responded within a day to our request for a job estimate, and invited us to their display room over in Manassas, VA. By special arrangement, we visited the showroom on a Saturday afternoon (normally closed on weekends) and were led through several options by Chris, who provided a quite thorough review of the pros and cons of different types of installation, and recommended a very attractive glass shower door, mid-range in terms of price, which we agreed to have installed. Chris and his team proved quite flexible when informed of a potential scheduling problem. The installation date was moved forward a few days to accommodate my family's travel plans. Installation: C&S's crew arrived on time and completed the installation in about half a day. They were extremely neat, their work and finishing is top notch. We are more than satisfied with the quality and appearance of the bath-tub shower doors and grab-bars. While on site, the crew was asked to also install a replacement for the toilet paper holder and swap out the shower faucet nozzel. These items, too, were done very professionally and at minimal additional cost. We would definitely recommend C&S to anyone needing the kinds of service we requested and received.

They were very knowledgeable and punctual. And when they found big problems with the old install, they recommended someone to fix the shower floor and replace the tiles and came back again once that fix had been completed.

The work went very well. They were easy to work with, and they did a good job. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

We decided on C&S after contacting several other Glass companies. The price they quoted was in the same ball park as the other companies. However they offered to come and give us a quote, showed up exactly on time and overall we just liked them best. We were totally right in our choice as we could not have been happier with the final result!

It went very well. Chris and ken came in and with utmost care, took the old door off and did a great job. I expected tile breakage, but there was very little and for a small sum they went to home depot, bought matching tile and fixed everything and then installed the new shower doors. It looks terrific! And for a great price.

EXCELLENT - would never consider using anyone else.

We had three bids for the shower door, C&S was a little higher but quite competitive, their reputation and amount of experience were far better than their competition. They came on schedule, did an excellent job and left the workplace spotless. So far the door works fine and looks terrific.

They were all good guys. We have a glass stall shower and we’ve had them back several times. All you have to do is call and they’ll come but they need a heavier glue or something. They try to please you and their prices are better than everyone else’s.

It was an odd sized opening and I thought it would entail some real problems. They came out, measured, sent me the options available for what I wanted and we ordered it.They told me the "wait time" and earlier than expected, called to say it was in. We set up an appointment and they installed it perfectly. It turned out better than I had expected. This company is low key, professional and does beautiful work. I would use them again in a minute.

These guys are true artisans. The work that they did was way, way above what we expected. Our primary contractor did not have a whole lot of experience with higher end bathrooms. Chris and Jim worked with the primary to teach them what needed to be done. Due to problems with the tile installation they had to come back and remove the doors then re-install them. These guys really know their business; they made sure that the tile installer knew exactly what needed to be done, they also provided us with a lot of information on how to make maintenance easy. These guys are just wonderful.
