In conjunction with payment for the installation of a compressor on my air-conditioning unit, the part itself was covered under warranty, I paid approximately $1300. The technician and I then discussed the maintenance warranty service provided by Brooks and I agreed to such service. I was told that they would come out in the fall another times of the year to service the unit. I have two heating and air-conditioning units. So the price for both units for maintenance was $55.90 (428.95 + $2695). I am not sure whether it was monthly or not. Although I called the office and left several messages requesting paperwork on the plan, none was forthcoming. The first payment was made on around August 5 when the replacement compressor was installed. . I then discovered that they had charged my credit card in mid-September for a second maintenance payment of $55.90. I did not authorize the charges and that payment was declined. InStead, I sent a check on 9/28/22 to Brooks for $55.90. The check was cashed. On 10/4/22, I sent a second check for $55.90. That check was also cashed. But, on 10/15/22, Brooks charged my credit card used to pay for the compressor another $55.90. So in just 21/2 weeks, Brooks took payment of three supposed monthly payments of $55.90. They were only authorized, as evidenced by my signature, to use my credit card that one time in August 2022. That is why I sent them checks so that my credit card would not be charged against my wishes. And, Brooks never called to set up any type of seasonal maintenance service. It was only offered after I told their accountant that I wanted to cancel the maintenance plan. When I spoke to their accountant on October 28, 2022, and told her that I had been sending in checks for $55.90 and they had also charged my credit card $55.90, she then alleged that the payments charged and made. We are really not for the maintenance service but rather so that I could receive a discount on the compressor installation back in August. However, the August invoice itemizes the maintenance plan into two charges of 28.95 and 26.95, one charge for each unit. Yes she was trying to tell me that the three payments of 5590 totaling approximately 150 reflected a payment to receive a discount. I also emailed copies of the canceled checks to the accountant that she claimed she could not read. Therefore, I am not entitled to a refund for being overcharged and overpaying for services never offered or rendered. When I spoke to them they did not even know they had not scheduled a maintenance service and connection with my plan. They are only interested in collecting as much money from me as possible. I offered to have someone from Brooks come to my house and look at my bank statements. They did not take me up on that offer. They do not want proof that they have overcharged me because they do not want to refund any of the monies that they collected unlawfully. And I say unlawfully because they had no permission to charge my credit card in October for any maintenance payment. The only signed authorization to charge my credit card for a maintenance was in August 2022. I sent them the canceled checks by email and provided the number of the checks, the dates written and the amounts. But proof is not what they want. Money is. My money. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. I would advise others to stay as far away from the company as possible . And if you decide to go with them for work do not get their maintenance plan.

Brooks Heating & Air is one of the best companies I have experienced. I had my two HVAC systems in my townhouse replaced by them last year (2021) and everything, down to the installation, went smoothly. Mike was the tech that came out today to do the annual Fall Checkup on my systems, he was very professional, respectful, and very knowledgeable. He even wore a mask and shoe covers. I am very pleased with all the service and will continue using Brooks Heating & Air Service for my home. By far, Brooks Heating & Air is the company that is above all the other AC/Heating companies I have ever done business with. Excellent Service. Enjoy.

We feel that the owner Kenny is honest and does not try and sell us on anything unless it is essential. It was time for us to purchase a new HVAC system and Kenny advised us on an energy-efficient design that should help lower our gas bills. The installation team was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. I highly recommend Brooks for any heating and cooling needs.

Have used to repair and service a unico a/c unit, then later enable that unit to heat after the install of a heat pump (also by brooks), as well as service an old oil burner. It was hard to find one company that could service both systems, but we've been very pleased with brooks! Owner and all employees have been great to work with - definitely recommend.

Came to check the HVAC because of a terrible smell coming out of the vents. Been told changing the coil would fix the problem. That did not help. Had technician come three more times to spray some organic chemicals to fix the issue - very little to no result. Last time i called their suggestion was a cheaper air filter would fix the issue...Now they are not returning my calls anymore.
